Firenze nodded and grabbed it. Sitting down on a bunch of cushions, he folded his legs and opened the book. He frowned, then took his hood off so he could see better.
'Huh...it mentions something about an Apple of Eden, found in both Jerusalem and Italy. And a Staff of Eden as well. Perhaps they're linked?'
He read on, and chuckled as he placed his finger on a page.
'It mentions the Brotherhood. Look, it says that we're "devils that live in shadow and darkness, using imitation and extreme prejudice against the Templar order". Sounds about right, but it seems a bit harshly written.'

'Perhaps you're right. Almost all the other pages are written in some language I can't understand. They've diagrams and the such inside, but in most cases it's all foreign. Obviously the Templars can read it. Or at least their Grand Master can. Here, have a look.'
He passed the book over to Valentina.
