Maybe you think Pearly Gates is a little hard to understand?
Well let me help you out
Pearly Gates is a role playing forum (it is now deactivated).
The forum's theme is heaven, but this has nothing to do with the roleplays - it's just the outer forum theme (Roleplay Heaven?
).
We currently cater to genres including fantasy, sci-fi, and video game roleplays.
1) The first step is to read up information on the roleplay you are interested in.
How to do this...
-To do this, have a look through the short roleplay descriptions on the main page listed in the boards 'fantasy roleplays', 'science fiction roleplays' and 'video game roleplays'.
-Take note of which board it is in and click on 'Information and Profiles' - the first board on the whole forum.
-Click 'Fantasy Information and Profiles' if the rolelpay you're interested was in the fantasy board, 'Science Fiction Information and Profiles' if it was in the Science Fiction Roleplays board, and so on.
-Click 'Archangel Information and Profiles' if Archangel is the roleplay that you're interested in, 'Assassin's Creed Information and Profiles' if it was the Assassin's Creed roleplay you were interested in, and so on.
This will bring up the information on that roleplay.
2) Secondly, you can post a profile if this is the roleplay you are most interested in. Follow any guidelines given on profile structure or, if you can't find any, then use the template others before you have used.
3) Once your character profile is accepted by the Roleplay Master, you are then ready to begin posting.
How to do this...
- Back on the main page, click on the bolded title of the roleplay you have made a character for. This will take you to the first page of the roleplay.
- You may choose to read through the roleplay to see how everything has progressed, or you may decide to just jump straight into it.
-To begin posting, travel to the last post made in the thread and either post in the 'quick reply' posting box at the bottom or click on the 'reply' hyperlink at the bottom right of the last post.
4) Have fun!
