As Sabela drifted to sleep Llyr adjusted his position slightly so his back was braced against something. Then he sat all night long, sad blue-green eyes watching the Princess's delicate sleeping face. She was so beautiful... such a prize, he had no doubt a spoiled Prince would fall for her, even if only for her beauty.

Sabela woke suddenly when she heard knocking at her door.
"Princess? Princess, are you in there?"
She looked up, realising gentle arms were still around her, holding her close. Her eyes were suddenly fearful.
"Llyr?" she whispered desperately.
"Llyr, you have to go, quick!"

Llyr flinched slightly as he was stirred rather viciously. Blinking away the sleep he didn't register anything Sabela was saying for a moment until he heard the banging at the door.
Then his arms were relinquishing their hold on Sabela and his lips were seeking their final kiss.
"I love you." He whispered desperately before he released her and raced across the room to fumble with the latch on the shutters.

Sabela swallowed back tears as Llyr released her and escaped.
"Coming..." she called to the maid that knocked on her door.
She took her time to get to her feet and move to the door, pulling on a gown on her way.

When finally the Princess opened the door the shy looking maid gave a sigh of relief.
"Begging your pardons Highness." She said, dipping into a curtsy, "Ye've just never left ye door locked before Highness." She brushed her pinnifore with nervous hands, "I'm to help ye get ready milady."

It was far from the truth. The safest she ever felt was in Llyr's arms. She inhaled deeply.
"Come in..." she said quietly.

"You must be awfully excited milady." She said with a smile, "Travelling to new places." She giggled slightly. "Meeting new people."
