Apollo groaned a little at the last few days of having nothing to do, why did Phoenix have to bring it up?

Iris's blush remained in her cheeks as Phoenix led her inside, but she smiled up to him, moving to help with drinks once he released her.
"Oh, Klavier," Phoenix added offhandedly. "I don't believe you've been introduced to the Fey's before."
Maya turned around from the bench and froze, instantly star-struck.
"You're... Klavier Gavin from the Gavinners," she said, wide eyed with awe.
"Don't jump him now, Maya," he warned jokingly.

Klavier turned to face Phoenix when he spoke, already sipping from the beer that Apollo had given him. He turned his eyes onto the woman that Phoenix was introducing him too.
"So you are the famous Fey who I've heard so much about," he greeted taking Maya's hand and kissing it.
"Klavier Gavin, pleased to meet your acquaintance."
He was pleased by her joy at meeting the lead singer of the Gavinners, his ego did still need feeding from time to time.

"Maya..." the Kurain Master replied in a daze, looking like she might swoon when Klavier kissed her hand.
"Wow..."
She seemed to snap out of her daze for a moment, to turn to Phoenix with an accusing glare.
"Why didn't you tell me you were friends with an international rockstar?!" she demanded, pulling her pufferfish impression again.
"I was afraid of the consequences," Phoenix mocked with a laugh.
"Hmph!!"

Klavier continued to laugh. Glad to learn that he had an adoring fan in the woman of whom Phoenix spoke so highly.
"You flatter me fraulein," he drawled charmingly. "Let me give you a gift."
He reached into his jacket and produced a piece of paper and a pen, swiftly signing it to 'dearest Maya'. He the offered it to her with a smile.

Ema walked down the lit streets, her bag clutch to her side and her heels clicking on the concrete. She was on her way to a friend's, wanting to make sure that he did as she had told him. She made it to the door of the Anything Agency and knocked loudly.

By now Phoenix's company had been drinking for most or the evening. Klavier was on the couch, swapping slightly drunken stories about his prosecutor career with Maya.
Pearl was doing a cross-stitch at the edge of the room, avoiding the increase in Klavier's flirtatious advances, finding the man too much exuberance for her too handle.

"You're a lot more hard-working than Nick," Maya giggled.
"Running an internationally famous band on top of a high profile career in law," she gushed.
"You're amazing..."
"Door," Iris said softly to Phoenix.
"I'll finish up here..." she said, gesturing to the dinner they were preparing together.
"Thanks," the ex-attorney mumbled, hesitating uncertainly for a moment, before kissing her cheek quickly.
He wiped his hands on a teacloth before heading down to answer the door.
"Ema!" he greeted cheerfully.
"Dropping around for dinner? Are they cutting your salary down at the precinct too?" he joked.
He knew perfectly well why she was here. But he didn't want to hear anything about the number he had received...

Ema smiled with delight when Phoenix opened the door.
"Nice to see you again and no, I haven't received a pay cut," she giggled.
"Without me, nothing will get done."
She walked into the agency.
"Have you called her?" she questioned, before sighing into her hand when she saw Klavier.

Phoenix paused, taking his time to close the door behind Ema.
"... Not yet," he muttered.
Maya was a little disappointed when Klavier's attention moved away from her, but she was happy to see her long-time friend arrive with Phoenix close behind her. She gave Ema a cheery wave... though she hoped Klavier would resume his conversation with her soon...
