The door creaked open and a young maid tottered in, her hair done up in a tight bun, her dress covered in a neat pinnifore.
"A-Are you OK my lady?" She asked nervously, hugging the box she carried against her chest.

"M-My Lady?" The maid said timidly, putting her box down on the nearest table before she approached the side of the bed, "Fear is proof you'll do a good job i say." She said, her voice gaining a little bit of confidence. "My pa always said that people who are confident, make stupid mistakes." She nodded matter-of-factly.

"Oh Miss!" The maid gasped, seeming to remember something, "Lady Ariel gave me something for you this morning." She dashed over to the box and opened it, withdrawing a beautiful sapphire blue gown.
"She told me to tell you that looking the part is part of feeling comfortable with the part." The maid smiled warmly.

((Well, I think we were quite keen on the 'forbidden love' angle. But we also need to go through Delilah's struggles to run a kingdom and Conrad's recovery. I think the King's funeral may be first on the cards though...))
