Eliah took the reins of her horse and placed them into her lady's hands. "Take him to the palace and inform me when he passes out, i don't want anyone to know he was ever there though." The girl nodded and began to lead to horse with Aloysuis upon it. Eliah trailed behind on foot, slowly growing far away from the crowd in distance. Looking upon the hill again to where the dismantled tower had fallen under the flames, she said one last goodbye in Prayer and continued back.

Collapsing forward onto the horses beasts neck Aloysius was comatose on most of the trip back to where ever he was going, when they reached their destination, he was tugged off of the animal and dragged inside. Feet dragging along the ground he was lifted up onto a flat surface and left there, slowly consciousness left him.

It didn't take long for Eliah to get abck to the palace. Though she liked the walk, thinking about what the Mepress had said to her. She was getting tired of ths society thinking of woman mearly as a entertainment or enjoyment. She was glad that they had chosen her to marry upon the prince. At first she thought this was her life and she had no control but soon enough fell in love with the prince and she had never got to tell him how much she loved him.

Closing the door behind her, Eliah looked upon Aloysuis unconcious on the bed that was lined with white pillows. Desperate to pull her dagger from behind her back to rip open his chest. Though she restricted herself for a while to look upon the man who did nothing to help her love.

Aloysius' dreams were plauged with memories of the battle. but more horrific, the mud was no-long caused by rain but blood spewing forth from the princes dead body,
"You did not tell my beloved my message!" The princes voice boomed forth with such force it knocked him over. Suddenly Aloysius felt as though he was drowning, the princes blood turned into red misty demonic spirits that filled his being, choking him.
"Aloysius! you have failed me once again, and for that you shall pay!" With the rpinces final words, he was rocketed back to conciousness......

Upon opening his eyes, Aloysius sat up quickly, grasping at his throat that was now freed of the deathly feeling , looking over himself he found the blood to be gone. In the corner of his vision he say a figure, it was the prince and he merely point in the opposite direction, folling the extended arm he saw the princes lady.
"Eliah! I have a message for you!"

Eliah quickly steped back from Aloysius when he suddenly sat up. Backing up to one of the tables, she snuck the knife into it. Holding her breath as he held his neck as if he was choking. She stumbled a bit as tried to push herself off the table, confused why he looked in the opposite direction to her. When he spoke of a message she hissed at him.
"I do not want to hear it"

The harsh infliction in her voice, cause his head to spin a little, as it finally stopped he tried to get off of the bench,
"Damitrious said that he loved you, and would be waiting for you in heaven" forcing the words out he, hoped that she would find them comforting in some way.

Eliah shook her head and went up to Aloysuis to punch him right in the side of his face. Angered but when she gave the punch she held her hands over her mouth. Never has she struck anyone.. it was not lady like and she could be banished if someone know that she hit a man. She freaked.
"Im sorry" Eliah went to run for the door.

When Eliah struck him Aloysius fell back against the bench, blood oozing from his cheek he could feel a bruise rising.
"Do not be sorry, I deserve it"

Turning around she locked the door looking at him.. annoyed.
"Just stop it! Stop being this pathetic boy! Your still Captian of the Roman Army and yet here you are, not knowing how many drinks you have had. By doing this you are embarressing the Roman's. And i will not stand here and watch the Empire Damitrious work so hard for, fall because their Captain gave up on himself" She clentched her fist the pain from the blow throbbing in it's veins.

As he was talked down to Aloysius only became more miserable with himself,
"The roman's shall be rid of me soon, I have decided to escape from this place." Looking at her, he gave her a cool intoxicated glare, "So I shall no longer be the cause of Damitrious' army to come to a fall"

"So you are prepared to abandon your Empire" Eliah was disappointed with him, she blames him for that day but can't let him leave. She wanted him to make up for what he did, even though she will never forgive him at least the greatest Captian Rome has ever seen wont leave him Empire to hide from this.
"You are prepared to face the treason, you are more despicable than i thought"

All the wine he had consumed was making his emotions turn in overload, slamming his fist down enough to dent the wooden bench he glared at Eliah,
"And what use have I been to the empire!? I have lost them their next Emperor" Rage caused him to roar forth at her, "I will gratefully place a nuse around my own neck for what I have done!"

Eliah jumped at the large sound made by Aloysuis fist, back up a bit as he forced his words into her. She turned her face away from him as he yelled at her. A single tear fell down her face. She whispered under her breath as she closed her eyes.
"There must be sacrifices for Rome." She looked upon the Captian with her crystal light blue eyes.. at bit scared of his state.
"Don't you have family? A wife.. a Child?" The fright in her voice came out in the sentence, frightened that he may go further than he already has in his drunken form.

As sobriety was cast upon him with her question, the captain lost his anger and gained a sense of anguish, it had long since been his desire to have a family, but with the protection of Rome is first priority there was little time left.
"I have neither, no wife, no child, no kindred here" Though his life had treated him well these past 37 years, his only regret was not having his deepest desire.

She stood still, looking into his eyes.
"So you wish to resign as Captian then? To run away from the only thing you have ever had. It's your choice" Eliah didn't want to stay much longer, this anger too was begining to build up.
"Now if you don't mind.. i have to go meet my new fiance' " Picking up her veil she was wearing before hand, she headed to wrads the door to leave, stopping for a moment to unlock the door slowly.
