Na' Kara walked slowly through the main rebel base as she headed towards the conference room, they were planning another attack on the imperials, and she needed to come. she had let her zoid, 'Terro', as she just called him, fly off to do its own thing, it often did that, but it always came back. I wonder what the plan is this time? she thought to herself as she continued wandering down the crowded halls of the base, the hangers were really busy right now thanks to the damage done to all their terraces last time they went into battle. Her zoid had to have a new laser put in because of that damn imperial. finally she reached the meeting room, where all the invited people were sitting, she sat in her seat and waited for a bit while the captain came into the room. "now, lets get this underway, shall we?"the captain began the meeting, apparently Na' Kara was to fly in and circle the enemy base and distract their main air forces and draw them off then take them out, so the rebel land forces wouldn't have any trouble after the imperials scramble air support, and therefore also depleting the distractions for her while she and the other air force attack the enemy ground troops, Na' Kara would then land and have her zoid help take out the last remaining enemy zoids while foot soldiers took out the generation for the imperials base, and then they would have it captured. why do i get the feeling that this, isn't going to work? Na' Kara thought to herself, all the troops were ready for the battle once the terraces were repaired and the air forces began to fly out.

Edward Yulez was a man of few words. He rode in his beloved Rayse and alongside him, the organoid Felix bounded along with him. Felix was a greenish pigmented dinosaur looking thing - a mechanical tool made to aid in controlling zoids and also making them stronger. Of course, Felix was not used often on the Rayse Tiger due to the fact that Edward was such a strong fighter, but Felix was a friend of both. Anyways, on this particular occasion, Edward was sifting through a former battle grounds - on the look-out for any decent parts. In an abandoned garage he was busy making a zoid...a Ptera Rayse - the fuzor companion to his Rayse Tiger. Due to the intense and complicated systematic building of this zoid, it'd probably take years to accomplish. That didn't stop Edward from trying though. He was downright determined. Being a loner, and not really for any sides - rebel or imperial - he just minded his own business. "Felix! Check that zoid over there, would you? The hellcat. It might have some decent weaponry." He called over the communicator that Felix was able to communicate through. "Yah. Right there." The small dino-looking zoid wandered over to the fallen hellcat and sifted through the wreckage - coming up completely dry. "Ugh, at this rate, I doubt I'll have anything decent to sell for some cash..."
General Tiegs Grange was a lively fellow - contrary and contradictory to his stereotype. Usually, generals are seen as intense, battle-obsessed, stoic men who have no sense of humor. General Grange, however, was this exception. He was completely opposite, however, he was brilliant at his job. Currently, he was in a meeting with the higher ups and other generals. "Guys, the best course of action would be to come and surround the rebels. We can outmaneuver and outnumber them ten-fold. They're a bunch of rebels who have inexperienced fighters." Did I mention that he was slightly arrogant? "Of course, I know that we'd have to be careful...but don't you think this manner of attack would be best?" At stating this, he maneuvered his hand over a map - showing an alternate route that another general hadn't thought of.

The explosion was small... the fight short. The reward irresistable. Yet another imperial down for the count... and yet another purse full of credits for Jeod. The Lightning Saix raised it's head and hissed, rocking its head back and forth as it walked up the the zaber fang that lay in the desert sand. Sparks flying from it. It was completely US. The Saix hissed again and Jeod gave a dark smirk. "Of course you can crush it, you've done well." He said fondly. The Saix stepped forward, it's clawed paw crushing the zaber fangs head in. "Now we'd better split... or we'll be traced..." he said. Saix vanished at top speed... something it was good at. Jeod and his partner were the ultimate assassins... they were to quick to be caught.
Jeod would do anything for the right price. He needed the money to keep his Lightning Saix in working order. He didn't believe in taking sides... hence he worked as a double agent for both... doing jobs for both the imperials and the republic... and all those in between like himself. Not all his jobs were evil, some were of good nature.. like helping out locals... carrying supplies to secluded towns.

Na' kara and terro were flying high overhead, with the terrace flight team behind them. "we're nearing the imperial base...we await your orders squadron leader. over" the voice stated over the intercom, "spread out, then wait for my signal to come in and take out the air support that will flood out. over" Na' kara replied to the voice. "roger that, ma'am, all units spread out and await squad leaders signal!" the voice commanded for the team to do as were Na' kara's orders.
Na' kara then did as was in the plan and circled the enemy base, her 'terrodrac' screeching loudly to attract the attention of the enemy fliers. Soon the imperials began to scramble air support and she made her signal to the terraces. She then began to fire her lasers at the redlers that came swarming out of the imperials base, they fired a few shots at her but her zoid easily dodged their shots, "ha! this is too easy!" she began to get a little arrogant, but really, were the imperials really all that good at flying? she then clicked a button on her zoids control panel, and and a blade on the end of both wings clicked out and one on the bottom of the tail. she then slashed her way through the waves of enemy redlers until they stopped coming she then, along with the terraces, dropped some bombs upon the imperial base before landing ready to fight of the ground troops.

(...OMG!! XD It's my turn, isn't it?! I'm so sorry, guys! XDDDD I'll post now. I swear.)
General Grange, as soon as the explosion was felt, snarled and cursed. "Dammit! Men! Move out! We're under attack! Get into your Zoids!!" He ordered, motioning about the area in the direction everyone should be going in. Tiegs remained where he was for the briefest of moments, making sure that everyone went to their respective battle stations. Then, it was his turn. "Time to boogy, you rebel bastards!" He growled, only to dart off towards the hangar where his beloved Konny, the Konig Wolf in which he tamed. In only moments, he was in his seat and mobilizing his Konny. "Short system check. Is everything alright out there, men?" He called through the communicator. At the 'go' signal from the technicians below, he ran out of the hangar instantly - being careful not to squish any unsuspecting comrade. "Where are you, rebel bastards..?" He muttered to himself while glancing about the area and using his radar amongst other tracking devices already built into the Konig. "Shit! They're flying zoids! Konny, be prepared for a barrage from above!" He called. This recieved a roar in affirmation, and thus their battle began.

Jeod and his saix stood on the edge of the newly formed battle field, watching yet another futile argument between the rebels and the imperials. He chuckled to himself and put his legs up on the console of the cockpit, pulling out an apple and taking a bite. There was a cat like hiss from his Saix. "No mate, you can't go join in. We're not on either side... and until either side radios for assistance, we don't join in." He replied. There was an almost disappointed grumble from the Saix and then all when silent, allowing Jeod to watch the battle.

"hmmmm...nice zoid there general, what do you say to a one on one combat, hmm? if you win we leave, if i win you give up your base to us, wanna give it a shot?" talking over the intercom, Na' kara challenged General Grange.lets see what you got, General

General Grange was ready alright, and so he told her so. "Bring it, Rebel. I'm ready when you are.." He emit, confident enough in his abilities. Of course, he had his faults, but he was still confident. Besides, he was a General for a reason; he was NOT weak. He braced himself, Konny shifting its weight to its back legs so that he could lunge forward. Of course, he wasn't expecting this individual to fall for it...so he'd just fake her out. He waited until she moved first, though - sizing her up.

"Hey, what have we here?" Jeod said, sitting forward as the Saix zoomed in on the two commanding officers zoids, which seemed to be preparing for a stand off. "Ooooh... this is gonna be good." He said, opening the cockpit after grabbing his high powered binoculars. He jumped out of the cockpit down onto the ground and found himself a seat on the Saix's paw. The Lightning Saix then crouched down into a laying position, seeming to watch the battle intently itself.

Na' kara watched intently, and when she heard the general accept her challenge, she got ready to make her move, her zoid indicated to her that general Hard-head's zoid was in a battle position, gotta be careful, one wrong move and he'll hit me...hmmmm, i wonder... Na' kara knew that this zoids armor was extremely think, so she would have to make a good move to be able to do much damage to it. she noticed that its neck was quite vulnerable, a good hit and the zoid would take quite a decent amount of damage, she made her first move, a quick crouch onto all fours and the zoid made a shot with its laser guns on its chest at an aim for the neck, she hoped for a decent hit.

Unfortunately for her, Konny had already been prepared to spring and so that is exactly what he did. Those powerful hindpistons propelled him upward, leaping into the air. However, it was a bit delayed and therefore the laser barily grazed one of Konny's legs. It wasn't serious, and wouldn't deter him from using it, that's for sure. Either way, Konny was still in prime condition save for the little scratch. Now it was Grange's move. As soon as he landed on the ground again, Tiegs urged Konny forward instantly, aiming for the same region as the other zoid had previously. The neck was usually always the most vulnerable part on a Zoid, seeing as how it was needed to swivel about and maneuver itself.
Tiegs, hopefully, would manage to get Konny in gear and take a large chunk out of the enemy zoid's neck. However, should he fail and the other zoid dodge, Konny would use his front left foot to pivot himself and go in for another attack from behind. Konny would leap up, and hopefully land on it's back. With this, he would then aim for the neck once again, or any other vital part - namely the wings to deprive it of its flight advantage. "Take that, Rebel!" Meanwhile, Edward, Rayse, and Felix were still ambling about the wreckage sites. However, in the distance they heard the distinct sound of fighting. A slow smirk curved Edward's lips. "That's our next destination, Boys. Let's go see if we can scrounge up anything decent!" And without further ado, Felix and Rayse were speeding forward.
Only about 15 minutes later, they arrived at the battle site - making sure to remain in the forested area nearby. Out of sight, out of mind, eh? They simply watched the battle that was unfolding at the moment. "Whoa, those're some nice zoids. I bet we could get some awesome parts from them...We'll just have to hope they lose something important."

Jeod was getting bored... he was quite ready to stir some trouble up himself when Saix hissed. "Hmm? Whats that?" He asked, turning his binoculars the direction of the forest. He noticed a group of people, watching the battle intently. "No doubt they're part scroungers... wanna go shake 'em up a bit Lighting?" Jeod asked, stand up and climbing back into the cockpit. The Lightning Saix roared its agreement, and as it stood, the cockpit slid closed. "Well let's go then." The Saix ran down the mountainside and headed straight for them at top speed... FAST
