Kaine looked at Jake and poked his yongue out playfully. At the boys question he turned to look at his luitenant. "Hopefully not to long, bit worried about mutany with all these traders on board..." He stretched his good arm while he sat down waiting for Kutuni's 'expert' treatment. "Though long enouhg that hill get the rest he deserves." Kaine added

Jake simply nodded. "Ah..gotcha. Oh! What're we gunna do about them?" He motioned towards Ramudi and Daja...He didn't really trust Ramudi too much...after all, he had every reason. Ramudi would probably want revenge for him injuring him..ya know? Jake have every reason to be a little nervous.

Kaine looked at the two. The woman, she seemed terribly upset, he had not intended anyone to be aboard when the trader ship sank... whatever caused that explosion was not his fault.
"They will be like you... slow to accept that they are stuck with me till i dock the 'Wind Walker'. Eventually they will accept it... i hope"

Jake merely nodded before watching the last bit of the trader ship sink. He sighed, not really sure as to whether or not having the traders aboard was a good idea...Oh well, he couldn't do much about it now.

Daja steped back from Ramudi and looked into his eyes. "thank you, Ramudi." she said in a small voice. "Lets go talk to the captain. We need to find out whats going to happen to us."

Meanwhile Kutuni had hesitated abit, she wasn't all that keen on open wounds that were also wet, i mean, it looked worse, but she felt she had to anyway, she had offered afterall. Stepping forward moved a piece of matierial out of the way, beginning to be as soft as she could while having to aply pressure to the bandage as she wrapped it around the top of his arm first. Then having to as quickly as she could wrap it around his chest so that the bandage stayed up the top part also, but as she did this she also noticed something else. moving the bandage up she grabbed a nearby piece of wet matierial and wiped at the blood until it was gone, she knelt down beside him and silently braught out a piece of something from the wound. As she did this she began to think it must be a piece of exploded timber from the merchant's ship.

Ramudi winced suddenly, however, his injury beginning to reopen. The bleeding at stopped temperarily, but his worry for Daja and his rather jerky movements seemed to reopen it. A silent curse came forth as he reached up to cover his injury. However, upon hearing Daja's thanks, a nod was given to her. "Not a problem. You know I'll always be here for you." A small smile appeared, but instantly diminished at the mention of the Cap'n. A scowl was set upon his features but he didn't protest; he knew that they had to. After all, the Cap'n could have thrown them all overboard like normal pirates..but for some reason he had allowed them to stay on the ship...wierd.

Kaine winced as Kutuni cleaned his wound he then smiled at her and turned his eyes to the door of the room. The Traders would no doubt pay him a visit concerning their fates. He would not be soft with them... but nor would he simply toss them overboard to the sharks, they would work for their food. If they pulled their weight, well... then he'd be nicer.

After a while, Slade cracked an eye open and groaned. "Ugh...where am I?..Oh right. Tha ship...Saved tha Cap'n...argh." He sat up, wincing. It felt like he'd been run over by a herd of horses. His whole body ached....Slade shook his head a bit and looked around the quarters. Mm..what became of the traders? He stood clumsily and hobbled to the door, opened it, and went out to the deck. There, he saw Kaine getting fixed up and Ramudi talking to Daja. He then stumbled towards Kaine and flopped down next to him. "Oi...what'd I miss, Cap'n? I dun like tah be left outta stuff." He weakly smirked. After all, Slade wasn't in top condition at the moment, he had to hoist Kaine's body and himself to safety...not an easy feat.

Ramudi remained near Daja, for he wouldn't leave her side until she told him to do so. And even then that was sketchy. He was very protective over her now that himself and her were two of the very few survivors.

Jake, on the other hand, was near Kaine the whole time, so when he saw Slade, he let a grin appear. "Hey Slade! Ye doin' alright?" He asked gleefully. Shocker really, seeing as how he 'never liked the guy'. Slade merely snorted in his direction, but gave him a wink. After all, he had to keep up his 'image'.

Kaine scruffed Jake's hair again and looked at his luitenant almost fondly "Ye right mate?" He asked while wincing as Kutuni bandaged his arm.
"Didn't miss much Slade, me 'n' Jake brought ye' here and yeah... here we are. The traders are on deck mourning their ship, but i am expecting a hoard of them bashing at my door any minute" He chuckled.

Slade gave a small nod at the inquiry as to whether he was alright or not and then he nodded again as he was told of the 'goings on' while he was out cold. "Ah, I see...poor souls. T'would be horrible to lose yer ship." He sighed to himself while giving Kaine a half smile and then turning towards Jake. "So, ye helped me aye? Well, thanks kid."

Jake snorted. "Ya ya." At the ruffling of his hair, he scowled darkly. "Stop that...." And with that he began to mutter incoherantly.

Kaine ruffled Jakes hair again just to annoy him and then pulled his bandaged arm away from Kutuni and hauled himself to his feet "I'd better go sort the traders out before theres a mutany." He tilted his hand to Kutuni, Jake and Slade for lack of a hat to tillt and then exited the cabin.

Slade nodded after Kaine. He would have followed, if not for the fact he could barily stand. So...he simply sat there for a while, taking a couple deep breaths until finally gaining enough strength to stand; clumsily. "Ugh..I hate this. It's like I've gotta gain meh sea-legs all o'er agin." He muttered to himself. However, he suddenly felt support...Jake.

Yes, Jake had resigned himself to helping Slade along, even if he was easily three times his size. "Ye look like yer 'bout tah fall over, Slade. Watch it wouldja. I ain't takin' yer whole weight on meh shoulders. Ye still gotta hobble 'long. I ain't much help ya kno." He scowled darkly up at Slade who was grinning down at him with that knowing look. Apparently, he knew Jake did care and that he'd probably stay on the ship with them even when they docked.

Ramudi, meanwhile, was still with Daja and instantly went on the defensive when Kaine was seen approaching. He stepped in front of Daja, glaring at the pirate ship's captain. Ramudi knew that he saved this man's life, but he wouldn't put it past a pirate to forget that and attack them anyways. However, despite his 'tough guy' act, Ramudi was still injured..and it clearly showed itself on his face. And...he was too stubborn to have gotten it looked at. In fact, he wouldn't even let the woman touch him. So..he was still bleeding..oi..

Kaine rolled his eyes as one of the traders istantly went on the defensive "Look mate, ye' wanna know what's going on or not? Also i suggest you get that tended to or you'll bleed te' death" He scratched his chin and bowed to the lady Trader behind Ramudi. "Apologies ma'am. I greive your losses also... it was not my plan i assure you" He felt quite awkward, he expected a yelling match any second now.

Ramudi merely scowled. "Is it wrong of me to utterly detest pirates like yourself? You have made the impression upon me that you are barbarians! After all, you have clearly made a reputation of yourselves by raiding ships and the like. It discusts me. And now, to add salt to the wound, our ship is gone!" A noise that sounded very similar to a growl followed; clearly stating his displeasure. However, he still remained in front of Daja; not enjoying his stay on bored the Wind Waker in the least.

Despite his talk, his vision was blurring from the blood loss and he was even beginning to sway. However, he somehow managed to stay on his feet a while longer...
