Yuna, Aerith & Tifa

[The Painted Lady]

Aerith held out her hand for Zack to take, to urge him closer. Tseng didn't look up from the floor.
"Tseng, I know you have your inhibitions, but I want you to talk to Zack..."
She knew that the Turk struggled to vent to her at best, but she felt maybe Zack could approach him in a different way. She squeezed Tseng's hand gently.
"You two are close... surely you can talk to him."
She looked up to Zack, hoping for help.

"So help us..." Tidus laughed.
"Still not too late for us to jump ship is it Gippal?"

Yuna send a quick message to Lulu through the recorder and sent it off, before swinging around on her chair to face the conflict, she simply smiled and went to join the girls team. "Gull wings all the way" Yuna said enthusiastically giving a Hi five to her cousin.
Gippal leaned into Tidus and went to speak but before he could Cid walked through to the Bridge giving a giant clap of the hands. "Too late now" Gippal replied with a heavy laugh.

Cloud gave a sigh and shook his head. "I know.." he spoke to Tifa as he let her sob on his arm, his hand slowly reaching up to wipe the tears that were on her cheek.

Tifa wrapped her arms around Cloud's waist and just enjoyed his comfort.

Zack looked a little bewildered at first. He wasn't good at the whole venting anguish thing himself... usually he just hit things....
Then it struck him. He'd never once seen the turk get angry.
"Alright Tseng. Come with me." He said looking at Aerith and winking, all previous jealousy gone from his expression, "I'm going to help you face this my way, we'll see if it works for you." He gestured for the dark-haired Turk to follow him, moving just a short way away from Aerith and gesturing for Tseng to stand in front of him.

Aerith gave Tseng a gentle nudge, making the Turk get up to obediently follow Zack and stand where he wanted him to be. Aerith stayed seated on the crates, just watching.

Tidus snapped his fingers and laughed too.
"I guess us men will just have to stick together."

Gippal laughed with surprise "Oh but you are just a boy" Gippal said before grabbing hold of Tidus's head and roughing up his blonde hair. Cid scaled the stairs and jabbed Gippal in the ribs to let Tidus go. "Oy! There be none of that on my ship!"[/]b He spoke before heading over to Buddy. "We are set navigator?" Cid asked before passing a chip for the directions to Buddy.
"Everything is packed, checked, double checked and locked secure." Buddy answered plugging in the chip into his hardware. Cid turned to the crew and shook his head. "Here we go again" Rikku pouted at the comment.

Cloud stood with Tifa for a while in the corridor, but then realized that maybe it be best if they were doing something productive. They couldn't just stand in the corridor all day waiting for Tifa to stop crying, Cloud wanted her to stop as soon as possible, even though it was a good thing to release your sadness. "Umm..Do you want to go get a drink?" Cloud asked Tifa who was still tearing on his sleeve with his hand on her cheek, letting her rest on it.

Tifa straightened and wiped her eyes with her hand.
"Alright... drink sounds good." She smiled at him softly.

Zack shook his arms a little and stretched.
"Alright Tseng. I want you to hit me." He said, waving at himself.

Aerith watched Zack approach carefully. She wasn't sure about this whole 'solution through violence thing', but she waited for it to play out. She'd just have to trust Zack's judgment.

Tseng frowned just a tiny bit. He shook his head.
"No," he said flatly.

Tidus shoved Gippal off and flattened his hair, shaking his head with a laugh, moving off to find Yuna.

Cloud smiled back at the sight of her slightly happier grin. He gave a nod and guided Tifa forward with his hand still wrapped around her waist. "We can come back later..." Cloud said quietly hoping that the atmosphere will be a bit less stressful.

Yuna looked to her friends and turned to them. "Are we ready to leave" She said enthusiastically clapping her hands together in a fist in front of her. Rikku threw her hands in the air and grabbed Paine's hands as well jiggling them around with her own. "Oh Yer!"
Gippal pumped the air and quickly but suspiciously took up Rikku's chair for the time when they launch. "Lets get going!"
Cid rubbed one of his eyes and laughed at their enthusiasm.

Paine rolled her eyes, trying to look as enthusiastic as possible, but failing rather badly.
"Just take off already." She grumbled.

Tifa smiled and nodded, "Of course we can. They all just need a moment." She squeezed Cloud gently, leaning in against him.

Zack looked exasperated when Tseng refused to hit him.
"Do you plan on fighting Tseng? Working to get justice? I know it's not really much of a retribution, but wouldn't you feel better knowing you'd done something for her?" He let an eyebrow rise, "I can only imagine how you're feeling, but you must be burning up somewhere deep inside" He punched his hand into his other hand, "You can't let it fester into some horrible monster, it will eat away at you forever and you'll do nothing but feel rotten for the rest of your life." He knew the Turk would have a lot of anger built up in him somewhere and they needed to get it out, "There's lots of ways to vent anger before it can destroy you, this is my way, you might find one for yourself, but you can't let it build up." He tapped his chest again.
"Let it out Tseng, don't bottle it up. Now hit me."

Tidus laughed as he saw Gippal take up Rikku's chair. That was sure to cause some trouble later...
He took Yuna's hand again, leading her to a chair like the gentleman he was.

Tseng simply folded his arms. It seemed he could still be stubborn even when he was emotionally distraught.
"I'm not hitting you Zack."

"Aright kids, hold on .. five minutes to boot up the engine then we are off." Cid explained as a large screen raised up from his podium with may technical numbers flying across the green coloured board.
"Get out!" Rikku yelled impatiently trying to squeeze herself into the side of the chair and shove Gippal off. The Spira leader would not budge, but he was keeping the distressed girl under-control but restricting her hands.
"Oh for god sakes Gippal, give the child her god damn seat" Cid yelled towards the situation as he pressed the touch screen in front of him. Rikku smiled in her triumph and hopped into her seat when Gippal got out laughing.
Yuna smiled happily when Tidus was so polite to offer her a chair. She motioned for him to sit next to her as she didn't want to let go of his warm hand.

Cloud walked ahead of Tifa into a small bar where there were not so many people. He stopped to whisper down to her eve tough there was just the barman there. "Just water?" He asked with his eyes scanning over the room, classifying it as a quiet place to just sit and wait for Tifa to perhaps hep forget her tears for a moment, and to keep his own mind off things.

Zack knew he was going to have to push the Turk that little bit, but he knew he might feel better for it after.
"Alright, sit this one out then." He said with a shrug, "Not everyone's made for strength i guess. You were always a thinker rather than a doer anyway, you never act on impulse." He shrugged again and folded his arms, "So much thinking that things keep slipping through your fingers. When are you gonna man up and take what you want? Fight for something because your heart tells you too instead of always going in with your head!" He knew he was probably going about this in a bad way, but he'd never seen the Turk get angry before, not once, and he knew there would be years of pain stowed away, waiting to boil over. Tears could only help so far.

Tifa was thoughtful for a moment before she shook her head.
"Maybe... something a little stronger." She replied. Normally Tifa wasn't a drinker, but right now she felt like drowning her worries.

Even with Tseng's blank demeanor, it was clear Zack's words stung. Something changed in his eyes, but his arms didn't budge.
"Perhaps my head tells me what I need to hear," he said quietly, turning to move away.

"Tseng..." Aerith said softly, standing from the crates.

Tidus grinned, squeezing Yuna's hand as he sat beside her.
"Here we go, I guess."

Yuna nodded and shrugged her shoulders slightly to one side in a cute sort of way. "Yep" She responded giving Tidus another big squeeze of the hand. Cid pulled down a lever that shook the air ship sightly before the crew could feel the large machine slowly rising up out of the dock area. The crowd below watching curiously to the scene that was taking place.
"Right were set Cid" Buddy said when they were above the city of Home and in the direction of their destination... up. He gave his captain a thumbs up and then with a blink of an eye the ship took off into the bright sky. "If you fall out of your chair, hold onto something else cause I'm not slowing down!" Cid yelled back them with Yuna laughing with excitement in the background. Cid pushed down one more leaver and the Celsius sped off int te sky passing through the atmospheres into space.

Cloud frowned but nodded, "Alright". He walked over t the barman and order them a few drinks quietly. He just grabbed himself a water, not really wanting anything else. Sitting with Tifa at a table he leaned back staring out one of the windows. Looking to Tifa occasionally to see the same lifeless frown.

When Tifa got her glass from the barman she just sank into it, taking tiny sips one at a time and looking up to Cloud occasionally. There were still so many things on her mind that she'd always wanted to tell him, ask him, but she just couldn't do it. She muffled a sigh into her glass and took another small swig.

Zack frowned, knowing what he was about to do was going to hit hard. His eyes shifted slightly a look of remorse in them, he wished he didn't have to do this...
"Yeah well, see how far its gotten you in the past eh?" He said, the words slightly stilted like he didn't want to say them.

Paine braced herself casually as the ship rocketed forward, but a tiny smile crossed her face as adrenalin began to surge in her veins. This was going to be so much fun!
