Khimari's lip trembles just slightly as Yuna told him he was right and then his deep voice boomed from between cat-lips. "Khimari knew Yuna would succeed." He stated.
Cloud turned his attention to Lulu as the fiery haired one departed, his cold blue eyes unreadable as he offered her his hand as he had Wakka. "Pleasure to be in... Spira." He said, trying to name out with an odd tongue. From what Aerith had told him, this WAS Gaia, it had been renamed by a religious sect that had risen to power not long after his own death.

Lulu gave a traditional Yevon bow to the warrior and switched her gaze to Yuna, her long platted hair swaying to her motion. "Everyone is waiting Yuna, perhaps it should be a good idea not to keep them worried." Lulu explained knowing the island of Besaid was waiting to see if the daughter of High Summoner Braska was successful. Yuna nodded and looked to her guardians. " This will be difficult" She explained knowing that Besaid will be curious to the 2 new additions to her team. She tried to think of a way perhaps to not bring so much attention. She was finding it hard to think of a plan.
Wakka ran on ahead pressuring Tidus to follow. "Come along yeah? Guardians do more than just stand around like flies" He gave a laugh and ran on ahead. Tidus looked around at the temple again his gaze returning to the young summoner before he heard Wakka's calls again. "I'm here for what? 10 minutes and I'm already pushed into work" Tidus said with a groan walking sluggishly towards the door. He heard a small giggle from Yuna.

Cloud's cold blue eyes returned to Yuna after Lulu's greeting, one he assumed was the accepted form of greeting here in Spira... it was quite formal... and he couldn't see himself ever doing it. He turned and walked over to Yuna, "I don't wish to make things complicated for you." He said in a detached official way, "If there's anyway i can help you avoid questions, just let me know." He folded her arms, the massive sword on his back shifting as his shoulderblades moved.

Yuna smiled sweetly, "Thank you... It might be best if we didn't draw attention" Yuna spoke wisely, she wasn't one for wanting so much attention. Though she knew that it was still difficult being the daughter of the High summoner. She was proud of her father, but following in his footsteps looked like a long and emotional adventure. She nodded to Cloud and then began to giggle again. "I don't know how your not going to draw attention though"

There was the tiniest flush of pink in the blonde's cheeks and his set-lined mouth twitched slightly. "Occupational hazard Lady Yuna..." He shifted on his feet, "I will do my best to stay out of people's way." His serious business-like expression showed none of its previous signs of amusement... such emotions died fast in the blonde.

Lulu exited the temple followed by Yuna. Lulu was a bit quiet though Yuna knew why. She left Cloud with Khimari and went to the village to be congratulated. Perhaps a distraction with the summoning of her new aeon may let her new guardians blend more into the village as guests. The next morning they were to leave for Luca where Wakka was to play blizball in the competition before they headed out towards the next temple.
Tidus was introduced to Besaid's blizball team and Wakka seem to be proud of their progress so far with training. Tidus didn't know what else to do but give the blokes some encouragement. He felt sort of confused being in this world, it was his but it had changed so much. He was expecting the future to be less, nomad looking.

Cloud hung in the background, watching Yuna laugh and be happy with her friends, showing them her new Aeon and celebrating with her people. A strange emptiness ached in his heart as he watched her with dark blue eyes. Why me? He thought to himself, What can I do for these people Aerith? What can I do? He sighed and folded his arms, staying out of the way, his silent feline companion stood beside him without a word. He watched with mild envy as Tidus began to fit right in, watched as he made friends with Wakka and the Blitzball team. He looked around at the nomad looking village, the tents and the wilderness that expanded around it. It was strange... he did't remember anything like this in his time... there were cities and people... But he did notice one thing, the people here smiled, even in the face of danger they were able to smile. I don't understand...

Tidus continuously kept looking over to Yuna as she spoke with the elders. Though when the Summoner looked to him he shied away. "Don't get any ideas ya" Wakka said to Tidus as he walked past. Tidus huffed. "No problems there, hey but what if she comes onto me?" He said smugly. Wakka stopped and shook his head before entering one of the tents. "Let me know"
Yuna had spoken with the elders drinking a small warm cup of Besaid herb selection. They were praising her for her success though she felt somewhat not so joyful inside, she abolished this feeling and kept up her smile. She looked to Cloud who was standing stiff in the corner with Khimari, those two were like a pair. She gradually made her way to the two of them.
A young boy was hiding in the bushes for the festivities when he looked out to see a huge sword perched on a mans back. He sneaked out of the bushes to examine it.

Cloud's mako blue eyes had found Yuna making her way over from the elders when his sensitive senses twitched and he span, hand going to the hilt of his massive sword, he stopped the instant he saw it was a small boy and blinked, wondering what he should do. He didn't wish to seem intimidating, but he never had been good with children, he'd only ever dealt with two in his whole lifetime, and neither of them had been too young to look after themselves, so his experience was limited. He already knew that he'd have seemed pretty frightening when he'd spun and reached for his weapon.

The boy paused in his actions when the man turned around suddenly. His mouth was dropped and his hand they had reached out had stopped in it's tracks. The boy smiled "Cool..." Lulu had walked over and grabbed hold of the child's hand. "Hey!" the boy complained as Lulu took him away, not speaking a word to Cloud.
Yuna smiled silently from behind Cloud, deciding to come into view so not to scare him again. "It's changed a lot... Spira or Gaia as you call it. The maesters had forbidden all machina." Yuna spoke knowing that he may need a explaination about why things are this way.

Cloud watched as the boy was dragged away, feeling an odd warmth in his heart after the boy's bright and excited smile. It was as if the boy had just met an idol he'd never expected the actually see at any point in his life, one that seemed more like a fairytale than a reality. He turned, much calmer this time, to face Yuna, a curious expression in his expressive blue eyes. "Machina?" He queried, though he suspected the similarity between this word and 'Machine' was not purely coincidental.

Yuna paused for a moment and then understood. Perhaps some of the teachings of Yevon will help Cloud understand. "We do not use energy at all. It is considered wrong to use such equipment, though some still refuse to eradicate it from their lives. 'Sin' is our punishment for all the fighting that had erupted a thousand years ago. "

Cloud nodded, now he understood. The people of Spira had banned the use of all mechanics, all items of machinery and technology that required a source of power other than the drive of the human body. Guns, robots, electrical appliances. All such items were illegal under the laws of the people. It seemed a strange policy, but considering the trouble mechanical progress had proved to be during his time, it also seemed like a fairly justifiable course of action. "Sin is your... punishment?" He frowned slightly, not recalling any form of beast or creature that had come to stop the fighting during his time... then again, there had been WEAPON. "Do you know where this 'Sin' comes from?" He queried. He was almost certain it was not a WEAPON, for surely Aerith would have known about it. But then what other entity could be 'punishing' the people of Spira? Wasn't the planet the only 'being' capable of that? Or at least that is what Cloud had learned during his life.

" Sin is a beast that threatens all of Spira. The teachings say that it will not disappear until we are in complete atonement." Yuna looked to her people. They may seem to look happy, thats because they were happy that they were still here. Yes, the people of Spira are full of sorrow though they are understanding of their punishment. "No one knows were Sin comes from, we only have the hope that it will someday leave Spira. " She looked to her new guardian who stood as stiff as before. She was still a bit overcome by what had happened in the past day. She had become a summoner finally, and had obtained more friends to help her. She felt privileged though a little scared.

Cloud frowned and scratched his chin, not sure he bought the story of 'atonement'. What being could possibly have created a monster and sicked it onto these people? Even in his time he'd learned that the only cruelty in the world was Jenova, and that exerted by the darkness in the hearts of men. Jenova was gone, so surely this Sin was a creation of men? But why would men create a monster to tourment their own people? "And how is it that the Summoners eliminate Sin?" He queried calmly, noting how Khimari grunted and glanced over at them briefly.
