Yugi turned to hurriedly fall in-step with the others, but his eyes remained on Fiora.

Thel led the group about 1km south towards his ship. A seraph fighter. Cloaked of course. He walked over to it and opened the cockpit, taking something from it a ling cable that he attached to his armor. Which was a emergency recharge system to use in a pinch if he didn't have time to do it the normal way.
He then got into the cockpit and pressed a few 'buttons'.
He the cursed under his breath.
"My communications are still down. We will have to-"
before he could finish a demon jumped onto his ship, snarling. It looked like a rabid dog with no skin, just muscle and veins. Here were more, 10 more.
He took out his plasma repeated and fired point blank into its face.

Dante spotted the demons and opened fire at two of them. The bullets tore through the exposed flesh of the dogs, leaving large holes which oozed blood. Whimpering, they fell to the ground and dissipated into ash. One other dog leaped at the Devil Hunter and went to bite him across the face, but was caught in mid-air by a shot to its back leg and a killing round through its gaping maw.
'C'mon!' he taunted, using a quick foot shuffle and the universal "bring it" gesture.

Yugi recoiled at the sight of the beasts, but he did not run, instead his puzzle emitted a flash of light and he took a step forward.
"Curse of Dragon!" Yami roared in his deep voice, extending the card in question as a mighty yellow dragon materialised before him and dived into the fray to handle some of the creatures.

With a huff of frustration, and a roll of her eyes, Fiora ran forward into the small battle, producing another blade from underneath the brace of her wrist-mounded pistol. She hit the first demon in the chest with flat palm, allowing her blades to penetrate flesh before her victim even noticed her weapons. She didn't hang around to watch it die however, immediately whirling around to catch another in the throat. With a mutter of cuss words in her native tongue, she dodged the efforts of the dragon the boy had summoned. Only... he looked - and most definitely sounded - different than he did only a few moments ago. She would have to question him about it later...

Thel jumped from his cockpit and activated his sword. He sprinted for one of them weaving in and out of the others' attacks. He grabbed one of the creatures by the throat, growled at it and decapitated it throwing the head at another of them, that demon whimpered and then yelped loudly as Thel plunged his sword through it's spin, black innards spilling from the exit wound.
Thel turned just in time to swat another demon from the air with his sword as it lunged for his chest. The plasma cut through the demon's flesh easily.
Thel could only see a few more of these rabid creatures.

Dante watched the rest of the demon dogs dimwittedly group together. He leaped up into the air above them, turning upside down. Quickly aiming, he let loose a barrage of gunfire from his pistols, dropping all of them with headshots. Landing light on his feet, Dante holstered his guns with a smirk at the others.

Yami's dragon evaporated at the end of the battle, he offered no triumphant exclamations or 'brothers-in-arms' type smiles. The proud Pharaoh was beginning to tire of Dante's arrogance. He'd never say as such though, not when Yugi pleaded him silently not to.
So he relinquished the body back to its owner, letting Yugi take control once more.
"Nice job guys!" he exclaimed.

"Sfoggiare..." Fiora muttered under her breath, retracting her blades.
She looked to Yugi then though, expression curious.
"You are a mysterious one, Piccolo," she said, raising an eyebrow.
"One moment you seem like a lost boy, then the next, a fearsome warrior..."

Thel didn't care what his company was like so long as they didn't get in the way. He walked over deactivating his sword and holstering it.

"Oh... uh..." Yugi mused, rubbing the back of his head. He didn't want to frighten her, but there was no point hiding the truth either. "There's... sort of two of me," he explained slowly.
"The other me lives in here," he tapped the puzzle, "and comes to my aid whenever I'm in trouble."
