Kai blinked abruptly at this, slightly confused.

Mai however threw her hands in the air and put a mock shocked expression on her face.
"She's talking to me i know it!" She then pointed at Simone, a grin on her face. "You're cute, but i can't understand a word you're saying. Talk S L O W E R, i'm an idiot" She then laughed.

Simone huffed and Xuan picked up for her.
"I was in London some time ago and I saw a blacksmith's on the side of the road. I went inside and the man who owned it had a last name 'Black' so I decided that I would ask him to fiddle around with my money and he agreed once I'd convinced him that I was not lying about who I was. From then, his decedents have take on the role."

Mai's jaw dropped and an enlightened understanding dawned across her face.
"Ooooh i get it."

Kai gave a silent giggle at Mai's antics.

[Sparkles]

Philip was grinning, "He chose my family over so many others because of our sirname"
Xuan shrugged and glanced back at the pictures of the ocean, slight longing in his expression.
"Would you like tea My Lord?" Sonia stood up. Xuan declined politely and she asked any else.

Mai graciously accepted the offer of tea, and then had a brief argument with Kai who wouldn't have one.
"You're gonna dehydrates yourself, and then your brains will shrivel up."

To this, Kai merely shrugged and sat back into her seat, resting a hand on her collar bone.

By 6pm it was becoming darker outside. Everyone was not sitting around an indoor log-fire, telling each other about memories and stories. Simone had many; most of which involved her tripping over in some form.
"Kai? Will you accompany me on a walk please?" Xuan offered her his arm once he stood up. Leo eyed Xuan curiously, but quickly looked away so he didn't get questioned.

Mai had been listening intently, though at Xuan's words her eyes darted cautiously from him to Kai.
Kai glanced briefly at Mai before she stood and hesitantly placed her arm on Xuan's.
All you have to do is tell me i'm coming for a walk with you, you know. She said casually.

[Sparkles]

'I realise that. But you are not one of my subjects"[/b] he said in an obvious tone. Then, "Come" he said softly, before directing her towards the door. He had to duck slightly to get through it. Peter could be heard mumbling about Xuan's height and all the renovations that still needed doing.
He led her around the back and then they once again began through the long grass field.

Kai didn't say anything to this, she merely followed along behind him in silence, enjoying the quiet and the dimming light. This was her favourite time, just before the stars came out.
She remembered star gazing with her mother and Mai every night, they'd point out pictures in the stars and tell stories about them.

Xuan walked on in silence. Eventually the dark became penetrated with nothing. The house could not even be seen in the distance. He put his hand ontop of Kai's so that he had perfect control of the direction she walked.

Kai was not afraid of the dark, though she found herself feeling a very brief pang of terror when it became unnaturally dark, but then she felt a hand on hers, guiding her, and the fear disappeared.
Where are we going...? She asked gently.

[Sparkles]

You will see Xuan told her to step over something before slowely slowing down. A hiss came from the distance, loud and fierce, but Xuan did not even flinch. He stood where they were as a chill ran around them. Xuan could see Alexander as he appeared before them. The fierce expression changed to one of fear... then to one of loyal joy. "My Dark Lord! I welcome the to my home." he would bow low, his cape billowing around him, just as Xuan's was. To Kai, she would not see him.

Haha or so Xuan THOUGHT. The moment Kai had heard someone coming, despite her faith in Xuan and his judgment, she'd removed her special glasses and could now see the glowing red silhouette of a man standing before them. She inhaled deeply at this. Red was a colour often only seen in small patches but this was the only colour present.

Xuan stayed silent for the time being; only nodding to show acceptance to Alexander's presence.
Alex's eyes traveled over to Kai, "I see you have braught one of your servants?" his eyes graced back onto Xuan, pleading with him.
Xuan frowned and his eyes turned white.
"Ah, yes Dark One, I appologise My Lord" Alexander cringed from Xuan. "Y-you must be cold... will you come into my home so that I may serve my lord?"
Xuan looked down at Kai, attached to his arm. "That depends Alexander, on Miss Kai. Would you like to go into the home of a European Vampire?" he raised one brow in question.

Kai remained silent, despite her mild displeasure at being called a 'servant' but then she realized, deep within her somewhere, that she wanted nothing more then to serve her saviour with every breath in her body. She remained quiet, studying this strange man's aura until she was addressed personally.
Vampire? She studied the silhouette again. I would not mind, i trust you enough to trust your acquaintances, and then again, if the good gentleman really feels the desire to do me harm i see no way of evading it... so i will go where you lead, i doubt i'd find my way back anyhow... The self doubt was evident in her voice here, feeling minuscule in the presence of this newcomer, his aura simply radiated with self-confidence.
