Yuna, Aerith & Tifa

[The Painted Lady]

Aerith smiled warmly to the much calmer woman who joined her.
"As I can imagine..."
She looked up to Zack as she heard her name, then gave a small smile to Gippal when she realised she was being introduced.

Tidus took Yuna's hand gently, squeezing it gently and glancing to Paine, before moving over to Gippal so that they could be introduced too.

(( i hope so.. *looks at Tifa *.. *cough* ))

Gippal nodded to each person he was introduced to, though gave a warm smile to the black haired woman who blushed. Rikku gave a small jab to Gippal's ribs as everyone began to come into a large group.
"Hold on, I'm getting there. " Gippal said trying to keep up with everything. He started to introduce everyone pointing to Rikku first when Buddy finished warming down the ship and came to join them. "This is Rikku.."The blonde girl waves happily, Gippal couldn't really explain why she was here so he skipped. "Tidus, Warrior of Spira, a Defeater of Sin" Gippal said trying to make him look that much more professional than that of Rikku, which did not make her happy. He pointed over the group to Buddy who just arrived. "Our flight navigator, Buddy." The Al bed stayed at the back of the group giving a nod. "And Al..." Gippal was interrupted by Cid who was shaking his head.
"Look at you being all high and mighty. Leading the Spira crew!" Cid said releasing a laugh. Gippal frowned and turned to the man. "I'm doing more than you old timer!" He spoke but ended up getting himself into a argument.
"I got you here!"
"Buddy got us here"
"who made you leader"
"Spira!"
"It be my airship!"
Yuna sighed and walked up to take over as usual. " Yuna, just Yuna. We are all just a bit tense from the travel. Zack Fair was it?" Yuna asked before continuing. Gippal and Cid were beginning to get louder before Buddy told them to cut it off. "Would it be better if we talk in a more suitable area?"" She asked.

Cloud nodded when he was introduced and was a bit curious about Gippal's smile, she shuffled a little closer to Tifa. As the others were introduced he began to try and memorize the names as they might be here for a while.

Zack blinked in surprise as the argument broke out, at first he cringed, wondering what sort of crazy world they'd gotten themselves mixed up with, but soon he found himself chuckling at their antics.
He turned to face the much calmer woman who approached him, noting her demeanor, she seemed more like a leader to him than this Gippal guy XD who just seemed like a loon... though he liked him already xD
"Pleasure Yuna." He greeted kindly, nodding his head, "If you cool your friends off we'll head to the briefing room." he chuckled and locked gaze with the man beside Yuna, the one Gippal had introduced as Tidus, he looked tough, but not like a warrior. He gave him a nod before he gestured for Aerith to join him.
"If you'll all follow me... Junon is a bit big."

Aerith hurried forward to take Zack's hand. Despite their mini-argument over Tseng earlier, she didn't want to be angry with him and she didn't want him to be angry with her either.

Tidus gave the man Zack a bit of a grin, moving to follow him as he left.

Tseng followed silently, not moving closer, despite Aerith's quiet encouragement.

Yuna turned to Gippal and Cid and placed a hand the both of them. "Do you think you can stop the fighting?" Yuna asked calmly. Gippal scratched the back of his head and grumbled as he followed the others. Cid huffed and shook his head. "That boy needs a whooping" Yuna gave him a stare but did not speak to the either of them as she joined up with Tidus.

Cloud was a bit worried there for a moment when the old man and Gippal began to argue, like Zack was, though he had to calm himself down too due to all the energy circling around him.

Rikku grabbed Paine's hand made her follow her to meet with these two that were at the back of the group. She jumped beside the dark hair girl and smiled. Rikku had calmed down a little but was still excited. " Your home is very different to ours. Though you use Machina like we do." Rikku said as she assess some of the things around the dock as they walked through the Junon airbase.

Tifa blinked when the strange hyperactive woman appeared beside her, boy did she ever look like Yuffie... only blonde... fun.
"Machina?" She queried, crimson eyes following the line of sight the girl trained, finding her looking at one of the large generators that had been haphazardly erected to power Junon without damaging the planet.
"Oh the machines?" She said, realizing what the girl meant with a kind smile, "You have very strange eyes." She mused, noting the way the pupils seemed to swirl.

Zack squeezed Aerith's hand back, regretting the way they'd parted in the communications room, he could never stay mad at her, and he hated it when they fought, though it was a rare occurence.

Paine grunted as Rikku dragged her over to the dark haired woman, and after a brief assessment of her, Paine turned her gaze onto the buildings around them.
The floor beneath her feet was metal, windows stretched high above her head on her left side as they walked, it looked like lots of houses stacked on top of one another. People with sad eyes watched them through the panes of glass. Nearly everyone seemed to be a warrior of some kind, carrying swords and Machina weapons, they all had hard eyes as they watched the strange group pass, but their eyes widened with adoration whenever they saw the group that had greeted them upon their arrival, these people must have been heroes of their people, she could respect that.

Aerith felt a wave of relief as Zack squeezed her hand back. She brought his hand up to kiss his fingers gently as they walked. She looked over her shoulder to Tidus and Yuna, giving them a typical sweet smile.
"So what is your Planet like?" she asked, overhearing the girl Rikku comment on how different theirs was.

Yuna looked up her bright eyes and gave a small smile. " We have only just began bringing back technology to our planet, it is very peaceful." Yuna said not really naming about Yevon or why they didn't have the technology in first place. "We have been rebuilding for a few years now" Yuna remembered the time before they were peaceful and hid it behind a smile.
Rikku raised an eyebrow at her questions but then smiled happily. "It's our Al Bed gene, all of use have them. Though others that don't have the gene have simple eyes. Except for Yunie though" She said the last bit quietly. She looked to the girl and stood back a bit so she could introduce shy Paine. "This is Paine, she is a bit of a grumpy bum" Rikku whispered the last bit closer to the womans ear.

Cloud was listening to the two girls talk but did not speak himself like the other dark girl. He was too shy and felt rude if he interrupted. The other blokes, Gippal, Buddy and Cid where just ahead of them and Cloud felt that these people didn't not look like warriors, nor acted like them. Though Cloud was not going to make any more judgments till he knew them better

Paine grunted slightly when Rikku introduced her, not liking the idea of attention in any form.
"Pleasure to meet you." She said with a simple nod.
"Nice to meet you too!" Tifa said with a smile, "I'm Tifa." She tilted her head slightly, "I'm so glad you're here."
Zack paused before a door now, and swiped his card through the lock, ushering everyone in before him.

"And it's been looking better than ever," Tidus declared, giving Yuna a small, encouraging squeeze.

Aerith smiled, pausing by Zack as he gestured everyone in.
"Feel free to take a seat if you'd like," she said gently, glancing up to Tseng to make sure he went inside too.

Yuna leaned a little bit closer in to Tidus when he gave her a light squeeze before she made her way into the room, everyone else followed taking seats where they could find some in the room. Yuna wanted to stand though as she had been sitting down the whole ride there, so picked a spot near the edge of the room. Rikku sat on a couch pulling Paine with her, whether she liked it or not. Gippal filed in with Cid and Buddy but he too stood instead like others who sat on the chairs and couches. Gippal saw the darked haired woman enter and wondered over to her slowly.

Cloud stopped at the door where Zack was as he was the last to enter. " Do you think they will be up for it?" Cloud asked silently to his friend, still not sure about the foreigners.

Zack looked uncertain, but he shrugged.
"Let's hope so... they don't look like much, but they might decieve us." He ushered Aerith into a seat before he stood up the front.
"Right well... its a pleasure to meet you all... though i'm still lacking a few names." He chuckled, lightly, "It'd be useless to start anything without you being fully informed so ask any questions you have... its easier than we breaking into a history lesson."

Tifa smiled nervously as the strange blonde man approached her, not sure how to feel about him.

Tidus was first to say anything. He raised his hand rather childishly.
"Uh, yeah... What's happening here? I mean, I get that something's attacking your Planet, but how long has it been going on? And how are we supposed to help?"

Aerith bit her lip, glancing up to Zack, knowing that she would be the best to answer the question.
"Well, the first case of strange animal behaviour came just a little over six months ago. Then the mass homicides came not long after. My..." she paused, finding herself awkward in the face of discussing her heritage with strangers. She had always hated the idea of being perceived by anyone as abnormal.
"My connection with the Planet began to weaken too. And I believe that's when we first sent out our message. Not long after that, I went with Zack to the Northern Crater, where our Planet's Lifestream is closest to the surface. I hoped it would help me find out what was troubling the Planet. When we arrived, the Mako was tainted and sick. That's when I... we found the alien body in the Lifestream. When it discovered I was listening, it send out creatures, which took the form of life on our Planet. That explained all the strange murders. This thing is trying to kill the Planet from the inside, out."

There was a brief pause as Aerith finished. In his corner, Tseng had gone tense again. His Elena had died from a creature created from the Lifestream? What did this thing want here? He hadn't realised Aerith had come under threat either... what if he had lost her too?

Yuna listened carefully when Aerith spoke to answer Tidus's question but some things were confusing her. "I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused. What is this lifestream, and Mako?" Yuna asked politely to the brown haired girl.

Gippal was standing near Tifa while he listened to the conversation, he though the young woman was rather attractive but saw the tense male beside her eying him carefully so didn't say a word.
Cloud was not happy that this blonde bloke was standing so Close to Tifa, he looked over almost constantly making sure he was not going to do anything that might upset Tifa. He wasn't jealous of this new male, he was just.. concerned for Tifa <.<

"The lifestream is the source of all life on our world." Zack answered carefully, making sure their guests would understand, "It's like a river of light, all things are born from it, and all things return to it after death." He rubbed the back of his head.
"Mako is the name given to the physical substance of the lifestream, its been used to power our machines, to devastating effect and its also been used on people, having similarly devastating and potentially life-threatening effects." He folded his arms again, "With it tainted, who knows what could happen."
