Llyr remained silent and kissed Sabela for several long moments, his hands resting on her neck. Finally though he broke away again to speak, his forehead pressed to hers.
"I love you too Sabela." The words had much more feeling than ever before, "And i am sorry."

Sabela shook her head.
"I'm glad you came into my life," she said softly.
"That you could make my life a fulfilling one, if only for a little while."
She kissed him gently.
"And you shouldn't apologise for your blood any more than I should for mine..."

Llyr sighed slightly and held Sabela close to his chest, enjoying the sound of her beating heart and her breath.
"I just... wish it was more solid than all of this..." He sighed, "I don't want you to have to marry the Prince of Hasnia..."

Llyr didn't want to lie to Sabela, but to tell her the truth would only make it worse.
"If you can find it in your heart to be happy, i will be." He said, a convincing lie. "I will be there to see you're happy... and if you're not i'll... i'll think of something."

"P-Princess it would not be..." He began, but he trailed off and shook his head, touching her chin. "A-Anything for you Sabela." He said, sitting beside her on the bed, still holding her hand tightly.

Sabela sighed again, squeezing his hand gently, bringing it up to her collarbone. Her other arm wrapped around his warm body, her head resting on his chest. She wished there could be more, but she would be content to just hold him close through the night.

Llyr wrapped his arms around Sabela and moved her to sit on his lap, keeping her curled in close. He ran a gentle hand through her hair.
