Pirates

[Cloud Strife]

A curt nod followed Daja's orders to settle the youngsters down. Naturally, he kept an eye on Daja as he went about his duties, not once letting her too far out of his sight. "Alright you! Lower your weapons, kids! And get below deck! No use losing your lives." He quickly ushered the younger ones to below deck; receiving a little protest of course. Nothing he couldn't handle though. He snorted once his job was accomplished and walked towards Daja. "It is done." He spoke softly, hoping that she was alright.

Slade had been finishing up with his steering to make sure the blades went and did as they were supposed to. Once this was settled, he jumped to land next to Kaine. "Just gimme the orders, an' I'm all over 'em." He said this with a wink and then he'd continue. "No need tah be worryin' bout us blokes, Cap'n. We'll be fine." He smirked that arrogant smirk of his and turned to gaze upon the ship that they were almost upon. One of his hands instantly rose to grasp the small ring that resided on the chain around his neck. However, it dropped just as quickly as he awaited his orders.

Jake was still doing what he had been. Nobody had grabbed him yet. Ha! ACK, he spoke too soon. Sure enough, a pirate had slung him over his shoulder and shoved him below decks. "Ergh, damned pirates spoilin' my fun....well, not s'actly. I was kinda hopin' I could get on that ship and stay there...-.- This pirate business ain't what it was cracked up to be." He growled to himself, muttering this with an annoyed expression on his face. Oh well, it looked as though he was stuck here for the time being.

Kaine turned to slade and gripped his arm in a gesture of friendship. "Watch yerself you dog, i'm not comin' to save ye' life again" He teased before releasing his arm and turning to the crew. "Right men? Whose up for some gold!" Instantly the crew cheered and men leapt across the small gaps between thedecks and onto the trader ship. Kaine was not far behind and he went straight for the rudder chain. He had a horrible feeling these traders weren't going to surrender, there would be blood shed.

Once he had disabled the rudderchain he made straight for the treasurehold while around him pirates fended off attackers, as he had thought this wasn't going to be a clean pillage.

Ramudi's eyes instantly widened when he saw the first pirate make his way onto the ship. "Dammit!" He cursed as he turned to make sure Daja was safe for the time being. After being convinced that she was alright, Ramudi quickly sped off in the direction of a pirate that hadn't been fighting one of his crew members. "You! Why must you rob our ship? We've done nothing to you!" He'd snarl this out while bringing out his elongated dagger from his side. "If I must, I'll repel you all with my own two hands!" Ramudi was going to make good with his promise. No pirate will escape this ship alive....at least none that fought him.

Slade had followed Kaine's lead and leapt upon the ship as well, fighting off all that attacked him. That's when he saw one of his crewmembers struggling with Ramudi. Well, that just wouldn't do now, would it? Slade quickly ran over to his comrade's opponent, snuck up behind him, and trapped him in a nice solid headlock. "Gotcha, fella! Ye need tah be watchin' what yer doin'! Nevah trust a pirate tah be fair, my friend." Ramudi merely flailed about, attempting to gain an advantage somehow, but Slade's headlock was like a vicegrip, and his vision was gradually beginning to blur. As a last ditch effort, Ramudi slammed his elbow into Slade's stomach, causing his grip to loosen. However, Slade wasn't finished yet. Ramudi spun around and spat angrily,"I need to be watching? Bah, look at yourself, filth! You have no right to even be on this ship!!" Slade merely shook his head at this. "Ya ya, whatever ye say, matey." And with that, they continued to fight...and it took quite awhile for Slade to actually get away from him. After all, he figured that Ramudi should live to fight another day...

Kaine's head pounded with the sounds of dying screams. He was a pirate yes, but not a murderer. He dumped down the bag of loot he held and rushed pulling Slade away from the trader he was fighting. "Whaddid i say?" He looked at the trader.
"We rob ye' to stay alive, if ye' stood back and let us take what we want you'd live te' trade another day!" His eyes where fixd on the traders intently.
'However any one who fights back, dies. I will not risk my men." Kaine looked at Slade, "Take this one to my ship." He grinned and released his burley luietenant.

With an abrupt nod towards Kaine, Slade swiftly grabbed the bag of loot he had dropped. "A'right Cap'n. But do me a favor, an' keep tha guy alive. He should live tah see another day. A good fighter, he is." With a smirk, he quickly ran towards the pirate ship, leapt over the small gap between them, and went to put the loot into the storing compartment. Ah yes, sure was fun.

With a growl, Ramudi glared at Kaine. "You're the Captain, are you not?" He truly wasn't happy with Kaine's answer only moments before. In his mind, Pirates should never steal. They should act like normal people, instead of looting and other such actions. Ramudi was seriously tempted to attack Kaine and kill the Captain, however, just as he was about to lunge, a sharp pain came from his right shoulder. He winced and reached a hand around to feel a wet substance. He was hit. "Agh..." He spun around to find the one whom had stabbed him from behind, and saw Jake. Eyes widened slightly He was the one who stabbed him? They sent little kids to help loot?! That was outrageous! Little did he know that Jake had actually escaped from his confines, saw that his favored Captain Kaine was about to be assaulted, and simply attacked...

Kaine went into a rage. "Jake ye' should be on the ship! What would the crew say if i got ye' killed." He was also unhappy that the boy thought Kaine couldn't look after himself. He scooped up the trader and the boy and leapt back onto his ship.
"You stay here! The last thing i want is you killed!" He dumped the boy on the deck and carried the trader to the hold where he locked him in a cell. "It's jus' till we're done, then i'll let ye' roam a bit" He walked outside and called Kutuni.
"Kutuni! C'mere woman! I need ye' to patch up a new pal o' mine!"

Kutuni sighed as she was called, she was having fun just watching and waiting for someone to need her assistance.. but she was stuborn and took her time getting over to Kaine, she wasn't going to answer straight away to 'woman' as she dispised being treated like a thing; or even a man in any case.. but she had a spot to keep and so she did make it there fast enough. "yeah yeah i'm here to save the day" she joked and knelt down next to the injured man, "What can i do for you?"= she smiled kindly as his wound was temporarily covered over with matierial she couldn't tell if it was erious or not.

Kaine rolled his eyes at Kutuni and then made his way back to the fighting.

"Youch" she bit down on her lip when she saw the blood and the wound. "stay right there... i'll be right back, promise" she winked at him jokingly, trying to lighten abit, got up, spun around and ran for the captains cabin, he was the closest she could think of and she had a feeling that she had found some bandage in there earlier. She opened the door and there it was; as if it had only just been used! She didn't have much time to think so she grabbed it and shut the door behind her before getting back to him and warning that it may hurt a bit.

Daja had no idea who was who and what was going on, all she knew was that she had to stay alive. pity she couldn't say the same about her crew. she had only been training them for a short amount of time, and they still hadn't mastered the basics. she saw that they were fling there swords every which way and some where killing the other crew members. she started to look around for any sign of her aunt or brother and she didn't not like what she saw. she was sure that Ramudi had placed all the kids in the hull of the ship but she knew her brother. he could sneak in and out of any place at any time. her aunt was dead on the ground with a trader sword in her head, while her little brother had a pirate coming up upon him. "NO" she yelled and ran toward her brother.

Ramudi:
As the woman, Kutuni, approached him and knelt before him, he growled. "Get away from me, wench! I do not need help from a bloody pirate!" A hand extended in order to shove her away, and whether it connected or not, made no difference to him. He was, in no way, going to accept help from this woman. The only person he had ever allowed to help him in any way, was Daja. Her, and her alone. However, he was unsure of where she was at the moment, and he was growing increasingly worried. He muttered a small, "Daja...I hope you're alright..." under his breath but nothing else was spoken. Yep, that's right. He totally went into silent mode and would probably remain that way unless approached again.

Jake:

Jake growled when Kaine suddenly picked him up and dumped him on board. "No thank you?! Gah, so rude. The least he could've done is thank me fer savin' his arse." With a 'hmph' he flopped down upon the deck and sat there, totally annoyed. However, he did feel at least a little bit triumphant for taking down that big trader. However, he continued to sit and wait for the other crew members....

Slade:

Slade was the pirate that just so happened to be heading towards the little brother. However, it wasn't to kill the kid, no no definitely not, it was to see if he was injured. After all, Slade didn't make it a habit of killing off kids...no matter where they came from. "Hey kiddo. Ye really need tah get outta here, ya kno? Wouldn't want ye tah be killed. Hmm..." He looked around a bit, and spotted the hull in which the other kids were hiding in. "Bingo." Slade quickly picked up the small boy, despite his protests, and shoved the kid into the hull with the others. "Now ye stay there, kid. I kno for a fact that if ye come outta there ye'll be kilt. Wouldn't want that, now wouldja?" With a smirk he headed back towards the fighting. "Oi..I swear. Hasn't anyone heard of surrender? Sheesh. -__-;"

Kaine was nearly in tears, traders lay dead all around him. There couldn't be much more of them left! His momentary lapse of watch brought on its toll. A heavy sword sliced through the shoulder of his sword arm. He cried out and dropped his sword beforer falling to his knees on the deck. oh s*** i am open... He tried to push himself to his feet but his shoulder gave out and he fell again. The trader loomed over him triumphant look on his face.

Zac slashed down another trader and over the mans crumpling body he saw his brother. "No!" He yelled but as he rushed towards him he was cut off by another trader "Kaine lookout! Slade the cap'n'!" He yelled as the trader forced him back.
