[Tifa Lockhart]

Mai was in the bathroom, staring at herself in the mirror with a forlorn sigh.
"You've let yourself go Mai..." She murmured, turning on her side to stare disheartedly at her slightly bulging stomach.
She chuckled mildly and contemplate VERY briefly working out to get rid of it, but why bother when things were so much easier HER way.
With only the briefest thought her stomach vanished. She thought about cutting her hair too, but figured she should fish for an opinion out of the others before she made any definite decisions.
She then exited the bathroom, surprised to find the atmosphere she'd entered was quite thick.
She was going to ask, but decided against it.

Xuan sat by the bed, staring at Kai's childish form; curle up an content. He lifted his hand and move the damp hair out of her face.
He the felt a warm presence leave him an angered dread filled him up. His hea whipped in the direction of the door; where the white tiger stood with his head lowered, ears back, tail between his legs at the glare he was given from Xuan. Xuan stood silently an passed him without a word said. His eyes turned black once out of the door; his face pained.

Bai kept his body the closest to the ground that was possible and crept over to Kai's bed. He lifted up one of his overly large paws and batted her hand.

Mai looked over at Xuan at the door, a confused expression on her face as her gaze flicked between kai's bedroom and the man. She thought about asking what was wrong, but chose to stay quiet just in case.

Slowly and only half-aware Kai woke, feeling the paw batting at her hand, she rolled over to look into the huge blue eyes of a white tiger. At first she was filled with fear and then she realized it was Bai, her calm returning.
"Whats the matter?" She asked without thinking.

'I was foolish. Not paying attention. The vampire has taken The Dark Lord's Daughter.' he turned around and left the room. 'Everyone is to meet in the lounge room imediately' Xuan sai at the same time as broacasting it through his thoughts.

Mai frowned lightly and morphed into a wolf, bounding away into the loungeroom where she curled up on the floor waiting for everyone else.

Kai however was left sitting there stunned, like the bottom of her stomach had dropped out and was trying to digest her heart.
She stood, despite how tired she was and walked into the lounge room, her jaw hanging open with concerned awe. She couldn't help but think maybe this was her fault, if Xuan hadn't have been out with her Simone would be safe.

Everyone was assembled in the lounge. Xuan loked stone cold. His black eyes staring out in constant communication before a definite 'pop' sounded. A man wearing scabby jeans and a "Linkin Park" top strode in and instantly knealed down infront of Xuan after nodding to Bai; who had somewhat regained his composure yet shrunk back at a glance from Xuan. "My Lord"
"Gold. Where is she?"
"She is on her way here now. BUt she is getting the Phoenix to mind her eggs before she leaves them"

Kai took a seat beside Mai, hugging the shaggy black wolfs head in her lap.
She hadn't spoken yet, so Mai would not know she could again. The two of them remained silent. Kai's heart bleeding with sympathy for Xuan. Yet, there was something else there, the yearning need to go out and find his daughter herself... just so she could see Xuan smile.

Xuan's eyes glazed over and soon there was yet again another 'pop' and a woman in highheel sandals and a long black dress appeared infront of him. She had pink ribbons laced through her platted ebony hair and small features. Instantly she was also at Xuan's feet. "Dark Lord"
He acknowledged her and got straight to what he wanted to say.
"Alexander De'Marzio has stolen Simone. She is half Celestial. If he drinks her blood, he will become more powerful then I am at this moment. But she is also half human; meaning it would kill her." his forehead creased with pain at the mere thought but he continued on. "He knows nothing of the rise and fall of celestial power in children, but he won't take chances as he knows i will be after her as soon as possible. He looked at the young woman before him, "You will stay here and wait. Teach Mai what she needs and then send her in the right direction. Bai, head to the east. Leo and Micheal - stay here and wait for Mercy. Tell her what has happens. I'll be requiring her assistance when we return with Simone. Kai and Gold You are both with me. We'll be heading up into the mountains."

Mai barked in affirmation, her wolfish eyes hardened and ready to do whatever it takes.
Kai's eyes were also hardened and ready. She stood, her entire posture indicating she was ready to go with Xuan, she was GOING to get Simone back no matter what.

[Sparkles]

The female turned end indicated for Mai to follow her down the passage. "My name is Jade." she introduced herself briefly.

Xuan walked straight out of the door. Gold walked toward Kai and bobbed his head, "Please" he meant for her to follow after Xuan next.

Kai nodded in return to Gold and followed wordlessly after Xuan, not sure whether speaking was appropriate at this moment in time.

Mai stood and shook in a very doggish fashion before racing after Jade.
"I'm Mai." She barked her reply.

"Do you understand the situation?" Jade asked, turning the corner and spinning around to face Mai. "I understand that you are somewhat of an Indian Celestial yourself? Have you ever been to the Celestial Plain?"

Gold crouched down and put his hand on the rock ground, listening. Xuan stood close by, becoming rapidly impatient.o

Mai shape shifted back into her human hair and brushed back a stray lock of her long black hair.
"Sort of. Things work a little differently. My father is Kwatee, he oversees the changes in the world... my mother was a human woman... Kai's Great great great great grandmother actually... i've never been to the nether-plain myself, father left me here to guard his human family until he deems me ready." She raised an eyebrow at Jade.
"Why do you ask?"

Kai stood silently, watching with curiosity at what Gold was doing.

"Gold will join you in a mment and shall take you there... but I would prefer having your consent first. Although we will not have much time..." Jade seemed to be getting more flighty by the second. Her gaze bore into Mai expectantly.

Gold stood up and nodded his head to Xuan. Xuan frowned as a reply - he didn't like what he heard.
"The vampire should have left a shiver in the ground from his last steps... but I can't feel it. Which means that it isn't him." Gold explained to Kai in a whisper.

Kai frowned at Gold's news, not familiar with many mystical occurences, but from what he said she could deduct this already meant things were worse then they first seemed.

Mai also frowned, but she was more confused then anything.
"Uh.... why? Just as long as Kai will be safe." She made sure her request was firm.
