((by that I assume he means here? Like he's propositioning to travel together?))
Samael looked over at the woman that just walked in, who was now arguing with the woman that he himself was arguing with not to long ago. "Great at making friends, that one." he thought. He then looked over at Alario.
"Well that depends, where are you headed" He paused looked up at the ceiling, "I'm headed back to Insulem, to rest up and collect on my job, and to get another."

[Tifa Lockhart]

Lua stared at the girl with disinterest, caring little for the specifics of age.
"Unimportant. The major part of my statement was that it's rude to eavesdrop."

[Yuffie Kisaragi]

Naiah flinched, but she was not about to back down and lose the argument. "well it's hard not to listen when you guys could be heard insulting each other a good ways down the street! it didn't help when that guy came bolting out of here like someone was trying to kill him!" she retorted, folding her arms. "terribly sorry that human beings are naturally curious"

[Elario Luminus]

Alario shrugged. 'Up to you. If you'll let me join you, I'll go back with you. I'm kinda over the whole "vacation" thing anyhow. Perhaps we could find a particularly difficult assignment together?'
He was interested in working with a partner, so this would be a great way to see how things went the first time.

Sam nodded. "Could be interesting, though passage through Sorym is difficult at the moment, and that's the fastest passage to Insulem, so having a companion may prove useful"

Lua sighed boredly, annoyed by how riled up the girl was getting over such a petty thing.
"The only person who could be heard down the street right now is you. Grow up and stop acting like a child if you don't want to be called one."

[Yuffie Kisaragi]

This particularly infuriated Naiah, but she had to admit that the woman had a point. She huffed irritably and rather than wasting any more breath on this flawlessly calm woman, she turned to wander to the bar, where she greeted the man now returning to his place at the counter. He returned the greeting, calling her by name (making it evident she came here regularly) and after arranging her stay for the night, he began asking of 'business' to which she simply shrugged and replied "same old, same old...I'm hoping for some more interesting trades, though." she cast a brief glance to the strange woman again, curious why she was so well dressed and as such why she was in a run-down place like this (personally, Naiah only stayed here because it was 1- close to the stables 2- cheap).

[Elario Luminus]

Alario chuckled. 'Difficulty isn't something I'm well versed in, but I'm sure I can handle it easily enough. Lead the way, Sam.'
He clicked the safety on for his rifle and thumbed the hilt of his sword excitedly.

Sam nodded, not getting up but his head turned lazily toward the girl who just walked in. Interesting, I wonder...He stood up and calmly walked toward her.
"Miss, your a trader are you not?" he leaned on the bar. "See, me and my, eh, friend are looking for a job, perhaps you need an escort, should you be heading west that is."

Uninterested in what was going on around her, Lua disappeared upstairs to her room.

Naiah glanced up as she was spoken to, looking the man and his companion up and down scrutinously first, evaluating they were likely involved in the trouble earlier, but she seemed to deem them not so bad despite that and shrugged slightly. "well...I am capable of looking after myself, but I suppose the roads to the west are particularly restless these days...you are insulen, yes?" she inquired, though she was already sure they were, by their appearance and occupation. "I have been meaning to head across to your homeland for a while...I would assume that is where you are headed from here, given you evidently completed your last contract not too long ago" she smirked, clearly referring to the man who had run from the bar only a short while ago.

[Elario Luminus]

Alario nodded. 'Are, we're Insulen. Don't worry, ma'am, we'll watch over you and your cargo, whatever that might be.' He gave her the thumbs up and inclined his head towards Sam.

[Renegade]

Sam was about the reply when the front of the tavern exploded in blue flame. "Shit!" He shouted. He coughed as smoke intruded in lungs, he spat and looked around firstly to see if everyone else was okay, they seemed to be. Second he looked over at the five men walking in through the cloud.
"Sam!"[/i] one of them shouted.
Sam got to his feet and dusted himself off. "There is a door Y'know. Perfectly functioning...just over...Well it was just there. Your so destructive Lanius."
The man who seemed to be Lanius spoke, clearly aggravated. "This is where you die, you freak[/i]" At that point his four men rushed him.
He was just quick enough to draw his blade and bring it up to block a downward attack. He held his opponents sword there for a second and gave him a swift kick to the stomach. As his back arched down Sam went to counter but thrusting his blade, but it was blocked by another. Sam took a few quick steps back and surveyed.
Half of the tavern was gone, rubble - wood and stone, littered the floor, his new 'companions' were somewhere behind him. He wasn't sure what their status was, and in front of him he had four very large, very well armed men bearing down on him.

Upstairs Lua frowned, putting the book she had previously been enjoying down on the sideboard. There was an awful lot of noise coming from downstairs.
'Rowdy men,' she scoffed disapprovingly, rising from her bed and proceeding back out into the tavern. The moment she reached the ground level and saw the trouble there, she knew she'd had enough.
"What a pathetic waste of human ability," she mused as she raised a hand, the wind picking up in the bar.
She looked the image of someone you didn't want to mess with now, poised perfectly, as if she were flawless in how she carried herself. Her eyes were narrowed and disapproving, and the light caught the silver embossing all along her clothes and seemed to glow.
She manipulated the wind within the space, using it to pick up a bottle of rather cheap ale from behind the bar, she then smashed the bottle promptly over one of the ruckus makers heads.

[Elario Luminus]

Alario had rolled backwards when the blast hit, and now he was lying under a small layer of rubble. He pushed himself up off the ground and shook the dust off him. Through the dust and swirling wind he saw an outline of Sam, and that up-herself woman from before. He watched as one of the men collapsed after being struck by something made of glass, then pulled his sword out and charged at another man, vaulting over him and kicking him to the ground before rolling into a crouched stance, sword at the ready.
