Shattered Dimensions

[Tifa Lockhart]

Once Yugi was confident Dante wasn't going to attack the creature, he moved aside, scooting off to a safe distance.

Fiora huffed a sigh, shaking her head.
"Idiota..." she grumbled under her breath.
She was really starting to think she should just ditch this motley crew already...

[Renegade]

Thel did not speak - he could, his translator device was two way, but he chose not to. He deactivate his sword cutting himself in the leg before he did. Suddenly he looked up looking surprised immediately activated it again running at the spiky headed creature. He thrushes his sword at him passing just over his hair, a red sticky substance that bubbled and spat burst at him. The demon behind Yugi died instantly as the plasma sword pierced it's skull. He deactivated it again and walked away.

[Elario Luminus]

Dante watched on as the alien skewered a demon after cutting his own leg. He raised an eyebrow and looked at the woman, shrugging.
'The hell was that all about?'
Then the alien walked off. 'Hey, Martian! We ain't done with you!'

[Tifa Lockhart]

Yugi was far more surprised. The alien - if that's what it was - had just saved his life. He could even hear Yami swearing in his head. It had been a very close call, and if the alien hadn't notice, then he would have been zooming off to join his friends in whatever existed beyond this world.
"Wait!" he called, turning to run over the alien, skittering around to stand in front of it. He then dipped into a respectful bow. "Thankyou!"
He waited a moment or two before straightening again.
"My name is Yugi... I owe you my life!"

Fiora frowned, but now she was curious too. She had to know about this creature. Who knew - maybe she could report some of her findings back to whatever remained of her brotherhood, if she ever found them. Whatever it was, she found herself following after the young boy, still cautious, not only of the creature, but of their surroundings. One distraction was all it took for them to get in their last mess...

[Renegade]

Thel's frustration spiked and he turned around to be an inch in front on the red creature's face - and about 30cm above, he had to bend.
But I with you! You act like a warrior, I will give you that, but you lack the true spirit of a warrior. Leadership! It is obvious these people follow you for strength only for you have nothing else it would seem. Were it not for me, this one would be dead" he pointed a finger at Yugi "So I will take my leave as I wish! I WILL not take orders from such dishonor!"I
He turned away again but stopped to hear the other creature's thank you. He dipped his head
"My name is Thel Vadamee. We are even." Thel walked away again.

[Elario Luminus]

Dante put his hands up in the air in front of him.
'Hey big guy, calm down. I wasn't ordering you around. And nobody said I was leading them. I actually left my shop on my own today.'

[Tifa Lockhart]

Yugi really disliked the bickering that was going on... it was kind of stupid.
"We're standing in the midst of the end of the world and you're ARGUING?" he demanded.

[The Painted Lady]

Fiora folded her arms.
"Who said I was following anyone?" she muttered.
She sighed then.
"Piccolo is right," she said, glancing to the spiky-haired child.
"This is kind of ridiculous."

[Renegade]

Thel stopped. He had scouted he whole area, but he could learn more from these beings.
He turned and stood looking at the girl. "Hm. I agree. I will join you. Our survival chances will be increased. Though, why? My ship is in disrepair and I cannot leave and this whole place is destroyed. What are we to do?"

[Elario Luminus]

Dante shrugged. 'I left for a leisurely stroll outta the shop to nowhere cause I was bored. Now this whole party's happened, and it seems like I need to have an objective all of a sudden? Puh-lease. If whatever we do lets me take out some more of those bottom dwellers, I'm happy.' Dante grinned a debonair grin and winked cheerily.
'Just let me do what I do better than anyone else.'

[Tifa Lockhart]

Yugi looked at his toes. Now it seemed they were discussing their reasons for banding together. Did he even have a reason? No, he didn't think so...
"It's to stay alive Yugi," he heard Yami say, and he looked beside him, forgetting that the others would probably see him stare into an empty place.
"What's the point in that... all my friends are gone..." Yugi replied, his heart tight in his chest.
"Please don't talk like that Yugi," Yami pleaded, his ghostly expression soft in Yugi's mind's eye. "It will all be alright... just trust me."
Yugi nodded - as if to himself - and looked back at the rest of the group.
"We don't have anywhere else to go..." he announced, accidentally slipping into his plural pronoun again as he sometimes did. "We wouldn't even know what to do if we did..."
He glanced over at the woman, confused as to her apparent nickname for him.
"We're curious..."
"'I'm', yugi. 'I'm' curious," he heard Yami correct him.
"Oh, Um... I mean, I'm curious, what does 'Piccolo' mean?"
Yami was a little internally worried about Yugi... the boy had begun to lose sight of the boundary between the two of them. He'd begun talking about them as 'we' a lot, grouping them together as the one being. Yugi had often voiced concerns of losing track of himself to his friends... but they'd kept 'Yugi' grounded and separate from Yami. Without them... that boundary seemed to be failing.

[The Painted Lady]

Fiora laughed quietly at the boy's question, placing her hands on her hips and leaning forward to be on his level.
"Piccolo means little one," she teased, tapping the end of his nose with a gentle fingertip.
The woman clearly wasn't shy. Besides, she felt a little sorry for someone so small being on their own...

[Renegade]

"I don't care what we do but we should keep moving. My ship is close by, i must go there and retrieve something. Follow. Or don't. I care not."
