If Kai wasn't a mute already, she would have fallen silent now. She raised her hands to her mouth.
Oh my... their so... She couldn't find the words. But they were beyond beautiful.

[Sparkles]

"They are not classified in any breed, as they are the only two left. They belong to Alexander for the time being; as I am not over here much at all. They also have a year old foal. Simone called her Black Beauty as she had a fettish for the book at the time" he stopped talking; obviously taken into his memories. In the meanwhile, Star had arranged herself right infront of Kai, and was nuzzling her hand as if thinking there must be food or something sweet in it.

As the mare began to nuzzle her hand Kai reached forward with her other one to stroke the beautiful creatures strong neck.
As she did so she failed to notice silvery tears running down her own face.
She then remembered something, and reached inside her jacket to produce a Barley sugar, which she unwrapped and offered to the beautiful mare.

[Sparkles]

Star gently took the barley sugar out of Kai's hand and then licked it where the sugar had just been to make certain that she hadn't left anything.
The stallion lowered his head and stared at Xuan straight on; it's eyes transfixed with his.
"They will take us to where we need to go" Xuan said calmly, sounding very self assured and yet caring at he same time.

Slightly startled from her day dream Kai turned to look at Xuan, still stroking the beautiful mare fondly.
Where are we going? She questioned.

[Sparkles]

Xuan smiled in a very Bai-like manner, "You'll find out soon enough." He took a slight casual hold of the horse's main and gracefully but not purposfully got up onto the stallion. Star turned and walked over to a gravestone so that Kai would have a step-up.

Kai took on a slightly indignant look at this gesture from the horse, after this look her eyes hardened and instead of using the gravestone like the mare had intended Kai broke into a run, and just at the right moment she launched herself up and landed effortlessly and lightly on the mares back.
Phew... that was a rush She thought mostly to herself.

[Sparkles]

'Indeed.. Come now' the stallion turned and headed into the blackness of the forest out of view and the mare instantly started following her mate.

Kai bent forward a little as the mare began moving, not gripping with her hands, but trusting her legs to give her the balance. She felt slightly stupid now, for showing off... totally obvious... doh.

[Sparkles]

Then walked in silence for quite a time before even the slightest light showed through the trees - but they passed it and entered even deeper into the forest.

Kai dozed off, her head rested gently on the neck of the mare, cushioned by the mares silky mane.

[Sparkles]

When they finally stopped, Xuan dismounted. He looked tenderly at Kai, sleeping as she was. She looked so fragile to his eyes, that he couldn't stop himself from nearing her and gently taking her off of Star,and into his arms cradle style to carry her. The horses followed along behind as the forest continued - even now - to thicken

Kai did not stir as she was picked up, instead she seemed to grow even more comfortable, subconsciously snuggling into the comfort of the arms that held her, unaware of where they were.

[Sparkles]

They came to a small stream, where the water bubbled softly. Each time a bubble popped, it would emit tiny sparkles into the blackness; illuminating the surroundings. "her" he muttered softly, placing he down by he side of the water, "jijer" The water quietened and went still.

Kai stirred upon being put down and she sat up blinking blearily at the strange surroundings, eerily beautiful, but strange.
