'No! Dont think like that!' Lucy cried out suddenly. Her locker flung open and a few of her books fell out in her haste. Glancing at the picture, she bent and picked up her books, chuckling half heartedly. 'Im sure non of us will mind at all. It will be fun, having some one to fill in the gap-' she swallowed her words and smiled.
'Well,' lucy thought. 'Maybe Will's secret could be kept for a little while longer.' But she felt deep down that if she were going to be a friend, she would have a right to know. Throwing her books into her locker, she quickly covered the picture and shut her locker, a fake smile on her lips.

Amelia jumped when Lucy replied quickly. Almost dropping her books again but managed to catch them. " Oh ok, thanks" She smiled and waited for Lucy to close her locker. " How many of 'you' are you" Refering mainly to the group that Lucy would sit with.

'Um...' Lucy tucked her lunch under her arm and counted with her fingers.
'Not many, Me, Darren, Mike, Chelsea, Jarred, Christain, Joshua, Will and Kat-' she bit her tongue and paused at holding up another finger. 'Well, there are others but like i can remember their names.' she said with a forced smile, holding a tear that threatened to blow her composure. With a small smile, she gestured towards Amelias locker and took a step forward.

Amelia's eye's opened wide when Lucy listed them all. Herlast group she hanged out with had 3 people! Now Amelia was a bit nervous. What if they didn't want her to join them. What if they didn't like her? Amelia walked over to her locker and threw her bag in, pulling out her sandwhich. Closing her locker quickly she bit her lip. "Are you sure it's ok? They won't mind either?"

'Im sure it will be fine! What i say goes!' she giggled, jabbing a thumb to her chest. She let out a laugh and gave Amelia a pat on the back.
'It will be fine. Stop worrying! We dont bite that hard offten. Beside, im sure Will would like the company.' she said and winked at Amelia. She began to walk to the caffeteria, funny stories of Will, and some other rolling off her tongue. She only wanted Will to be happy, not dwelling any more, and she hoped that Amelia would be able to help.

Will groaned as he shut his locker. He held the picture of Kate in his hands and was about to tare it when he saw Lucy and Amelia. Quickly he ducked out of their sight, but wished he didnt. Now he had Cassie seeing him.
'Will! Oh Will im so happy your here!' she practicly yelled and threw her arms around his neck. Will held the urge again to gag at her scent, the floral smell making his gut feel like air. she let go of him and stood before him, still with a large forced smile on her face.
Will tried to push past her, but her high heeled foor stopped him.
'Oh Will just forget about her! Shes gone!' she said, throwing her arms out side ways, pointing out the obvious. Snarling, William pushed past Cassie, who gave a disapointing smirk and shook her head lightly.
'Emotional prick.' she said, not wanting to show how bad she was hurting. Will marched off towards the caffateria, but then changed his mind suddenly and forced the doors open and went outside before he broke something.

On her way with Lucy to the cafeteria, Amelia couldn't help but overhear Cassie's happy girl voice yell out 'Will'. She turned her head in the direction to watch but turned off her gaze noticing it was a private conversation. Will didn't look so pleased. Amelia moved closer to Lucy to whisper to her. "Is there something wrong with Will today?" she asked a bit concerned.

Lucy sighed sadly.
The things she would do to Cassie if she had the guts.
'Yes.' she said sadly. Instead of heading straight to the group of friends, Lucy guided Amelia to a quiet table and sat down.
'Im not meant to tall you, and i dont know if your doing this for Cassie's sake, but, it will make me feel better.' she said sadly and, unwrapping her sandwich, looked out the window, not wanting to make eye contact with any of her freinds, expesialy Darren and Cassie.

"For Cassie's sake?" Amelia was surprised, did she think that she was like working undercover for Cassie. She's know her for only 2 days!? Amelia shook her head and sat down with Lucy. "Lucy, you don't have to if you don't want to. I mean I only just met you. I only just met Cassie?" Amelia bit into her jam sandwhich and looked over to where Cassie was usually seated. She seemed somewhat unhappy.

Lucy gave a half hearted laugh again.
'I know. Maybe i shouldnt, but, i dont know. Something about you just reminds me so much of her. Maybe thats why Cassie tried to grab you, and, Will is so nervous around you.' she said, staring at Amelia. Then she shook her head and frowned.
'Im sorry, im probably freeking you out on your second day but i promise, it will make me feel better. But Im not sure about will, but trust me, it will make a few of us better than to keep such a big secret from a good friend.' she said with a smile.

Cassie sat across the room, watching Lucy intently.
The little worm was going to tell Amelia.
'Perfect,' she snickered, but kept an unhappy face outside. Yes, she knew, and so did some of the others, so it wouldnt be right if she had a beaming smile on her face. This was going well. Looking over her shoulder, she eyed the certain group of tough looking guys and when one turned to her, she winked and blew him a hidden kiss.

Amelia was confused rather than freaked out. When did she bacome such a good friend for her to know this secret? Was it something she did? She can't remember anything that she did that might hurt or annoy someone. "Reminds you so much of who?" She said a little worried. she could understand. She wasn't so different from other girls. Though sort of more innocient than those like Cassie. Amelia hated short skirts.

Lucy understood that Amelia was confused, and she felt sorry and angry at herself for doing this to her. But it would help her, and them.
'Reminds us so much of Kate.' she said with a sigh and dragged her eyes back to Amelia. Taking in a deep breath, she sighed.
'Here we go.' she murmered softly to herself. 'About a year ago, a new girl came. Kate, Kaitlyn Mochrie. Will took a liking to her straight away, and vise versa.' she started with the obvious, the easiest, but she hoped it didnt make Amelia too uncomfortable with Will. He wasnt sleeze or dick, he was just an overcaring guy. 'Any way, they got along really well and i had never seen Will so happy in my life. He was like a protector, never leaving Kates side and always helping her, listening to her, and she adorded him. She did everything she could to return the favour and make him as happy as she was.' she grinned at the memory. 'But Will got involved with Ethan.' she pointed over her shoulder slightly at one of the blonder males sitting at the table in the group. She sighed sadly. 'This bit not even i understand, but Will was in trouble, and he didnt want Kate to get hurt, so he tried to leave her, but, she wouldnt have it.' she cringed and took another bite of her sandwich, trying to put off what was the inevitable. Glancing at Amelia, she hoped she was alright, and was concerned, but then gave a sigh. 'I dont know what happened, but, two months ago, Kate was-' she choked and tried to swallow the lump in her throat. 'Will hasnt forgiven himself yet. He blames himself, and, he maight hide it well, but he is dying on the inside. He just needs to forget and move on. Hard to say that though. What they had was something you rarely see.' she trailed off and then looked up to Amelia.
'But then you came! And he has already seemed to be different...better!' she said with a smile. 'But it could be worse, the renewal of such memories..' she thought., but if Amelia could, wanted to, everyone would be able to untie their hands and be happy once again, her thoughts floating to the group photo in her locker, smiling and laughing...relaxed.
'Im really sorry, i should not have burdened you with that.'

Listening carefully, Amelia understood everything. Her mind was picking at the words as she began to stare offf into blank space. This was not what she wanted to get into. She really just only seem to them like a similar girl to that of Will's beloved girlfriend. "would it be better if i stayed away?" She said a little uneasy. "I mean i understand, but i am not going to become some replacement." She continued, turning her head to face lucy. She nodded and finished off her sandwhich before getting up to leave. " i am really sorry that i made you do that." She sort of regrets asking. But now she nows what Cassie ment about staying away from Will. Her expression was some what annoyed really. That Will coming up to her and introducing himself, driving her home and the odd moments that he tried to avoid her.

Lucy frowned.
'A replacememt? No!' Lucy cried in a strained voice. Then she hung her head low, now she had ruined it. 'I want you to be our friend. We dont need a replacment. If you want to go, spose you can. It just makes me feel better that i tried to give Will another chance.' she smiled up at Amelia. 'But be careful. This might be a school, but there are people in it that make it evil.'

Will had sat under a tree.
How traditional.
He sighed angrily and then opened his eyes. In front of him the dense trees looked brown under the sun and the slope of the hills seemed sharp. Not what he wanted to look at. Looking down at the photo in his hands, Will groaned and stood on his feet. He couldnt be like this any more, it wasnt right. He would get revenge, one day. Staring at the photo, he looked back towards where his friends would be sitting, where cassie would be sitting, the group, and maybe Amelia. A smile was on his face at the thought of Amelia, he didnt want to put her in danger, would not be responisble, and he would not remember anymore. In his hands, he gently stroked the smiling face and then tore it.

Amelia shook her head and pushed in her chair. "I still want to be friends, and im gald that i'm am somehow making Will happy. But i do know what the hell I did?" Pushing her hair back she smiled at Lucy. "I just need some fresh air" She waved back and left the Cafeteria. Pulling out a piece of paper from her pocket, Amelia checked her timetable for what she had next. Gym. Gym! Amelia had to moan, she hated sport. Mostly because the guys hog the ball and she always ends up embarrassing herself. She would have to go to the office though cause she forgot the other dress code. They were allow to wear practically anything though complusery sports shorts and shirt were needed. Amelia didn't end up getting them on the first day. She had noticed the others in their sports stuff in the Cafeteria but AMelia was too occupied to think about it.

Lucy smiled.
At least she was still going to be friends.
Standing up, Lucy tried to wipe the smile from her face and sat down next to Darren, who wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
'You alright?' he murmered in her ear, not wanting to interupt the conversation going on at the table. Lucy smiled.
'I am.' she said and glanced at Amelia as she left, and then scanned the caferteria.

Cassie's cheeks were begining to hurt from her smile that she hid behind her pocket mirror.
Oh this was too easy...too sweet.

Holding the torn pieces of the photo, Will knew he would regret that tomorow, but right now, it actually made him feel better. With a twitch of a grin at his lips, William headed for the caferteria, but when he saw the time, he had just enough to grab his gear and head for the change rooms for gym. He shuddered. Gym.. not that he hated sports, he loved it, but the people in the class made it boring and edgy. Heading back to his locker, he placed the torn picture in it and grabbed out his sports bag.
