[Renegade]

Sam shrugged, suddenly quieter.
"Yeah. But hopefully not."he looked out the window. "My name is Samael. Call me Sam. So we are about a week away for Insulem. I need to stop into BorderKeep. Which is on the border of Sorym and Perterym just north of the mountain ranges there. I have someone I need to check- Someone I need to see."

[Tifa Lockhart]

Lua remained silent at first, making it look like she had no intention of introducing herself. Then, slowly, she turned her body to face them all, her expression unreadable, but not at all coarse.
"You may call me Lua," she said, keeping it short and simple. "There is little else to know."

[Yuffie Kisaragi]

"Well, it's nice to meet you all!" Naiah called back, keeping her eyes ahead at the road. "As for BorderKeep, I'll make sure we stop there, Sam" she then replied, settling comfortably in the seat, keeping the reigns looped over her wrist, so she was prepared for any danger.

[Elario Luminus]

Alario nodded in greeting to the female noble -mage type, then promptly laid back and rested with his hands behind his head, quickly falling asleep as he did so.

Sam looked out of the window, he could see Borderkeep on the horizon. Borderkeep was a stronghold in the start of this age. When Sorym and Perterym started to rebuild, they began fighting over the Crooked Mines of the Red Mountains, to answer this Sorym built the stronghold to defend their mine, though Perterym fought for it and took it back. For five years they fought over it until 7A 008 when the mine was over-run by Dragons and other beasts hiding from hunters struggling to find food. For a few weeks the two countries continued to fight each other until they came to a truce, and instead decided trading with each other would be more efficient. Perterym stocked from the east while, Sorym from the western countries, and so they turned Borderkeep into a trading town.
Borderkeep had certain 'items' that no where else had, and so were sold at a premium, which attracted many rich people, and rich people attract thieves and other 'undesirables'.
As Sam and the others approached, Sam could see a large fenced off areas full of small sheds, when that past there were many small buildings, houses and a lot of shops. Sam got Naiah to stop at a pub called the 'Swinging Arms'.
Sam got out and walked towards the door, where two men were talking very loudly, and stumbling around - Sam tried to walk pass them inconspicuously. One of them men noticed him and grabbed his sleeve, he pulled it away, which sent the man stumbling back, falling on his ass. The other man, for some reason, seemed offended and tried to stop him by doing the same thing, the man who had just falling rushed in front of him barring his way, he then swung at Sam.
Sam's eyes narrowed, he reversed the 'hold' the man had on him and grabbed the man's wrist pulling him and himself down, effectively dodging the punch at the same time, Sam rolled to his feet and grabbed the other man by the throat. "Billy, must we do this every time?"
"Huh? S-Sham?" the man said.
"Where's Bronwyn?"
"Shiz inshide, be-hick-behind deh bar."
Sam walked inside.

Bronwyn looked up when she heard the voice at the door. She propped a hand on her hips and quirked an eyebrow.
"About time you showed up," she scolded.

Naiah had gone to see that Aldamir was stabled well and then had headed immediately to the market to obtain some goods to take with her to Insulem for trade. She also needed to buy extra supplies given she had others traveling with her now.

'Fix' woke with a start, quickly wiping up the embarrassing puddle of his drool that had pooled on the table, He blinked and made to move, knocking his forgotten mug of ale on the the floor "it's ok, I izz mine dont move to,err touch , he fumbled with the jug, dropping it again and this time it smashed "sorry,im is sorry", the bartender rolled her eyes at him, before heading off to fetch a cloth, Fix slumped back in his chair, his eyes slowly rolled towards the opening bar door, the alcohol seemed to completely leave his system and 'Fix' quickly ducked beneath the table "its ok 'Fix',your drunk and seeing funny things" he told himself, while peeking above the table. Sam was not a man you stole money from and wanted to see again, 'Fix' crawled for the exit.

[Elario Luminus]

Alario woke when the cart had stopped, and had gotten out quickly, lest he unintentionally let someone else get the drop on him. Grabbing rifle and sword from the dirty floor of the cart, the mercenary walked over to a shadowy area and placed his weapons on a windowsill nearby. There he started to train his magic along with his hand-to-hand combat, sending small bursts of fire around him as he flicked his fists and feet around.

Sam looked at Bronwyn in the eyes and smirked. "You know me, I ran into some trouble." He shrugged.
He looked around the Swinging Arms, his 'home away from home'. He had spent more time here then in Insulem, childhood included, and knew all the regulars.
Sam walked over to Bronwyn and hugged her. "I have some...Companions." Sam then explained what had happened.
"I can't remember a thing after that bastard shocked me, and suddenly these people were so readily available to come with me... They saved me life, but I'm not sure I trust them."

[Tifa Lockhart]

Bronwyn readily returned Sam's hug, but looked a little concerned when he explained everything that had happened.
"A mysterious Mage, a mercenary and a trader huh?" she clarified, frowning softly. "I'd be being careful..."
Her eyes then flicked abruptly to the door and she looked furious.
"Don't you DARE leave this bar without paying you leech!" she yelled at Fix, who crawled for the door.

[Yuffie Kisaragi]

Having finished the market-work, Naiah headed back in the direction of the inn, which was quite some way across the town. Most of her goods she had made arrangements to have delivered to her cart with old friends from her previous visits to the town, so she wasn't carrying that much with her.

Alario had long finished training, and had walked inside the inn, ordered a drink and was now waiting for it, feet up on the table.
