((Right, I'll get this started, shall I? I mean...I have the most knowledge about the storyline anyway...))
((Also, I'll lay down some ground rules. The Imitations, which are crystal-esque copies of each character, have each characters abilities, but at varying strengths. For those that are in the actual Dissidia game [Squall, Tidus and Cloud], I will tell you what colour your Imitation is. Also, when the Imitation speaks, have it in italics, so we know the difference. Unlike Dissidia, we'll be able to have groups of enemies attack, as well as groups of Heroes fighting as well. Some of your Limit Breaks won't be available, Tidus mainly for that, but most will be usable. Roleplay on!))
The night sky glittered down on the canyon-like area, and clouds drifted absently across the crescent moon. A light wind howled through the rocky outcroppings and blew over the taller parts of the plain. There was no sound.
And then...
'I am the only me!' Squall raised an eyebrow at the purple Imitation of himself as it taunted him. 'You obviously don't realise you're what you are. Pathetic...' The Imitation yelled loudly, charging at the true Squall. A purple, crystalline gunblade flew past Squall's head as he dodged it easily. The Imitation grunted, turned, and was about to attack again when he was met with a Firaga spell to the head at point blank range. He screamed in agony and exploded in a shower of crystal shards, the fake's final sound echoing throughout the canyon. Squall sheathed his gunblade and began to walk on.
A clapping was heard, along with a distorted, but unmistakably girlish laugh. Squall looked up, gunblade in hand again, and saw three Imitations of Rinoa. Their aqua crystal wings shone with the light from the moon, and they crouched down into an attacking stance, but were then quickly discarded of by a chain-linked Holy spell. Rinoa herself floated down gently in Squall's raised vision, and landed neatly and lightly in his arms. She smiled and kissed him on the cheek. Squall chuckled as he put the Sorceress back on her feet. 'That was stylish. Very nice.' 'I'd say the same about you, but you were just blunt with that last one. A Firaga spell to it's face? Don't you think that's a bit much?' Squall shook his head a few times. 'Not at all. Seemed to do just the trick, actually. Come on...we should move on. I see another portal up ahead. Maybe it'll take us to where I heard that woman's voice from before.' Hand in hand, the Angel and the Lion walked into a portal that sung heavenly, promising hymns...but experience had taught them not to trust that.
((Doesn't bother me who posts next.))
((FINAL NOTE: Tidus' crystallised version is an orange-ish colour, while Cloud's is a teal-like colour. These are official notices. Don't mess with them.))

Aerith tried to catch her breath as her staff returned to her fingers. She stared down at the pink, crystal version of her lying on the ground. She slipped and dropped to one knee, wincing. "I'm definitely out of practise..." she murmured to herself. She looked back up to the house, remembering how she had drawn the strange, sudden enemy away, and the strict instructions to the twins. She had felt horrible leaving them by themselves when they were so young, but it wasn't safe for them to be so close to the fighting. She pushed herself back to her feet with the help of her staff. "Zack?!" she called desperately. "Zack!"
"Woah!" Tidus ducked the orange blade that came for his head. "This is pretty trippy," he grinned as he slashed back at his Imitation. "So what are you, my evil... orange twin?" he laughed, darting around his crystal copy to slash again. "I would have hoped you would be a bit more of a formidable opponent..."

Zack weaved around the massive dark-blue blade that came at him, cringing as the blade only just missed. This creature was fast... it had reflexes just like his own... perhaps it had taken on more than just his physical traits... He heard someone calling his name, and fear boiled in his chest, he'd been on his way home when this creature attacked him, and it had never occured to him that the attack on him might have been a diversion to keep him from the house. He had to end this quickly. He swung around in a wide backward slash, aiming for the crystal dopplegangers neck. The swing left him wide open and he felt a sword bite deep into his hip, but at the same moment his sword smashed through the crystal neck and the attacker exploded into shards and was gone.
Zack swayed, cursing as he gripped his side to slow the flow of blood and turned to run down the alley. He'd barely come around a building when he spotted Aerith outside, calling for him. "Aerith!" He yelled back, running over to her and staggering as he came to a stop, hand still clutching the side of his body that had been wounded, the darkness of his own blood leaving a dark stain on his shirt. "Are you alright? Where are the children?" His eyes were wide with worry as he checked her body over with one hand, looking for injuries.

Yuna pulled out her light blue pistols from her belt at the sight of a series of apple green imitations of herself. She shot bullets quickly into the sandy dust of Bikinel desert creating a blinding mist around her and the other four imitations. They had already tried to shot at her through the thick fog but Yuna was preparing a dress sphere to destroy these Gunner wanna-be's. Repeating her pattern with her trigger happy bullets, Yuna kept the fog thick as she pulled out her Dark Knight dress sphere and placed it quickly into her garment grid. She should of known better than going out into the middle of Bikinel by herself looking for old Spheres. but then again, she was glad that she wasn't back near her family where they might get hurt as well. Changing into a dark form of a warrior, Yuna pulled out her liquid built sword from beneath sand and let the dust settle so she could see the other imitations. But when the sand drifted down they were no where in sight. It was then that Yuna knew this would not be easy as the imitation lifted themselves up from the sand in a green goo, copying Yuna's change in dress sphere. Jabbing her sword into the ground Yuna threw herself into the air to avoid the four attacks of darkness directed at her. From there taking her sword and summoning her black sky attack. Meteors full of black liquid began to fall from the sky and layer the sandy ground with a thick, sinking, muddy lake. The imitations were just removing themselves from the boiling hot lake when the bright light of Yuna's change in dress Sphere again surprised them. From the sky, Yuna filled up her bullets and sent a wave of bullets towards the light green imitations. Sending them deeper into the thick lake. Dropping form the sky Yuna took a breath as she gently touched on a shallow part of the lake. "This doesn't seem right" Yuna thought thinking they went down too easy. She was exhausted but turned around and started to make her way back towards the digging center. Her boots were covered in the bark liquid and her arms were sore, but she was not expecting the pain that shot through her shoulder. A large cracking noise came from behind her and a laser like shot before a hit from a mage gun burnt her shoulder. Falling to the ground she whimpered at the pain before turning to see the light green imitations all in different dress Spheres. One a gun mage, one a Dark knight, another a samurai and the last being a gunner. Yuna was so confused. Slamming her fist into the ground she picked herself up and pushed her new friends back further from her. Then changing once again her dress sphere to her oldest one. Exploding into her Summoner outfit, she cursed the four imitations with a stop instruction giving her time before she was burned again by the gun mages pistol. "I didn't want to do this"" Yuna spoke before moving her staff in front of her and summoning her a aeon to help.
From above, a bright light flashed within the desert clouds and bahamut formed from the farplane and floated just above Yuna in the sky before a energy mass formed in it's mouth and then exploding towards the stationary imitations. Yuna hid her eyes from the bright overdrive and knelled to the ground from the energy she used to summoner one of her most powerful aeon's. The imitations cringes of pain could be heard before all fell silent, and they were gone.
(( takes a deep breath))
Cloud gripped onto his handle bars tightly as he sped up his motorbike faster to get to Edge faster. He checked in his review mirror every few moments to check that Tifa was still on the back, even though he could feel her arms wrapped around his waist. They felt warm. He couldn't see much behind him as the dust that his bike brought up made the use of him mirrors rather useless. He turned around a large cliff face down the track, his eyes still flicking to Tifa who's hair was flying back behind her as they glided through the wind.
Raising his eyes up quickly he realized that a large teal figure had placed it's self only meters away from him. Cloud was really confused as it looked exactly like him. "Tifa!" Cloud said a loud over his roaring motorcycle quickly because it was only a second or two that he would hit the figure, ad he couldn't turn in such a short distance. Cloud grabbed Tifa's hand quickly and threw her off his bike himself, getting her out of danger and away from the bike. He flung her by one hand but before he could get out his sword the motorbike was already impacted with the figure. The teal imitation grabbed the handle bars of the bike and lifted it into the air and to slam it back onto the floor with cloud beneath it. Nice bike the teal, and almost see through figure of himself spoke calmly. Cloud pushed his bike off him and drawed his sword out, wiping the dust from his face.

Aerith took a gasping breath as she saw Zack, dropping her staff and moving to meet him. There was a small limp in her step and as she removed her hand from her jaw, a bruise could be seen darkening there. She hadn't even thought of healing herself yet - there were other much more pressing matters racing through her mind. "They're inside... I hope," she said, biting her lip as she touched his face. "I had to take the fighting away..." She spotted the wound to his side, covering his blood-soaked hand with a shaking one of her own. "It came after you too?" she asked, confusion and concern in her eyes and voice. She stiffened, remembering her primary concern. "I'll fix you up in a second, just... come on," she said urgently, taking his hand and running back toward their home. She ignored her staff. That she could fetch later; the safety of her children were much more important...
Tidus and his Imitation both turned at the sound of sand crunching under small feet. The blitzball player... or at least, the real one, swore in his head. "Kai," he called, blocking another blow from the orange blade. "Now's not a good time buddy... go home to your sister."
"But Dad..." the young child said, utterly confused by the orange copy of his father.
"Kai!" Tidus started, but his distraction cost him. The Imitation darted around the sandy blonde, slashing the back of his legs. Tidus seethed in pain from the sting of the blade, staggering a little. He still spun around though when he heard a quiet scared noise behind him. His Imitation was advancing on Kai, menace in his eyes. Tidus let an animalistic growl escape his throat and he rushed forward, crash tackling the Imitation to the ground. "Run home Kai, NOW!" Tidus instructed in an unquestioning tone as he wrestled his clone in the sand. He breathed a sigh of relief as he heard the sand crunching again, then applied a punch to the side of his orange copy's face.

Zack nodded and ran after Aerith, noting her limp with concerned gaze, but just like her, he was terrified for the children. The moment they reached the house he released Aerith's hand and shouldered open the door. "Ashlynn!? Ynyr!?" He yelled, wincing as his side protested. In seconds a pair of green eyes peered around the corner of the door to the lounge-room and widened with surprise before disappearing again. Then finally Zack's son emerged with his sister close on toe, her hand tightly clutched in his. "Mummy, Daddy?" The boy asked, looking between the two of them and noticing his father clutching his side and the strange black on his mother's face. He pulled Ashlynn close to him again. "Mummy, why's daddy leaking?"
Zack sighed in relief when the children emerged and knelt down on one knee to be on their level, trying to hide the wound from view when he realised Ynyr had seen it. "Daddy's alright. Are you and Ashlynn OK?" He turned his loving blue eyes onto the little girl Ynyr guarded.
Tifa had been leaning in close against Cloud's warm back, enjoying the feel of the wind against her skin when she felt him go tense. "Cloud what-" She began but she was cut off when he grabbed her hand and hurled her from the bike. She knew instantly something was wrong and tucked mid air to catch her fall with a skillful roll. She coughed in the dirt as she got to her feet and looked up to see Cloud facing off against someone who looked like him... only they were completely blue. "What in the world?" She mused, she was just about to run over to help him when a purple leg lashed out and struck her in the side. She rolled with a gasp and turned to face her attacker, shocked to be looking into the see-through purple face of herself, like looking in a purple mirror. The copy attacked again, and Tifa lashed out to defend herself.

Yuna wanted to get back to Besaid, she wanted to make sure that everyone was alright. She was so tired that walking in the desert was getting very difficult. She pulled her hand from where she had been burnt and noticed some crystals left from the fighters where in her wound. Thats probably why it hurt more than it should, though Yuna was just sore from the battle and changing through all those dress spheres. She hadn't bothered to change back from her summoner outfit as it would drain more of her energy. Yuna sat down on the hot sandy desert floor and turned on her communicator. " Buddy can you come and bring the Celsius to me, i can't walk back to the center" She spoke softly into the gizmo on her hand. "Sure Yuna, just set on your traveldex and I bring you aboard. Im not far."[b/] Buddy replied. Yuna set the signal on her traveldex and soon enough she was dissolving down to get back on the air ship before sitting down on the floor again. Buddy was confused why she was back in her summoner outfit. "Practising your skills?" He asked as he lifted her up. "Not exactly" Yuna replied with a small smile. "Go have a rest in the cabin, I'll get you back to Besaid."
Cloud was keeping his distance from the copy so he could find out where Tifa was. Though then he realized that she was fighting her own battle, he was thankful that he didn't hurt her when he threw her off the bike. The clone took a jab at Cloud when he was distracted but only managed to cut his shirt. Cloud defended himself against the strong attacks. the strength of the imitation reminded him of someone. Cloud wanted to end this quickly, and this imitation was not getting tired. Cloud allowed the teal copy to push him more towards a small group of trees before he took another jab and Cloud managed to tear his sword from his arm and throw it into the air, high above the trees. Cloud took flight into the tree quicker than the copy though Cloud was tearing down each branch as he went throwing them above him into the sky like the sword and soon hundreds of them began to fall that a death trap of spears. Cloud defended himself from the falling sharp branches but the copy was not able to defend much without his sword which Cloud had stuck up in the tallest part of the tree. The copy fell from the tree and managed to keep most of the spears from penetrating him but a few managed to pierce his shoulder and arm, making it shatter into pieces. Cloud realized now that crystal is fragile.
Jumping from the tree Cloud attacks the Crystal as it still did not have it's weapon and was now quick enough to stab the teal imitation quickly in the back, forcing it release a painful scream and shatter before him into a million tiny pieces.

Ashlynn looked up to Zack's with wide eyes that mirrored his. "Daddy hurts..." she said softly in her tiny, chiming voice, as if to reaffirm her brother's words.
"Daddy's going to be okay," Aerith said tenderly, kneeling in front of her children. She slipped an arm around Zack's waist to rest on his wound, stretching out the other for the two of them. Ashlynn immediately moved in against her, crawling into her lap, refusing to let go of her brother's hand. It was now that Aerith realised the little girl was quivering ever so slightly. It made her feel horrible. She ran her fingers through her loose, dark brown hair, kissing her gently as she released an equally as tender spell to Zack, to stop the bleeding and heal the flesh. "You were so brave, both of you," she said, still inviting Ynyr into her embrace. "I'm so proud."
Tidus, now fuelled with anger from the mere thought of this clone hurting his son, disarmed his opponent rather violently. He hoisted the copy to its feet, before thrusting his sword through its body. The Imitation shattered into a thousand tiny, orange pieces, much to his surprise. Tidus stared down at the pieces as they blew away in the sand, backing back a little. He then glanced over his shoulder to where Kai had ran off, spinning quickly on his heel suddenly to take off and ensure Kai and Nevaeh were alright. He knew Yuna would kill him if she knew he was away from them...

Tifa dodged a kick aimed at her head and rolled at an awkward angle, wincing as her knees protested the unnatural movement. She scrambled to her fit, open-palm punching the crystal her in the face, watching it stagger back and soon right itself. Their fighting styles were identical, and it was making it hard for Tifa to get an advantage.
Zack put his free arm around Aerith and let his hand fall away from his wound as Aerith began to heal it. Ynyr shuffled forward to his mother's arms at her beckoning, making sure he kept Ashlynn's hand tight in his until his mother told him to let go. When she'd left she'd said "Take care of Ashlynn." And so he was. He leaned in against his mothers chest, but he watched his father his green eyes tracing along his side to rest on his dad's hand. That was strange... was his hand always red like that? Before Zack could react the boy reached out and touched the spot where the wound had been prior to Aerith's cleaning. When he removed his hand, it too was red. The boy squeaked and shook his hand, as if trying to get it off.
Zack's arms shot out and around the boy, restraining the hand gently so Ynyr couldn't touch anything with it. He gently pulled the boy away from Aerith and stood, bracing the boy on his hip with one hand, keeping the blood covered one away from him, a concerned look in his eyes. "That's yucky Ynyr, you don't want this on your hands OK? Let's go clean it off." He gave Aerith and Ashlynn an apologetic look before heading for the bathroom where he could clean up.

Yuna had returned to her preferred dress sphere by the time they reached Besaid. The Celsius beamed down Yuna down to the village, she hadn't had time to heal her wound yet, but that was the least of her worries. Besaid had a little bit of an upgrade when it came to there houses, since fiends had been less frequent. In stead of small village tents, they have built sufficient houses for each family down from the temple and now for some it was only a fie minute walk to the beach. Yuna preferred the beach, as did Tidus so her home was place on the hill near the Besaid waterway and in view of the shore of the island. Yuna rushed to her home coming to a stop before the door when she heard Tidus inside. She was glad Tidus was still with her children. Walking inside she could view Kai crawling on the small lounge and Neveah she assumed was in her bed behind the curtain of the other room.
Cloud rushed to find Tifa again and found her close to the same place but a copy still forcing attacks on her. Holding his sword steady he quickly but quietly ran over to join her. He went to strike from behind but the imitation ducked and moved out of the way. It was much quicker than his copy, though Tifa had been a bit quicker in her defense usually.

"Follow?" Ashlynn whispered very quiet and simply.
Aerith looked down to her daughter from Zack and very gently scooped her up into her arms. "Of course honey," she said, standing up and kissing her forehead again. She stopped short though when she heard a rush of wind outside. "We'll just check this first, okay?" When she felt Ashlynn's head drop onto her collarbone and nod, she turned around, carefully and quietly making her way to the window. Cautious of what had happened only a few moments before, she carefully pulled back the curtain, eyes widening at the sight just outside. "Zack?..." she called.
Tidus brandished his sword again when he heard movement outside. He quickly relaxed however when he saw just who it was, sighing with relief. "Hey kids, Mum's home," he grinned, watching Kai climb down from the couch and rush past him to meet with Yuna.

Squall and Rinoa walked out of the light from the portal into what seemed like an endless plain of white. There was a thin layer of water covering the ground, and there were bright green arcs of light scattered about the place. But where the couple were, there was what looked like... 'A throne...' Squall stated. 'That's what it feels like. Rinoa?' The Sorceress nodded in agreement. 'There's an immense power here, Squall. Not an Imitation...something much stronger.' Drawing his gunblade, Squall proceeded towards the throne, where a woman sat.
She seemed to be out of breath, because she was panting quite heavily. She looked up as Squall and Rinoa approached her, her golden hair blowing in a non-existent breeze. 'Squall Leonhart, the Lion, and Rinoa Heartilly, the Angel. You both are the heralds of our salvation. I grow weak against Chaos, and am in need of your assistance.' Squall shouldered his gunblade and raised an eyebrow. 'Wait a second. Explain to me what you're talking about. Who's Chaos, and who are you? What's this all about?' Cosmos sighed and looked down slightly. 'For thousands of years, a war has been waged in the Universe. When the forces of good and evil collide in this Universe, it causes conflict in your world, and the worlds of your friends. How your battles go are determined by how the battle goes in the Universe. The God of Discord, Chaos, is what drove Ultimecia. Her power was but the tiniest fraction of what Chaos can give to his minions.' Squall and Rinoa listened intently, but waited patiently for who they assumed was Cosmos to regain her breath a bit more. 'It is my duty to prevent Chaos from prevailing in whatever plot he hatches. To do so, I bring forth the people in each world he assaults whom I deem powerful enough to defeat whatever evil is present. After each battle, balance is restored in the Universe for a few thousand years before he attacks again. This time, Chaos has gained the upper hand in the three most powerful worlds; your own, your friend Cloud's, and a Blitzball player named Tidus'.' Cosmos brushed a strand of hair from her face and continued. 'For you to succeed, I need you all here together. You two, Cloud and Tifa Strife, Zack Fair, Aerith Gainsborough, Tidus, and Yuna. Go, find them, and bring them back to this place.' Cosmos breathed out deeply, and laid down gently. Rinoa took this as their cue to leave, as another portal hap opened up nearby. She tugged on Squall's sleeve. 'Come on, Squall. We have to find everyone.' The Knight turned and followed Rinoa into the portal.

Zack had just sat Ynyr on the bench and was cleaning his hands when he heard Aerith call. He scooped the boy up and ran out to make sure she was OK. "What's the matter?" He asked when he found Aerith and Ashlynn looking out the front window.
Tifa leaped forward to take advantage of the copy while it was distracted with Cloud. She swept its feet out from beneath it, grabbing its hand as it fell and spinning it around in circles. She then leaped into the air and threw it down as hard as she could. With a scream much like her own the imitation shattered as it struck the ground. Tifa landed on her bad ankle and stumbled forward, catching herself just before she fell on her face. "W-What were they?" She asked, looking up to Cloud as she brushed herself off, "Are you hurt?" She walked over to the blonde, hands gently inspecting him for wounds.

Yuna flinched when she opened the door to find Tidus had his sword out, in front of Kai. She smiled when her little boy ran up to her with open arms. She picked him up quickly and spun him in a small circle before resting him on her hip. "You haven't been causing trouble have you?" Yuna asked the chuckling child. He shook his head innocently. " That's good, but i need you to go to your room for a few moments. Mum and Dad need to have a talk." she spoke softly too him as she put him down gently. The boy frowned unhappily but did what he was told. He jogged off to his room where Yuna heard the toy box being tipped over so he could find something to distract him. Yuna looked to Tidus and sighed taking a seat. "Was everything ok here?" Yuna asked stretching her back where her wound crinkled slightly. She needed to go see Lulu soon before it set. " Bikinel was cut short.."
Cloud kept his defenses up but when Tifa handled the creature perfectly he drew back his sword and watched as the crystal shards disappeared. He shook his head and looked over to his tipped over bike. "I'm not sure..." Cloud answered and flinched slightly when Tifa began examining him. He took her hands away from him and held them tightly. " I'm alright.." he looked to her own injury where she had stumbled on her feet and figured she must of done some harm as Tifa usually makes a smooth landing. 'Do you need to sit down?" Cloud asked.
