Ezio, Tifa, Aerith & Yuna

[Tifa Lockhart]

"I'm ready." Tifa nodded in reply, following Cloud through the portal.

Zack and Aerith emerged through the portal not long behind Squall. The SOLDIERs face was hard, his eyes dark and his mouth set into a grim line, his own display of grief at leaving their children behind.

Aerith forced herself to look at her surroundings, navigating her way around the fence to follow Squall and Rinoa. She stopped short though as she surveyed their new surroundings. The water... the sand...
"Zack..." she said softly, her voice weak from crying.
"Does this seem... strangely familiar to you?"

[Elario Luminus]

Squall saw the couple start running to the beach, and a child ran out of the water, laughing loudly. He smiled and sheathed his gunblade. If there are children around, the area must be safe.
He spotted a cluster of houses nearby, and concentrated on that area, frowning slightly.
'It's gonna be difficult finding who we're looking for in there...' Rinoa stated, snaking an arm around her Knight's waist. Squall nodded and headed towards the houses.

Cloud emerged through the portal with Tifa close by, flinching at how brighter the light was. He smelt the ocean instantly and it was rather calming. He took a look around at the white sandy beach and avoided the fence that was close by. There were cliffs that surrounded the beach but they were small, only a few meters high, though houses were built upon the rocks looking out to the ocean. There were only one or two and it seemed like such a relaxing place.

Zack looked around, trying to decide whether the place looked familiar, Uh... no... can't say i recognise it." He mused, scratching his head. He then looked over to Squall.
"What exactly ARE we here for?"

"I feel like... it's been described to me before," Aerith murmured softly, mostly to herself.

[Elario Luminus]

Squall shrugged as he walked, looking over his shoulder at Cloud briefly.
'Cosmos told us that another two of her Light Champions were here. That's where the portal has lead us, presumably.'
He pointed up at the house he could see at the top of the cliff. 'We should see if they know anything. Or if they're the Champions themselves. We might need to test them.' His silver eyes glowed with the prospect of a challenge, and Squall headed towards the cliffs with determination.

Cloud bent down to the sand to take up a handful, the grains fell swiftly through his fingers like water. Lifting his eyes, he took another look around at the bright white beach. Brushing off his hand he walked slowly past Squall to quickly get moving. "Don't scare off the children now Squall"

Zack found enough joy to cackle a little at Cloud's comment, moving to follow Squall up the beach, squeezing Aerith's hand gently.

Tifa gave a small smile, running to catch up to Cloud and take his hand in hers.

Aerith managed a tiny smile too, but her mind was worlds away... literally. She squeezed Zack's hand back gently, walking close to him.

Rinoa glanced at Squall after Cloud's comment, and found he was smiling about it. She giggled, spread her wings and flew ahead, high above the ground so she was nothing but a darker blue spek against the clear blue sky.
Squall, there's only two houses here. I reckon we should split up, find out at the same time about these Champions.
Squall nodded silently, and jogged to catch up to Cloud, pushing him gently in revenge for his warning earlier. 'Rin says we should split up. She'll probably wanna be with Zack and Aerith. There's only two houses anyway. What do you say?'
After finishing, the Knight could have sworn he saw a crystalline glint in the distance, and he glared at the spot he'd seen it.

((ummm sorry for taking your post XD and also.. are the houses your taking about on the beach ... or on the whole island cause i think there is more than two... <.<))

Yuna brushed through her hair with her fingers as she tied up her laces on her boots finally. "Lets hope Lulu hasn't gone crazy yet" Yuna joked with a giggle.

Cloud looked down to his hand when Tifa took hold of it, his lips tugging slightly on one side. He responded by squeezing her hand back as they made their way up the beach. There were small cliffs around the beach with some sort of machine ruins, though they were covered in moss and vegetation. There was one house upon the cliff, north of where they were heading across the sand. There was a jetty on the other side of the beach spit and a small tent which seemed to be a cover for all the boat requirements like nets, buoys, rods, and crates. The cliffs looked only to be a few meters high, small enough to climb up easily. the water was a clear blue and the coral reef out further in the water could be clearly seen. Cloud scratched his head , he has a feeling that he has been to this warm and calm place before.
Staggering slightly when Squall shouldered into him, Cloud decided not to be childish and retaliate. XD

Tifa's eyes roamed the beautiful wilderness as Cloud's did, marvelling in the innocent wonder of this pristine world. There seemed to be no harm here... everything was beautiful.
"How could anything possibly be happening here? It seems to peaceful." She whispered to Cloud.

Zack responded slowly the Squall's suggestion, still not keen on even being here.
"We'll do whatever." He said, shaking his head, "But how are we supposed to know these 'champions' when we see them?"

Tidus grinned as he tugged his gloves back on.
"We'll go pick them up now, hm? I think she's looked after them long enough..."

Aerith continued to observe their surroundings, holding onto Zack's hand tightly.

Squall put a hand to his forehead in thought, and clicked his fingers with an idea.
Rinny, can you do some recon further into the island for me? There's gotta be more than just two houses.
Rinoa sent a positive thought back as Squall watched her fly ahead.
'I just realised that no-one here would be used to seeing a girl with wings fly around. Oops.' The SeeD chuckled and shrugged.
There's a courtyard, with little huts and a large structure to the northern part. Probably a Temple, or something to that effect.
Right, thanks Rin. Rally here; I got an idea.
Squall clapped his hands together to get everyone's attention.
'Here's what we're gonna do,' he began, while Rinoa landed gently next to him. 'Zack, you take Aerith and Rinoa and go visit the main village. Talk to whoever's at that structure first, see if they anything. Cloud and Tifa, you're with me. We'll go talk to whoever's in these houses, then proceed into the village. Send a Flare if anyone finds anything. If not, rendezvouz at that courtyard in an hour, alright?'
