The pot calling the kettle black is like um....
Well they're the same thing.
So say the pot mocks the kettle for being black, it's forgetting that it too is black.
A better example would be me mocking you for having wings.

It's hard enough controlling base instinct. Inflicting it on people is something I'd prefer not to do regularly. Life's not simple when you are cursed.
And don't worry about it. I'm used to being dejected from mankind. Why else would I hide my true self? It's safer if they think me normal. Gives me more strength to fight the urges.

Believe me, if I knew how to lift the curse, I'd be doing my utmost to lift it. I'm just going day by day, till I can find out how to alleviate myself from this terrible monster. But, at the same time, this has shown me to be what I always truly was. A spiteful, loathesome creature, back when I was still simply human. I learn more about myself than I thought I'd ever know, as the days pass. That's something, at least.
