Yuna, Aerith & Tifa

[The Painted Lady]

Tidus did his best to listen to Cid and stay in his seat. The force behind the ship was rather surprising. He looked out the window, watching Spira disappear.
"Huh... sure looks small from here, doesn't it?..."

Aerith looked shocked at Zack's words. What was he trying to do? Before she could intervene, Tseng reacted. The Turk turned around with gritted teeth, eyes blazing, his fist meeting Zack square in the jaw. Without giving his friend so much as a checking glance, he stormed from the room, gripping his throbbing knuckles with his other hand.

[Yuna Braska]

Yuna looked out the window to Spira was and frowned. "We are a bit small aren't we.". This made Yuna think about the mission now. This people were is so much trouble that they needed help from other planets. Yuna didn't think anyone one should be in such situation in which her homeland was. And if this 'thing' were to hurt more than this planet. Yuna would feel like she has not done enough to help save her home.

Cloud was a bit concerned when Tifa was gulping down her drink quickly, giving a sad sigh at the end of her long sip. He looked at her now dull eyes that had been drained of their shine from all her crying. Taking a small sip of his water, Cloud was not sure of what to say. He didn't know how to comfort her in any way apart from a hug. " Umm, Is there anything else i can grab you?" Cloud asked wondering.

[Tifa Lockhart]

Tifa shook her head a smiled gently, clutching her empty glass in tight hands before she pushed it away from her.
"I'm sorry to worry you." She said, noticing how his eyes watched her intently, she looked at her hands as they clenched in her lap, "I just keep thinking..." She trailed off and shook her head, not wanting to worry him further, "Nevermind." She looked up at him with a small smile.

"Even the small can make a great contribution in the grand scheme of things." Paine said as she approached Yuna casually, arms folded.

Zack was almost taken by surprise as Tseng punched his jaw, he was sent careering over backwards and lay staring at the star spangled ceiling for several long moments before he forced himself to sit, clutching his already bruising jaw.
"Oooooow." He groaned, working his jaw opened and closed, "Yup, that's broken." He grumbled through a stiff jaw, "Nice hit though." He knew he was speaking too himself, "I deserved it."

Aerith was torn about whether to go after Tseng or stay with Zack. After a quick decision, influenced by Zack's groaning, she moved to sit in front of him on his lap, her knees either side of his legs.
"Yes you did," Aerith said firmly.
"Now hold still," she instructed, taking his jaw in her hand gently, releasing her magic to heal it.
Aerith clearly wasn't happy with Zack's help at all. All the same, she planted a gentle kiss on his lips once she had finished her spell.
"You better hope he's still here somewhere."

"Nice philosophy," Tidus grinned.

Yuna looked up to Paine when she spoke suddenly. She gave a small smile and nodded. "I suppose your right" She looked back out the window to her home, that she might not see again until this situation is under control. She was going to miss it.

Cloud raised his head slightly when Tifa spoke, she was saying sorry to him? Cloud felt like he was the one to apologize, not her. He adjusted himself in his seat and looked into her deep eyes again. " Tifa..." He said her name ever so softly. "What is it..?"

"I achieved my aim at least." Zack mused, massaging his jaw which he knew would still bruise nicely, he kind of wanted it too, it might help boost Tseng's confidence when he saw the number he'd done on Zack's face XD "There was method in the madness Aerith." He blinked, still a little dazzled as Aerith shifted briefly out of focus.
"Now he's angry at me instead of himself. Hopefully that means he wont wallow, instead he'll take that next step forward."

Tifa blushed slightly and wrung her hands as his deep blue eyes burned with an intencity that urged her to speak. "Well... do you ever think we'll ever get the chance to be tog-" She stopped briefly and altered what she was going to say, "Truely happy? The planet seems to keep wanting to kick us in the guts just when people are beginning to get to their feet again."

"Yeah... and hopefully it also means that you haven't destroyed the trust and friendship between you two," Aerith said bluntly.
She took his hands gently.
"Think you could stand up without swaying? We have to find him..."

((Skip with the X crew sending a signal to Gaia as the Planet comes into view?))

Cloud paused for a moment, thinking for a moment about her question. He looked down to his water and shrugged slightly. "I am not positively sure, I guess... you have to have faith." Cloud said breaking up the sentence, not really sure on how to answer her question. He didn't know himself whether that he could bring out the faith if his home is destroyed again, though it's good to have something to dream about, right?

Yuna had fallen asleep upon Tidus's shoulder after a while of flying. Gippal had retired to the cabin's and Rikku was still remaining in her seat, her head jolting up every few minutes at the loud noise that would sound when she leaned on her controls counter. Cid looked around at the crew and had to laugh to himself. "They never last long trips these girls... thats why men fly the ship" Cid said pointing to himself. Buddy looked to Cid and shook his head. "You have too much of a obsession to even let anyone else fly this ship. It's not the girls fault that they are dosing off. You gave them nothing to do" Buddy responded as he looked around the bridge.

Paine detested the over-generalization as she sat wide-awake in her seat, nearly dying of boredom.
"You're lucky Yuna is asleep, or your sexist remarks would not be taken well." She said casually, her voice flat as usual.

"Yeah i'm fine." Zack sighed, getting to his feet, he realised he'd jeopardized his friendship with Tseng, but he'd already assessed those things anyway before he started having a go at the turk.
"He can't really value me that much anyway." Zack said with a slight slur, "and i don't recall there being that much trust, he never told me shit."

Aerith sighed.
"Tseng doesn't tell anyone anything Zack," she said. "You should know that by now..."
She touched his bruise gently.
"It doesn't mean he doesn't trust you... nor does it mean he doesn't value your friendship."
She tugged his hand.
"Now, come on."

Tidus stroked Yuna's cheek tenderly as she slept, adjusting his position, resting his head atop hers.

Cid felt a shiver go up his spine when he heard Paine speak from behind him. "What the girl doesn't know what hurt her"
Buddy turned when Gippal entered the Bridge again. "Sleep well?" He asked.
Gippal yawned and made his way down the stairs only to look with a rather dismantled look on his face towards the large window at the front of the ship. "Is that it?" Gippal asked pointing to the large planet that was slowly getting into view as he finished off his yawn. Cid nodded and took down a lever that was beside him, which slowed the Celsius down a bit. "Was just about to get you to send a message to warn them of our arrival." Cid answered.
Gippal looked around the crew and saw that Rikku and Yuna were asleep, Tidus slowly following as he leaned on Yuna.
"Right Paine.. work the recording would you. You've always been good at that" He asked giving a crooked smile towards the girl before heading over to one of the desks on the edge of the bridge.

"Someone has to stay and mind the communications center." Zack protested, pulling slightly against Aerith's hold, "I've already messed things up at your request so i'll just stay out and stay here eh?" He folded his arms.

Paine blinked and shook her head.
"You're the boss." She said with a dark smirk, "You like being in charge, so take charge." She turned and left the bridge without another word, proving that no matter what they said, she wasn't doing it.

Tifa wasn't so sure about thinking positivly anymore... she'd been trying, and every time it seemed to blow up in her face.
"Alright." She replied though, not wanting to worry Cloud with uncharacteristic negativity. "We'll do what we can, right?"

Aerith sighed heavily, letting go of his hands to hold her head.
"Zack, don't blame me just because I thought you were the best person for Tseng to talk to, man-to-man."
She took a step back, closing her eyes. Everything was really starting to get to her. So many problems, so much stress. Aerith was struggling to keep positive.
"You should go after him... I'll stay here..."

Tidus blinked sleepily as he heard the conversation around him.
"Almost there?" he yawned.

Gippal rubbed the back of his head in confusion, though shrugging it off with a flick of his arms. "Pfft.. woman" He commented before heading over to the recorder. Rikku jumped from her chair with a waking snort before noticing that Gippal was in the room, she laughed at herself before sitting back down, embarrassed.
"Yer in a little under an hour" Gippal replied to this small voice that came from the other side of the bridge before turning on his computer.

Gippal, Machina leader of Spira contacting Gaia. We have you in sight and will be landing in approximately forty five minutes. Airship Celsius docking in at nearest possible to those we have had contact with. More instructions required.
Yuna was only half asleep at this time, moving slightly to get more comfortable on Tidus.

Cloud finished off his water and nodded. "Right..." responding with a slightly lower tone than before. He looked to Tifa's glass that was empty and was contimplating whether or not to allow her to have another drink, though perhaps if she wanted one more, it wouldn't hurt. "Another one?" Cloud asked gesturing to her empty glass.

Tifa stared at her glass for several moments, debating whether or not she ought to have another one. In the end she shook her head, she'd never been good at holding her liquor.
"No thankyou, i'm alright now." She smiled warmly.

Zack just about to grump about Aerith's instructions and storm off when he heard the message come through. He was testy, and knew it would probably come through in his message, but he walked over to the computer and hit the transmit button, homing in on the signal that had sent the previous one.
"Zack Fair Supreme Commander of the Domestic SOLDIER Squad, Message received. We will be expecting you in dock 52 in Junon Airbase at these coordinates." He forwarded Junon's coordinates to them.
He turned from the computer to Aerith, trying to keep his temper in check.
"When Cloud gets back have him find Kunsel's squad and head down to Dock 52. If i'm not back by the time they arrive, go with Cloud." He turned to leave, "I'll go see if i can fix my mess." His tone was still short but much calmer and he stalked off to look for the Turk, suddenly conscious of the massive bruise on the side of his face.
