Delilah was confused. What was all that supposed to mean? And why had the Guardian blushed again? She stood after a small hesitation.

"Of course." Aether replied, turning away from the wall. He didn't move towards her though, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable. "You shant even know i'm there." He dipped into a little bit of a bow.

Aether seemed a little surprised at first, but then he smiled lightly.
"Alright, lead the way." He said, approaching her now.

Delilah blushed a little, holding her arms, before leading the way out to the palace gardens.

Aether lingered a little behind Delilah for the time being, giving her space so that she might enjoy her walk. His eyes were set on their surroundings, making sure there was no one high nor low that might want to hurt the Countess. Her choice to go to the palace gardens was a good one, there were plenty of guards there and Aether was certain she would be safe.
The gardens were beautiful and tranquil, with fountains and streams. Some of the trees there were ancients, their power radiating in the air around them in the form of tiny dancing lights. Aether marveled at them.

Delilah sighed contently, pausing to soak in the view for a moment.

"I haven't been here." Aether replied with a laugh, assuming that she'd made the comment because she wanted a reply. "Its beautiful." He continued to eye up the closest tree, enjoying the calming aura it put out.

Aether shook his head, "As an arc... whenever my business is here, it is usually with the monarchs.... so i don't get leisure time." A strange expression washed over his features then, "And before that i... never came to the palace."

Delilah smiled, turning to lead the way. First stop was the rectangular pool at the front of the garden. It was relatively shallow, and silver coins were scattered across its floor.
"When the Garden was opened to the public, the people used to throw coins in the pool. For luck my father used to tell me..."

Aether eyed the silver sparkles in the pool with great interest.
"What a curious way to ask for luck..." He mused, turning his intrigued amethyst eyes on to Delilah, "Why were the gardens closed off?"
