Yuna, Aerith & Tifa

[The Painted Lady]

Aerith just nodded, moving back to sit on the crates again. She gripped her head, not uttering a word.

"Right, so we're strapping in for landing now, right?" Tidus asked.
"... Think they'll all have green skin or something?"

[Yuna Braska]

Yuna chuckled even though she was suppose to be asleep >.>. She rolled slightly on Tidus's chest with her eyes still closed whispering lightly. "Guess you never know"
Rikku suddenly got so much more excited. "Oh! and little antennas and three fingers, and big heads with huge eyes!" She spoke imitating each of the characteristics with her arms. Gippal was hold the speakers to his ears so he could hear the latest message that was coming through. It was hard to hear over Rikku. Cid looked to his daughter and gave her a good whack behind the head. "You silly stereotyping girl"
"Hey!" Rikku moaned as she moved away hold her head. "You big meanie"

Cloud was thankful that she didn't want another drink. "Should we return back then?" He asked getting off of his chair and offering Tifa a hand up. He was glad that she had stopped crying, it looks like she needed the drink. Cloud needed the time away so it was good for the both of them.

Tifa took Cloud's hand very gently in her own, trying to hide how she blushed gently as she got to her feet.
"Let's hurry."

Zack took a while to find Tseng, but eventually he found the Turk standing out on the observation deck where Rufus' offices had once been when this was a Shinra controlled airbase. The SOLDIER paused a while behind him, sighing heavily.
Why did Aerith think he was good at talking to people? Slowly he approached, moving to stand silently beside the Turk, not sure what to say yet, so he'd let the Turk have a chance to have a go first before he started trying to fix things.

Tidus laughed, hugging Yuna's shoulders gently.
"Aw, let the girl have an imagination Cid."

Tseng was silent for a long time. He didn't twitch or stiffen at Zack's approach and he stared out across at nothing in particular. There were no sign of tears, past or pending, and his expression was rather blank. It was as if he hadn't even noticed Zack there, but then...
"Why her?" he asked in his quiet voice, only almost emotionless as usual.

Gippal pulled out a chip from the hard drive and walked over to and it to Cid. "Here are coordinates, some place called Junon" He spoke as Rikku came and stood beside him.
"You getting excited Gippal?" She asked with her hips slightly rocking. Gippal turned to the girl and tapped her soft nose.
"I'm excited about beating the crap out of an alien and winning a bet off you" Rikku pouted and gave a huff.
"Who said you were going to win."
Yuna opened her eyes slightly and watched the argument which Rikku and Gippal were once again going into.
"Right kids, strap down again. Where passing through to their Atmosphere." Cid yelled to them all as he took another leaver down.

Cloud returned to the old communicator to hope to find them still there, though he only saw Aerith when he peered through the doors. He looked to Tifa once before openign the door to enter.

Tifa rushed in once Cloud opened the door, frowning at how distressed Aerith looked.
"Aerith? Are you alright?" She questioned, kneeling down beside the Cetra woman, placing a hand on her back.

"You know..." Paine began as she re-entered the bridge to find herself a seat ready for their entry, "Anyone would think you two were flirting or something." She said to Rikku and Gippal, a sly smile cracking her otherwise motionless lips as she did her buckle up and casually faced the front of the ship.

Zack was dead silent until Tseng spoke, feeling one of the many knots in his stomach loosen, at least the Turk was speaking to him now.
"I really don't know man." He replied, shaking his head, "Right at this moment there's a great number of people all saying the same thing... why her, why me, why them, why now? I've said the same things myself many times during my life, but it doesn't matter how long you stand asking why, you're never gonna know." He turned his head to look at the Turk now, the spreading black bruise on his jaw now showing, he'd purposely stood on the side of Tseng where it wouldn't be as obvious.
"It stinks, i understand. You've got every right to miss her, to wish you'd done something differently... i understand that..." His voice was somber and his blue eyes were remembering the flames and the screaming he'd spent so many years fighting into the back of his head, "But you can't stay down, you've gotta get back on your feet, for her, and for yourself but you don't have to do it on your own."

Aerith forced a smile, looking up to Tifa.
"I'm fine... Zack said for Cloud to take Kunsel's squad to Dock 52. The airship is about to land..."

Tseng was silent again for a long time.
"I think... I need more time..." he finally said quietly.
After another pause, he looked up, a very tiny smirk twitching at his lips for a split second.
"I got you good."

"Aye Captain!" Tidus replied with a grin.

Cloud walked in straight behind Tifa though looked to the computer after Aerith said she was ok, they apparently got another message. "Right, you two will be ok here?" Cloud asked before he was going to go find Kunsel.

Gippal paused but then started laughing at Paine's comment. Rikku followed. "Oh Paine.. you know you will be the one and only dark and vicious woman for me." He teased as he walked up to the girl and ruffled her hair before giving her a very big kiss on the side of her cheek as a joke. He knew Paine wouldn't react as Rikku would of, but it was funny for him. Rikku folded her arms as she got herself strapped in muttering to herself. "Hump, i can be dark and vicious."
Yuna sat up from Tidus and locked herself in as soon enough the Airship began to speed down into the atmosphere of Gaia.

"Maybe we'll come with you?" Tifa suggested, squeezing Aerith in a gentle hug, "Unless you want to stay here?" She asked the pink-clad woman.

Paine swatted at Gippal lightly as he ruffled her hair, and went tense as he kissed her. Soon though she was rolling her eyes, he was such an arrogant so and so sometimes.
"Don't get any funny ideas Gippal." She growled, not looking at him.

"You can take all the time you need buddy... just don't forget." Zack replied, his expression serious.
It changed though when the Turk mentioned 'getting him good'. He reached up to touch the bruise on his face, he grinned broadly.
"Sure did, you busted it and everything." He feinted a mimic of Tseng's punch to his jaw, "I think Aerith only fixed me up so i could apologise." He brushed the back of his head awkwardly. "Y'know i didn't mean any of that junk don't you? I bet you feel better for punching someone... even if it was me."

Aerith gave a small smile, shaking her head.
"Zack wanted me to go down too..." she said quietly.

"Maybe a little..." Tseng replied, but the smirk didn't return.
It was hard to be happy.

Cloud gave a smile and opened the door for the two ladies and giving a nod. "Fine with me" Cloud agreed trying to think of where Kunsel was at the moment.

The Celsius was having difficulties getting through the thick Atmosphere of Gaia then compared to that of Spira's. The ship had to avoid many areas that may have to much pressure just in case some of the engines collapse. Yuna looked out the window to the planet below and already she could see much differences between this one and her world. It was much darker and not much could be seen. Yuna was beginning to get a bit worried, though she was stay strong.

As if he knew someone was looking for him, Kunsel happened to be walking past, and when he spotted Cloud he stopped to wave.
"Hey man, what's happening?" He said as he approached them, "Hey Aerith, Tifa."

Zack gave a sad smile and sighed, giving Tseng a light brotherly punch in the arm, "We're here for you man. Why don't you come down and greet these new-comers with me?"

Tifa smiled a greeting to Kunsel, staying close by Aerith, pretty sure her friend was in need of some serious comfort.

"Hi Kunsel," Aerith said softly.
Her expression was still lacking her usual bright disposition as she greeted the sandy-blonde.
"We were actually just looking for you. Zack wants your squad down at Dock 52 to welcome our foreign visitors."

Tseng paused again, but then looked up to Zack and nodded.
"Let's not keep them waiting."

Cloud smiled lightly when Kunsel appearance. "Well that was convenient. " He said before Aerith explained. "They should be arriving soon"

The Celsius broke through the last layer of Atmosphere before dropping below the clouds to reveal the planet in more detail. It was as dark as it looked from the outside, and it was hard to recognize any sort of settlement. Yuna got up from her chair when the ship began to slow as they skimmed across the surface. Yuna walked more towards the window looking out to the new planet. Rikku watched as the barren land below ran below them at a fast past.
"Umm, where are heading again" She asked. Cid was silent for a moment before answering his daughter.
"Not far from here."

Zack nodded and turned, waiting for Tseng before the two of them headed down to Dock 52 where he hoped the others would already be waiting.

Kunsel looked surprised.
"Foreigners? Like as in, off-world Foreign? Sweet! My boys and i'll meet you down there." He waved quickly, gave Aerith a stupid grin, hoping she'd smile, and then hurried off to find his squad.

"I don't think i'll ever get used to him." Tifa mused with a light frown, "Guess we should head for Dock 52 then?"
