[Yuffie Kisaragi]

Megaman toppled and hit the floor as Roll tackled him with a hug.
"ack!...R-Roll...off....please...choking, not breathing!!" Megaman managed to stutter despite the fact he had a girl in pink laying on his chest unintentionally preventing him from breathig and choking him in a neck-bound hug. "...off~...." he complained, trying his best to push her away so he could get up.
"Roll, judging from the way in which you have Megaman held I believe he might not be able to breath, I do recommend letting go before you suffocate him!" Numberman appeared, his usual way of deducing the situation in the most intelligent manner possible defining him apart from everyone else.
"yes Roll, I do agree. Are alright there, Megaman, shall I drag her off for you?" the posh english accent and respectful way of speaking said that obviously Glide was speaking.
"...yes...please!" Megaman coughed, trying in vain to move the girl in pink.
"very well, Roll I am going to have to ask for your forgiveness for this!" Glide stepped forward and pulled Rolls arm from around Megaman's neck, then pulling her off and standing her up "I apologise for doing that, but I believe Megaman needs to breathe like everyone else here." he said in the politest of manners possible.
"...yeah, thanks Glide" Megaman said after catching his breath "now...it's good to see you Roll" He finally said, hugging the girl gently before turning back to the rest of his friends.
"Megaman!!" a high-pitched but quiet voice, Spoutman walked over and almost instinctively hugged Megaman's leg. "it's so good to see you~!" he squeaked, a happy smile spreading across his face.
"Gutsman missed Megaman! guts-guts!" Gutsman lumbered over, a bright grin on his buff face, he hugged Megaman as well but definitely less of a tackle.
"good to see you Megaman, so who's your friend you wanted to introduce us to?" as Iceman stepped forward, Megaman had to kneel down to speak with him at a level height.
"this is Alphaman, why don't you all say hello" Megaman said, turning to face his companion.

"my, this is a pleasure, Alphaman. I do hope Miss Yai hasn't caused you and your Net-op too much trouble, I am her Net-Navi, Glide" Glide stepped forward bowing to Alphaman in a most regal manner, before stepping back for the others to introduce themselves.
"I'm Spoutman!" the little bauble-headed Navi -who was still clinging to Megaman's leg- squeaked with a rather adorable smile on his face.
"Gutsman think Alphaman look a bit like Megaman, very cool! Gutz-Guts!" Gutsman laughed, waving a greeting to Alphaman
"You're right Gutsman, he does look a great deal like Megaman! like a relative or something! I'm Iceman, Tory's Net-Navi! it's nice to meet you, Alphaman!" Iceman smiled up at Alphaman, who -being taller than Megaman by a bit- was much much taller than himself.
"I am Numberman, your Net-op is quite the timid little fellow, isn't he?...but if I'm right -and I'm always right- he'll warm up to everyone eventually! It is certainly an immense pleasure to meet your acquaintance!" Numberman came forward and offered to shake hands with Alphaman.

Roll seemed rather unpleased as Glide dragged her off of Mega-man, but in the end she mellowed out and settled for a much saner hug of the blue navi once he was upright again. She then turned her attention to the newcomer that everyone was greeting. It only took her a mere few seconds to decide she liked him.
"Wow you look so much like Mega-man!" She shrieked, shuffling forward to inspect the Navi closer, her eyes glittering, "Like you're brothers or something! Why didn't you tell us you had a brother Mega-man? Huh!?" She looked at Mega-man with a scolding expression.

The whole way through everyone's rather exuberant greetings Alpha-man stood silent, with the same blank expression on his face. He certainly wasn't feeling comfortable at that point in time. He glanced at Mega-man as they all introduced themselves, making it quite clear he wasn't comfortable with the situation, and that he blamed Mega-man for his predicament.
He made private judgements of each of the Navi's however, the most amusing being the fellow who introduced himself as 'Glide', if he wasn't mistaken, Yai was the name of the pompous blonde girl who'd frightened Luke so much. it seemed rather a contrast for a net-op to be so rude and their Navi to be so formal and polite.
The only one who seemed tolerable to him was the large one, but even he seemed perhaps a little simple minded.

Megaman noted that Alphaman was feeling uncomfortable and shot him a kind look to try and encourage him. As Roll complained to him why he'd never said he had a brother he suddenyl found he was lost for words...he hadn't expected that to happen.
"w-well I-I...well I didn't really know...until just yesterday" he laughed nervously, a lopsided and uncomfortable kind of grin on his face. "I suppose...it was kind of an....unforeseen event..." he trailed his gaze away from the group, nervously twiddling his fingers ((I hope you get what I mean))
Everyone just laughed at him at first, it wasn't normal that Megaman couldn't find a way to explain something...he was like a walking thesaurus or dictionary and ALWAYS had a word for everything.
"c'mon is it really that big of a secret?" Iceman asked, looking up at his friend.
"yes, do tell Megaman, I think we're all rather confused" Glide insisted.
"..." Megaman was a little unsure of how to go about this...he didn't want to say anything that might offend Alphaman.
"well...I guess you could say he sort of...popped up out of nowhere really, he just kinda showed up yesterday...and he ended up on our side after all was said and done...don't ask it's...kinda complicated." he finally said, hoping he'd said nothing that would offend his newly-dubbed 'brother' "so...he just showed up here yesterday and here we are" Megaman laughed again nervously as Gutsman gave him a sort of disappointed look
"Megaman isn't going to tell rest of story? awww, Gutsman wanted to hear, Guts-Guts!" He sniffled, folding his arms.
"yeah, Megaman...is there some big secret or something~" Spoutman asked peeking up at Megaman with big child-like eyes.
"leave him alone everyone, if there's a story to be told, Megaman would tell it, but if it's classified info, you know he isn't allowed!" Glide instructed seeming to be the only one who understood that there wasn't any way Megaman was telling the rest of the story.
Megaman was relieved that Glide took control of the situation and took a moment to breathe again, before looking a Alphaman and smiling nervously.
"so then, you got anything you wanted to say to anyone?" he asked, hoping Alphaman would distract them from continuing to ask questions.

Alpha-man seemed to recoil from everyone even more as Mega-man struggled to explain the recent development. It was obvious to Alpha-man that he was trying very hard not to say anything that would offend, but he could feel his heart sinking regardless. Everyone seemed so surprised, and Mega-man was unsure about telling them. Perhaps no one felt he needed to be around...?
He was jerked out of his thoughts as Mega-man asked him if there was anything he wanted to say, and instantly he withdrew, looking at the floor and folding his arms. He shook his head slowly, certain that he had nothing to say to anyone.
"Nothing..." He murmured, only loud enough that Mega-man would hear.

"It's no wonder he has nothing to say." A voice said and Roll turned to see Proto-man approaching. "You're all such a domineering audience." He was as epic as always, his hair long and white flowing down his back from the top of his helmet. The light glinted across his black visor as he came to a stand still.
This new-comer garnered some attention from Alpha-man, who glanced up and frowned slightly.
"He is... Chod's navi?" He murmured under his breath to Mega-man.

Megaman nodded to Alphaman "yes, he is...that's Protoman" he whispered, before he turned back to Protoman and waved briefly to his friend. Long greetings weren't Protoman's type as Megaman had long found out.
Megaman could see in his peripheral vision the look on Alphaman's normally un-emotive face...he seemed impressed by Protoman's entrance...or perhaps he just found that Protoman seemed more his kind of company.

"Oh! Protoman, what a surprise to see you here!" Glide exclaimed as the Red-armoured Navi appeared. "really, I would have thought you would be back with Chod running BlazeQuest!" all the other Navis all turned and nodded in agreement.
"yeah, what's the special occasion that brought you around here?" Megaman now asked, fixing his green eyes on the taller Navi's visor...he WOULD have looked him in the eye, but no-one ever saw his eyes beneath the visor.

Proto-man seemed a little distracted to begin with, eyes fixed on Alpha-man. Though he'd encountered the navi during the skirmish with Mega-man, he'd never seen nor spoken to him personally. He sized the black and gold man up now, a small quirk to the corner of his mouth suggesting he was mildly impressed.
"Chod has come for a meeting with Dr. Hikari and the other scientists. Concerning the... data issue Lan, Mega-man, Chod and myself encountered a few days ago." Behind his visor his eyes came to rest on Alpha-man, and though no one would see, Alpha-man seemed to guess and shied away a little.
"Laika and Searchman have been sent in as well. After some research Chod did last night this case has become top priority." He gave Mega-man a solemn expression, letting the Navi know that everything was under control. "They also feel some extra security for Sci-lab may be necessary while our... guests are here." Again the eyes behind the black visor came to rest on Alpha-man.

"This is all my fault..." Alpha-man murmured, again at a level that Mega-man was the only one likely to hear him speak.

Megaman looked again at Alphaman "don't think like that...if anyone's it's my fault, so stop blaming yourself" he whispered "besides, this sort of thing happens fairly often when Darkloids are involved"
He turned back to Protoman, he nodded to him in acknowledgment "I see, well I suppose for now I can only wish you luck with everything until Lan's back in action" he said, folding his arms "If I can help you at all though your welcome to come and ask."

Megaman wanted to comfort Alphaman but knew the Navi would prefer not to be touched nor get too close to anyone else, so he kept still and simply gave him a reassuring look. "this might not be all bad. just wait and see, maybe some good will come of this." he whispered, smiling to his brother...it seemed Megaman was getting used to the whole 'brother' idea.

Alpha-man said nothing and dodged Mega-man's gaze, feeling horribly uneasy.
Roll had been watching them as they spoke, her eyes tender. "Hey... Mega-man?" She said softly, trying to atract the navi's attention.

Megaman noted the quiet, feminine voice say his name and looked over to Roll. "is something wrong, Roll?" he asked, turning to face her.

Roll shifted uneasily still, noting that Alpha-man turned away, but did not move far from Mega-man's side.
"Is... he OK?" She gestured slightly to indicate she meant the black and gold navi.

Megaman was surprised by the question but answered all the same "I can't say for sure, he's still nervous and a bit touchy about what happened...but I think he'll be okay. he just needs some time, I think" he replied, then looking at his brother. "he's just not used to being around so many people just yet" Megaman was a little worried himself...Alphaman wasn't coping particularly well with so many people, and so far he didn't seem to keen on discussing what had happened yesterday.

Roll looked over at Alpha-man sadly, noting how the navi had withdrawn even further from the whole group, a rather distressed expression on his face, one that could even be translated into sheer terror. He really was uncomfortable with the situation they were putting him in.
"Maybe you should go to him." Roll suggested softly.

Megaman looked back at Roll again, the back to his brother "hmm...yeah, I probably should but..." he paused a moment and folded his arms "...well, he's not fond of company. He doesn't even really talk to me all that much...mostly he just talks to Luke...I suppose I'll see what I can do though." he looked back at Roll, smiling "don't worry, we'll sort things out somehow" he turned his gaze to Alphaman again, pausing a moment, before walking over to him. he put a hand on his shoulder "you look kinda' nervous, are you okay?" he asked, still unsure of what Alphaman's reaction might be.

Alpha-man jumped as if he'd been startled when Mega-man touched his shoulder, but he seemed to relax a little when he realised who it was.
"I just..." The navi began, moving to hold his arm in an insecure fashion, "Do not think these people will like me."

Megaman could help but chuckle to himself at this "aww, don't say that! I know that Roll already likes you" he said, winking "trust me, I know they'll get along with you just fine!" he smiled at his brother.
"just watch out for spoutman, though, if you manage to impress him enough he'll probably start clinging to you like he does to me..." He warned, subtly pointing to the little bubble-headed Navi who was now fawning over Protoman in all his epic uber-glory. "and something tells me you wouldn't like that very much"
Megaman smiled again "in any case, quit worrying so much, things will turn out just fine, alright?" he said, gently prodding Alphaman in the shoulder.
