Tifa & Yuna

[Yuna Braska]

Yuna listens carefully to the Maesters as they thanked spira for the welcome and introduced Maester Seymour. "Oh no.. Maester Jystal Guado" Yuna said as she heard about the departed Maester. The blue hairs man turned to Yuna and stared at her for a while. Yuna blushed slightly and turned away.

"Right! last meeting before the game! COME ON hussle people!" Wakka yelled out to his team.

Cloud wasn't sure he liked the look that Guado Maester gave Yuna... and when she blushed and looked away he frowned. He placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Are we to join Wakka and his team Lady Yuna?" He asked.

"No we watch from the stands, Im sure it will not be long until the games start. " Tidus waved to yuna as he followed Wakak down to get ready for the game. He was a bit nervous himself but Wakka was more so.
"Urhhh, this will be my last game ya? I want to go out with a bang right" Wakka shook his head. After seeing the support the Luca Goers were getting he wasn't very enthusiastic.
"We will win Wakka! Stop whining. " Tidus replied.
Lulu was standing in the doorway when Wakka moaned. " He is always whining, Chappu never Whined."
" Yer but I'm not Chappu! I will win this ya! Like he said!" Wakka replied more motivated as he brought Tidus beneath his arm. Lulu said nothing more and went to join Yuna, Cloud and Khimari in the stands.

Cloud and Khimari had soon settled themselves into seats one either side of Yuna. Cloud observed the arena... they were much more elaborate these days. In his time the Blitzball arenas had been nothing more than big glass pools with seating placed below ground level so people could see into the water. They were now massive floating globes in which the players played the game.
"I wonder whether the rules have changed much..." He mused mostly to himself, but out-loud, "Jecht was still working on them..."

The tournament started off quickly, each game being no longer than 5 minutes, and having 10 minutes between each game and fifteen minutes between each round. Yuna had to stand up to cheer, she couldn't stand sitting down during a game of Blizball. "Go Wakka!" She yelled as Besaid began their first game.

Tidus found it weird playing Blizball in sound a weird arrangement, the water seemed like it was just floating as a giant sphere. Soon the buzzer went to start the game and so the first stage began. They were playing players who looked similar to Khimari, and he was scary enough.

Wakka was starting to get so much more enthusiastic as the rounds went by, he was telling all of Luca when Besaid got passed the first round, and soon they made it to the semi finals where they were versing the Al bed. Tough team to beat but Wakka and Tidus where a good team.

"Who do they have to verse in the grand finals if they win?" Yuna asked Lulu .
"Luca Goers" she replied. Yuna looked to Khimari and Cloud who were sitting stiff beside her.
"Your not a fan of Blizball are you?" Yuna asked Cloud though still wearing a smile on her face.

Cloud looked up from where he'd been staring almost blankly at the seat in front of him and focused his gaze on Yuna.
"No, not really. I played for Jecht's team for a little while, but then the novelty wore off. That, and i had far too many responsibilities to be playing games...Jecht never really understood that." His expression became just a slight frown before he shook his head.
"But its hasn't changed very much in 1000 years."

YUna paused for a moment and looked to the game before she turned back to Cloud. "Jecht.." She had figured he could be maybe Tidus's father. He never said his name so she wasn't sure, but she had some idea. The siren for the semi finals went off and the crowds roared. Yuna turned with a smile towards the score. 5 goals to 3. She wanted them to hear her but she couldn't whistle like other people so she cheered instead. Some moans could be heard in the crowd when they realised the captian of the Besiad team was being carried off by one of his team mates. He must of been hurt in teh last minute of the game. Yuna hoped Wakka would be ok for the finals.

Lulu got off her seat and seemed a little disappointed for some reason. "They will be down in the lower change rooms getting ready for the final. I'm sure they will have five minutes to spare before teh last match."

Yuna tilted her head at Lulu and smiled. "We will wait here for the next game.. Wakka doesn't need us clustering up the rooms. ".

Lulu nodded and went down to visit the blizball player before the next game started in a very short time.

"What did everyone do in your time to entertain? Since Blizball was just starting" Yuna asked the pale blonde with curious green and blue eyes.

Cloud took a moment to respond to Yuna's question, blue eyes were surveying every inch of the arena extensively before they turned to fix on Yuna with a powerful intensity.
"Most of our time was taken up by rebuilding our world." He replied, eyes narrowing a little as he frowned lightly, "We... never had much time for fun." He broke eye-contact and looked down at the arena, "I suppose that is why i disapproved of Jecht so much."

Yuna's smile faded for a little while but it grew again when she turned back to him. " I'm sure you will have some time here to have some fun. " Yuna said, not really wanting any of her guardians to not have fun.. on this last journey with her.

Cloud looked at Yuna again, a slight sadness in his deep blue eyes. Finally he spoke in a detached sort of way.
"I wasn't summoned here to have fun..." He shook his head, "I have a duty to do."

"So have I" Yuna said with a fake smile. She was there doing her duty, but she wanted to have fun as well. She wanted to have an experience she will never forget, with her friends, and she wanted them to have their own experiences.
