Kaine pushed open a door and gestured into the nicely converted bunkroom. "This is your room." The room was mostly empty with a hammock in either corner and a chest at the foot of each hammock. "A non-paying stowaway would sleep in the brig" He said with a grin before excusing himself and leaving Kutuni the settle in.

Kutuni looked after him once she had entered the room... 'he wouldn't really do that would he?' she asked her self as a rertorical questian, though either way she answered it 'of coarse he would, you can see them eyes... they're pure evil' she gave the evils after him and swund her backpack onto the ground under a hammoch before swinging herself into another and lying her hands over her stomach while closing her eyes gently.

Kaine sighed. He hated having to hold up the 'big tough captain' image. He was actually a nice guy. He found Slade outside his cabbin and tapped him on the shoulder "Yes slade?" He asked.

[Cloud Strife]

Slade nearly jumped out of his skin when the Cap'n suddenly, and unexpectedly, tapped him on the shoulder. In fact, to show his surprise, he spun around with wide eyes. "Eh! Oi, Cap'n, I mean no disrespect, but geezus! Ye cain't jes go up behind someone an' scare the beegeezis outta 'em!" With a quick shake of his head, he'd rid himself of all traces of the surprise that had enveloped him only seconds before. "Eh, I was jes wonderin' if there was anything else ye'd like fer me tah do befur I turned in fer the night." He'd flash a grin in his direction while he waited for his response. After all, Slade liked to help when he could.

Kaine bent over lauhing at Slade's reaction. Before the women came a board he didn't laugh much, but since that first laugh in the galley it seemed he was hooked. [/b]"Ah but that's why i do it Slade, FOR the reaction" He shook his head a straightend "Not that i can think of right now luietenant, go to bed i'll stir you if i need you." He smiled and tapped Slade on the shoulder before stepping sideways so he could pass.

[Cloud Strife]

A dark scowl appeared on his face; a humorous action. "It ain't funny! You really scared the crap outta me. >_<" He'd whine a bit, lightly bunching the Cap'n on the shoulder; another humorous and 'for fun' meneuver. "But a'right. Dun hesitate to wake me up if ya need me. Don't sleep well at night anyhow." He'd say this with a wink, and then pad down the hallway to his quarters while waving a hand over his shoulder in goodbye.

Meanwhile, Jake had finally finished up with cleaning the deck..."Ugh! Tha was gawd awful. -_-" He'd groan out while dragging his feet behind him. The young boy was currently heading in the direction in which he thought the Cap'n was in. After all, he needed to know where his quarters were and if there was anything else that 'his highness, Cap'n Kaine' needed.

Zac had been watching the new cabin boy from the crows nest for some time, though the cabin boy didnt know. When the deck was finally finished he swang down to land beside the newbie. "Lo and behold another rat" He said with a rough accent. "Zac's the name an' lookin' after your type is ma game." He offered a hand for the boy to shake.
"Spose you'll be wondering wher yer bunkin'? Well dat'd be with me!" He jabbed his thumb into his chest.
"Come i'll show ye'" And he gestured for him to follow.

When Zac suddenly landed beside him, Jake jumped. O.O "Whoa! Where'd ya come from! An' ye say I'm bunkin' wit ye? Oi..great, another loud one. -_-" He'd emit a sigh and reach out to shake his hand. "Pleasure tah be meetin' ye, I guess. Tha name's Jake." Another dejected sigh came from him as he followed after him reluctantly. He supposed he could get used to this, though he didn't really like to work. Maybe he'd ditch this place when they docked for more supplies.

Kutuni heard a faint grilling sound from behind her "bloody friggen pipes" she mumbled and turned to make sure that it actually was the pipes. And ohhh, it sure wasn't! she saw a large merchant ship off in the distance, and it was headed their way, coming from the port they left earlier. She swore under her breath and got to her feet, hobbling on her dead foot up to the deck where she looked around for Kaine, no time to mind that she didn't trust him.

Kaine lay in his hammock, headband pulled down over his eyes and hands up behind his head. He yawned and rolled over in his sleep. He was not worried, if anything was coming watch would report it... they'd never failed before.

"Get your lazy a** out of bed" she knocked on his cabin door with a small tight fist, it hurt. The merchant boat was traveling rather fast, not usual for one just passing; but she was more worried about being taken back to the dock more then what happened here.Then again, whatever happened on the boat would coincide with that, so the difference remained split nothing.

Kaine sprang from bed dagger in hand. "What?" He asked opening the cabin door to see Kutuni there.

[Sparkles]

"heyheyhey... watch it" Kutuni said with a bit of unease, moving his arm down and giving an innocent smile,[d]"just letting you know that there's a merchant ship from the port we just left, it's heading this way."[/b] She looked over her shoulder to the port of the ship and saw the merchant ship coming closer, or more it may be just coming slow and they may have been going fast, she couldn't tell.
