Aerith watched Cloud for a moment.
"I'll let him sleep for now," she decided, before settling down beside Zack.
Her eyes were filled with concern for him.
"Make sure you take it easy. Your body probably isn't used to actually being fed," she said, a small chiding note to her voice.

Zack rolled his head so that he could look straight at Aerith and smiled, appreciating her gentle concern and firm instruction.
"I'll be careful." His smile would falter though, and be replaced with a look of infinite sadness very strange for him, "I can't... even remember the last time i ate something." He stared at the food she'd brought with forlorn eyes, his stomach didn't even growl at the sight of it. "Four years..." he mused quietly.

Aerith stroked Zack's cheek gently, eyes sympathetic.
"We'll ease you into everything again," she assured him gently.
"Just try it for now. You don't have to eat it."

Zack smiled back, closing his eyes as she stroked his cheek, he enjoyed being back with her, he'd not realised just how much happiness her presence brought him.
Tiredly he took another sip of his drink, wincing as it stung down his dried throat. He then picked through the food she'd brought, grabbing something a bit softer than the rest of it. He took a small bite and began to chew slowly, taking his time with everything.
"That's nice." He said once he'd finished the mouthful, smiling warmly, "What was that?"

"Well, for something 'non extravagant' it tastes beautiful!" He took another bite, chewing heartily before smiling at Aerith. "Are you gonna eat anything?" He asked, worried she might not have been looking after herself.

"Me neither...." Zack said, glancing over at Cloud, who still appeared to be asleep, though it was not a restful one, it seemed rather disturbed, as nerves kept twitching, making Cloud flinch randomly.

Aerith looked to Cloud, a strangely deep look of concern in her eyes for him.
"Maybe I should wake him..."
Her voice took on an almost motherly sort of tone.
"He doesn't seem comfortable."

Zack nodded his head, agreeing with her, his friend did not look like he was sleeping very well anyway.
"Just be gentle..." He said softly, his eyes filled with concern, "He might get startled."

"Of course," Aerith smiled, unable to stop herself from kissing Zack's cheek before she stood.
Keeping her footfalls soft, she moved over to Cloud, crouching in front of him.
"Cloud?" she said, voice quiet and gentle.

Zack watched as Aerith went over to Cloud, still enjoying the tingle her kiss had left in his cheek.
Cloud was lost in fearful dreams, the greasy man in glasses haunting every corner of his mind no matter how hard he tried to hide.
Then a voice called to him, gentle and female, there was a flash of a face, eyes of crimson, hair like the raven.
Then his vision returned and he jumped slightly in fright when he saw Aerith crouching there. His first thought was that something had happened, he'd fallen asleep while she'd been gone... was Zack ok?
His frantic blue eyes would dart over to where Zack sat watching, they then flicked back to Aerith, still not losing their panicked look.
Who was that girl? Surely she was important to be in his dreams, but why couldn't he remember her name?

Cloud seemed a little hesitant at first, eyes flicking between Aerith and the bags she'd brought.
He then looked to Zack, who nodded his head silently. It was then that Cloud looked at Aerith, his expression somewhat calmer.
"T-Thankyou?" He said uncertainly.
