Cassidy nodded, "Right" and followed him out of the room. She wandered how long this journey would actual take. She'd asked a few people, but none of them had known on account ofno one ever traveling there... cause of the war that had been in progress... the war that they were concluding by accepting marriages with the princes.

Trey led her and her belongings down to the entrance/ exit of the 'royalty only' section of the castle. This was where they'd meet up with the princess's sisters

Llyr entered the hall where they were to meet the other escorts and Princess Sabela's sisters. He remained perfectly silent as he stood waiting, giving only the smallest of acknowledging nods to the knight who came escorting Princess Joslyn, who gave a timid wave to her sister and hurried to stand beside her.

Sabela put on a smile the moment she saw Joslyn. When she came to stand beside her, Sabela bowed her head slightly to kiss her forehead.
"You look beautiful, Josie," she smiled fondly.

It wasn't long before Xavier made it down to the hall with Cassidy to where the others were waiting. He nodded in a silent greeting to the other knights there.

((Is the King coming to see them off?))

[not sure. someone else can control him i s'pose.
Trey nodded to the other two knights, trying to be in higher-class mode. He snuggled closer to Llyr, "Is the king coming down to see his daughters off?"

He already was feeling empathetic for the king's daughters.

Llyr gave an unsure shrug.
"Probably, he does much care for them... then again he might be feeling guilty about it..."

Joslyn meanwhile blushed a light red colour and hugged close to her older sister.
"Thankyou Sabela..."

Sabela hugged Joslyn's shoulders, but a dark expression crossed her face briefly.
"Who knows what he is likely to do..." She then glanced down at Josie, then to Kassi, remembering to remain positive for them.
"I suspect he will join us eventually, but we shouldn't wait for him."

Xavier watched with a detached persona before suddenly speaking up.
"It would be a shame if the King missed seeing his daughters off. Perhaps I shall fetch him for you?"

Sabela instantly shook her head.
"Whether he turns up in time to see us off or not is entirely up to him. He can make his own way down," she said, concealing the bitterness in her tone. If it weren't for her father, she wouldn't have to be torn from Llyr...

Kassi joined her older sisters and gave them each a reassuring hug (though she felt like kneeling down and shedding a few tears, they were leaving home, to MARRY, people who they had never even met. "Father?" the young princess glowed as she ran over to the middle aged man descending the staircase, giving a quick curtsy and hugging him, "We're going to miss you so! Will we be able to visit?"

Joslyn embraced her younger sister and then abruptly turned to leave as their father approached. They were not on speaking terms at the moment, as Joslyn, even though she was incredibly shy, had voiced her distaste for having to marry a foreign prince she didn't even know. She'd promptly received a lengthy lecture about duty.

Llyr remained silent and lost in his thoughts, arms crossed across his chest, expression dark.

The King smiled warmly as Cassidy ran over to him, meeting her at the bottom of the staircase to embrace her firmly.
"Of course you will," he said.
King William wasn't a cruel man; quite the contrary. However, he felt that if he should have to send his daughters off to be married if it stopped this war and kept his people safe, that it was well within reason to do so. He kissed the top of his middle daughter's head.
"There is never an inappropriate time for my daughters to be in my company."

Sabela bit her tongue as all the possible retorts came to mind. As much as her father reasoned this was to end the war, she couldn't help but feel it was also a ploy to keep her and Llyr apart. It was obvious that her father would have some idea of what was going on, he wasn't a fool, and falling in love with Llyr probably wasn't 'appropriate'. So when her father approached her, she didn't speak, embracing him back only half-heartedly as he whispered about things to her about looking after the other two and how much she looked like her mother. When she released him, he moved on to Joslyn.

"My little Josie, I'm sorry you don't like this arrangment," he said gently, eyes sad. "I would love nothing better for than you all to stay with me here, but as a princess, you must put your people first."
He stepped forward to embrace her too.
"It is the curse of our blood."

[There IS a third prince in the other country, but i'll get to that later. The prince that I'll be controling it their older brother *grins*]

At that moment, Karlus walked into the room. Beside him walked his horse, Jersey.
"Hello my gorgeous sisters" he was grinning. Kassi looked at him and grinned back, having overheard the convocation between her brother and father earlier.
"I'm sure you boys won't mind a tag along... right?" he walked forward and swung one of his arms over Kassi's shoulders; just the right height to lean on. "Cuz I was kinda thinkin' about joinin' ya for the ride" he tilted his head toward Jersey, who right on cue, through his head and stamped his hoof.
