I'm studying for my National Boards and my boss has been gone from work, leaving me in charge of a big Halloween Event for the kids. So now that the event is over, I hope to be around a bit more...

We had an Octoboo Fest for them. They came in costume and got their pictures taken. There were games, a station to make a spider cake, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and there was a juggler and a mime. It turned out really good. We also had a goop station where parents had to drag their kids away from.

Awww cute. It makes me wonder though.. why pumpkins? It actually has to do with a story and pumpkins being native to America rather than turnips or beets, but, some of us actually use all of the pumpkin, so the shell is just a decoration.
