ROLEPLAY THREAD

A multi-crossover anime roleplay set in the game world of Unreal Tournament! No knowledge of the game is needed to play, as what you need to know will be explained here. Video game characters are allowed as well.

PLOTLINE:
It happened so sudden. People snatched from different dimensions, randomly appearing in a strange arena. After defeating a monstrous foe, they are approached by a stranger who tells them "Welcome to Unreal Tournament."
It's a virtal tournament and everyone is watching on their television screens. Though the arenas are not real, it sure feels like it when you feel the shock of pain. Everyone is divided up into four teams; Red, Blue, Green, and Gold. The players are offered to have their greatest desire granted if they can win the tournament. So unless you play, you won't be able to go back to your own world! However, things become complicaed on the playing field. You might find an ally on the opposing team and you will have to take him/her down, or perhaps an enemy you must fight alongside with on your team. Friend becomes foe and foe becomes friend as the lines are suddenly blurred. And what are the intentions of the ones behind this tournament? Is it true that whoever wins will have their greatest desire granted?

HOW IT WORKS:
Basically, you will be randomly placed in a virtual arena. Whenever you are "killed" you will automatically respawn in another area. Each Game Type will have custom rules of how to win, so always be sure to read that whenever it coems up.

RULES:
Don't have to wait for approve, feel free to jump in once you're done! No one fights in a tournament until I announce it. Also, if it's an arena limited to only 2 teams, only your characters in that team can join. You may have up to 5 different characters, but are only allowed up to 2 per anime. Of course, you can play them all in one post ^.^

GAME TYPES:
DeathMatch - "Kill or Be Killed" situation. Everyone is for themselves. Whoever gets the most "frags" (kills) wins the game.
Team DeathMatch - Same as above, only in teams.
Capture The Flag - You must capture the opposing team's flag and bring it back to your base to your flag to score a point. You can only score if you still have your flag.
Last Man Standing - Also everyone for themselves, only you have a Death Limit. You may only Respawn a limited amount of times. Exceed the amount, and you're booted out. Mere fighting skills won't save you here, it's survival.
Assault - Another team effort, one is on offensive and another is defensive. Offensive is given mission objectives and it is up to the defensive to make sure they do not complete them.

If you plan to have more than one, just re-use the template per charrie! You are allowed to enter more charries in later, as long as you do not exceed the 5 charrie limit.

Dimension: Black Cat
What Happened?: On another sweeper job, yet another contest with Eve who can nab the guy first, there was a sudden flash of light. Instantly he found himself in a dark place and some weird thing attacking him. He shot and killed it. He wasn't sure what it was. Then some guy came up to him and told him "Good work. Welcome to Unreal Tournament."
Companion: none
Team: Blue
Desire: Take down Creed and his crazy group known as Apostle of The Stars.

EDWARD ELRIC

Dimension: Fullmetal Alchemist
What Happened?: As usual, he and Al got in a mix up with Homunculi and somehow he ended up here. He was attacked by something else and had to take it down alone. A weird lady claps her hands and tells him "You'll be an excellent addition to the Tournament."
Companion: Winry Rockbell
Team: Red
Desire: To get his and Al's original bodies back.

WINRY ROCKBELL

Dimension: Fullmetal Alchemist
What Happened?: She was in Rush Valley, working on new automail when all of a sudden she ended up in a building that was basically in shambles. A weird creature came and attacked her. She ran at first, then took it down with a wrench. Someone evidently was watching and told her "Your unique ability will be very entertaining in Unreal Tournament."
Companion: Edward Elric
Team: Red
Desire: For the Elric Brothers to achieve their goal and finally be able to stay home for good.

SYAORAN

Dimension: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
What Happened?: Mokona was about to transport the group to another world, until suddenly a flash of light seemed to engulf him and the princess. Just them, in another world, and a weird creature. Syaoran defended the princess using his sword, Hien, and awesome kicking skills. A strange man in a dark cloak said to the both of them "welcome to Unreal Tournament."
Companion: Princess Sakura
Team: Green
Desire: To save Princess Sakura.

PRINCESS SAKURA

Dimension: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
What Happened?: As they were about to move on to another world, she and Syaoran were taken by a strange light. Ending up in some strange world, something attacked them, but Syaoran took it down. A strange man in a cloak welcomed them to an Unreal Tournament.
Companion: Syaoran
Team: Green
Desire: To find out who was deleted from her memories.

Dimension: Final Fantasy VIII

What Happened: On a mission with a couple of SeeD mercenaries, and separated from the team, Squall was taken into another world with a flash. Almost immediately he was attacked by a couple of monsters, which he quickly disposed of. Afterwards, a strange cloaked man welcomed him to the Unreal Tournament.

Companion: None.

Team: Gold.

Desire: To just go home in one piece. After finding out what the hell this Tournament is.

Dimension: Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji)
What Happened?: Serving tea to Lord Phantomhive as normal when he sensed a strange presence. A group of strange men appeared and engaged him in battle. He fought fiercly to protect Lord Phantomhive and they invited both him and the young Lord to join their 'tournament'. Enjoying a good game, the Lord agreed, Sebastian had no choice but to follow.
Companion: Lord Ciel Phantomhive
Team: Blue
Desire: Sebastian has no need for rewards, and desires nothing.

Ciel Phantomhive

Dimension: Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji)
What Happened?: See above.
Companion: Sebastian Michaelis.
Team: Blue
Desire: Ciel wants power. Nothing more and nothing less. Mostly however, he wants to be entertained.

Protoman.EXE

Dimension: Megaman NT Warrior/Battle Network
What Happened?: He was training for the new N1 Grand Prix so that he could finally defeat Megaman. While he was running a simulation there was a program malfunction and the system went haywire. During the fuss he was extracted from the system and found himself here, where he was informed he had been chosen for a tournament. Always willing to prove himself, Protoman agreed.
Companion: sort of Megaman, they're from the same Dimension but not the same team.
Team: Red
Desire: While winning the entire tournament is VERY high on Protoman's list of priorities, he wants to beat Megaman specifically, simply to prove he can actually do so. He fights for his pride.

SEIFER ALMASY

Dimension: Final Fantasy VIII
What Happened?: Fighting through hordes of soldiers in the name of the Sorceress Edea, when a sudden flash shocked his senses, and only at the last second, did instinct take over, when he was attacked from behind. Using his Gunblade; he disposed of his assailant before a cloaked figure strode towards him, proclaiming: "Welcome, to the Unreal Tournament."
Companion: None.
Team: Gold
Desire: That his romantic dream is granted, and he can succeed as he serves his Sorceresses every desire.

VERGIL, SON OF SPARDA

Dimension: Devil May Cry (after the events of DMC1)
What Happened?: In the form of 'Nelo Angelo', one of Mundus' Generals; Vergil is defeated and 'banished' by his twin brother Dante. Supposedly shattering into a number of pieces, Vergil's sanity is instead restored and finds himself transported to a strange new location. Reverting to his human appearance, a lone figure welcomes him to the tournament.
Companion: None.
Team: Green.
Desire: Desiring absolute power, and to be proclaimed the demon king, where his father and brother rejected their chances for the throne of Hell.

PVT. LAVERNIUS TUCKER

Dimension: Red vs Blue (Halo universe)
What Happened?: While he was casually swinging his sword, proclaiming 'swish, swish', Tucker looks around to find himself somewhere new. When some man approaches and says "Welcome to the Unreal Tournament", all he can respond with is; "Aww, shit..."
Companion: None.
Team: Red.
Desire: To pick up all the chicks in the world. At once. And maybe get back to Church and Caboose...mainly just the chicks.

A LATE COMER.

KUROUDO AKABANE

Dimension: Get Backers
What Happened?: In the middle of a transport service assignment, "Dr. Jackal", suddenly found himself being whisked away by some strange force, to appear in a room where he was immediately attacked. Instinctively carving his signature 'J' into his assailants and defeating them, he was welcomed into the tournament
Companion: None.
Team: Green.
Desire: To get the chance to fight someone who will grant him the ability to see the end of his own combat ability, for his toughest foe, only brought him to 90% for a few seconds before there was an intervening.

eh, I am VEEERY tempted to, he'd fit right in, he fights tournaments regularly...though he doesn't usually have to KILL people in said tournaments.

HECK that's it, I'm totally playing Mega you should play Protoman, just for lolz Imma just put together a profile thingy and all that need to find a decent picture
