A large military protected warehouse lies ten kilometres at the least away from all the locations of Perth where people congregate. The building was built so far away to keep prying eyes from peeking, and fiends and the like from attacking the city, and warehouse simultaneously. The warehouse is surrounded by a large military wall, with Guardians, Hunters and army soldiers alike keeping an eye out.
Within the walls, lays a massive warehouse, stocked to the brim with a massive assortment of weapons, armaments, and vehicles. Being that the warehouse equates to about 12 floors of hardware, ramparts and scaffolding traverses amongst everything, making it simple to reach whatever is wished for.
On the top three levels rest the 'items', curative, offensive, defensive, you name it. Beneath that, on the next three, rest armours of any description. Ranging from anything like; leather gloves to Spartan Mark II armours and more. On the fourth, fifth and sixth levels, ready to lay waste, are the weapons. Replicated through no understandable means, but completely available to those seeking. Anything from Bronze Knuckles to the Spartan Laser, you want it; it's likely within.
Now, on the lowest three levels, are the transport vehicles. Few are allowed to be taken, but certain circumstances and permissions allow certain Hunters/Guardians peruse these vehicles. Such vehicles include variations on Cloud's Fenrir motorcycle (as well, as the Kadaj crew's bikes), and Warthogs, etc.
The staff are all rather friendly, if quite on edge for possible attacks, and happy to help out Guardians and Hunters who are allowed within the confines of their sanctuary, since the Warehouse is otherwise impregnable. Guarded like a fortress, 24/7.
Most non-Hunters/Guardians are escorted by soldiers or other Hunters and/or Guardians within to the genetic manipulator injection labs, in order to activate their 'level gene' as it has been named upon arrival. Then they are sent to receive their GDS Ident cards and rankings.

The Pelican containing Leon and Butch arrived, and as the hatch opened up, the Corporal quickly called out for a medic. As a medical team ran over, took Butch and placed him onto a stretcher, Leon sighed and took off his helmet. He walked back into his quarters and sat down, placing his head in his hands. My entire squad... There was a knock at his door, and General Carmine walked in. Leon quickly snapped to a salute, which the General discarded with a wave. Leon relaxed, and sat back down. 'Corporal Manik, where's the rest of your squad? It was a successful battle; I'd have thought you and your team would be celebrating the victory.' Leon shook his head. 'The rest of my squad is either dead, or in the ER. Only Butch made it back with me, and even he's barely alive. Hicks and Riggs were killed mid-drop, Jakkie was cut in two by an Iron Giant, and Hudson was incinerated by a Behemoth. Butch was skewered by the Hexadragon, but he's alive.' The General sighed. 'We'll hold a service for them tomorrow. From here on you'll be known as ODST Sergeant Leon Manik, and you'll operate with just yourself and Butch, who will be promoted to Corporal, provided he survives the operation.' Carmine placed a hand on the newly promoted Sergeant's shoulder. 'You did what you could out there, Manik. Take care of yourself.' With that, the General was gone.
-------------------------------
Leon stood firm as he folded the ODST flags every Helljumper is issued with when they join the ranks. He turned and handed it to his dead squad members' families. Behind him, on a small altar, the military priest spoke the last few words of the service. 'Their service to their country will never be forgotten.' The twenty-one gun salute began as Leon, Butch, who was bandaged across the chest, and other ODSTs picked up the coffins and carried them to the hearse's. After the service, Butch and Leon sat together, sharing stories of their teammates, laughing and drinking in their honour. The General approached them, somehow uncertain of something. 'Hello Manik and Butch. How goes your mourning?' 'Just fine, sir. We have more fond memories of our squad than bad ones, so we're celebrating their lives.' 'That's the spirit. Operational status?' 'Green, sir. For both of us.' 'Good to hear. There's rumor of a small group of monsters gathering in a set of ruins. The ruins appeared there when our continent collided with Africa, so it's all made up of beach houses and the such.' Leon nodded and stood up. 'Got it. When do we leave?' 'Immediately.' Leon nodded and clapped Butch on the shoulder. 'Time to head out, buddy. Army of two.' 'Hell yeah!' With that, Leon and Butch headed back towards ODST Command for their next operation.

Jaseh rose from the flat white table, rubbing her blindfold as her eyes were being to ache a little. "Right we are all finished Miss.." A deep males voice said as he rustled through a tray that was close by. "You may feel a little dizzy at first so I would suggest a few minutes of rest before getting..." The man sighed as the dark haired woman stood from the bench, her long ponytail reaching almost her knee's. "Does it usually take that long?" Jaseh asked her voice sounding rather tired. She gripped onto the bench again as she felt herself fall slightly. "Uh i would say actuley it would usually longer than that.. It was rather easy to find the gene necessary in you as it seemed to be slightly unusual than normal. Though the abnormality will have no effect on the leveling process as far as i know." The male clicked his fingers and signaled a woman to take away his tools that where on the rather large trolley. "Well.. i suppose i was expecting something else wrong with me" Jaseh said covering her annoyance with a small smile. "Well just rest for now.. the process went well and thats all that matters. You can collect your GDS id later. " The male pushed back his brown short hair and made his exit through what sounded like a double door to Jaseh.
Taking a deep breath, Jaseh remained standing near the bench; her arm still leaning on the smooth, cold granite slab. What next... Jaseh asked herself as she removed her blindfold letting her deep, dark green eyes to get some air. She could see nothing but white surroundings with a few points of colour that speckled her vision. She let her dark fringe cover half of her face and she flattened her blindfold before replacing it over her eyes.

((I thought it was good, Yunie. ^^))
Leon and Butch were almost suited up and about to get into their drop pods when they both just stopped and looked at each other. An unspoken pact between them was forged then; to hold a moment of silence for their dead squad mates before each drop. They raised their heads after a few minutes and clapped each other on the shoulder. 'For the team.' they said, in unison. The ODSTs slipped on their helmets and and stepped into their pods. 'Okay Command, pre-mission status is green. Ready to drop on your mark.' 'Roger that, Sergeant Manik. Pelican launch in three...two...one...mark.' Leon felt the jolt as the Pelican shot off towards their mission. His radio crackled, and Butch's voice came through. 'Hey Sarge, you reckon this one might be a little easier?' 'I'd say so. The monsters must not have been in large enough numbers, or powerful enough, for the Generel to mention them. Nice easy one today, Butch.' 'Oh good. I could use a rest. Gut's still a little stiff.' 'Don't worry, we could all use a rest.' The Pelican began to circle the ruins, but no word of the impending drop came. Several minutes passed by, and Leon was getting agitated. 'Command, please confirm mission directive. To initiate a pre-emptive strike against massing enemy forces.' 'Sergeant Manik, this is General Carmine. New directive; to provide cover fire for an escorted package; to support and assist in the escort's progress. Confirm new directive.' Leon growled inwardly. They don't usually spring missions on their soldiers. 'Manik, confirm new directive!' 'Mission confirmed; provide cover fire for package and escort, and later to support and assist in package's progress to waypoint. Manik out.' Leon heard Butch groan. 'Man, when's this mission start?' 'Whenever we get the green light, I suppose. Get some shuteye; they'll play our song when it's time to dance.'

(( stop lying XD))
Jaseh took hold of her GSD id card when the woman at the counter handed it too her. " Have you read the .." Jaseh cut the woman off with a sigh, a little tired. "Yes i have read it. Three times" Jaseh responded as she slipped the card into a pocket on her white skirt. The woman smiled as pressed a button that was under her desk. "Step through the door to your left and a guide will be along to help you sort out your arrangements. " Jaseh gave a smile back and took to left as the woman said after she heard a ring tune, and the creaking of what sounded to be an iron door.
Inside the fifth level of the warehouse, if was rather cool and dry. Jaseh stood in the middle of an area as she heard footsteps approach from a distance. "Id?" "Guardian of the fifth order, number 2747896. " Jaseh replied with a sweet voice to the calm tone which spoke to her. She had already memorized her number that the woman had read out to her. The male stopped in front of her, she could feel his eyes staring upon her. "Strengths?"[b/] He asked closing a book that seemed to be in his right hand. "White, green, dark and time magics. " Jaseh said not really knowing why the man required this information. "I'm sorry, i am just here for my equipment?" Jaseh averting her head down to the floor. "Yes i know... weakness's?" He asked another question. Jaseh scratched her bandage upon her face before pausing to shake her head. "None.."b/] She sent a small smile and pushed him away from in front of her, so that he wasn't making her uncomfortable. "What about race then?" The man asked, a hint of laughter behind his words. Jaseh tilted her head and shrugged. "Human?" The man looked up to Jaseh and tilted his head also. 'Just human? nothing else?" He tried to clarify. "Is that a problem?' Jaseh asked a little worried, placing her hand on her chest. "No, no..." The man shook his head and scribbled something down on his book. Jaseh could only hear the scratch of his pen.
"I have your equipment that was recommended for you in the office, no need to travel the floors. They thought it might of been easier on you, since your just starting out."[b/] The male said as he turned and made his way back the path he came. "Follow me" Jaseh laughed lightly, she didn't like to be treated like she had a dis-advantage, but though she understood that people could help making the assumption.
"Right got your back pound to hold your items, and of course your items that i brought down for you.. Your potions, more stronger potions, ethers, antidotes extra extra.." the man said as he ruffled some bottles and packages into the pouch that seemed easy enough to be slipped on the back of her skirt. Jaseh ran her hands over everything that the man touched to become familiar with the items she would use for the rest of her time being a guardian. "uhh over here.." the man said skimming over the equipment on another table. "Is your armor and staff that you required. " "I don't use armor" Jaseh said in a soft voice. She didn't ever need armor before and she found it that it effects her fighting. The man fell silent for a moment and laughed afterwards. "Very funny.. now the arm-brass is a little tight but thats how it's suppose to be, The shoulder bands are newly made so they should last for a very long time and.."[b/] Jaseh reached her hand over to press it against his chest. She gave a smile and tilted her head once more. "I don't use armor.. " She repeated not bothering to brush her hands over the equipment. The man shrugged and shook his head. "well ok.. but i would recommend that you take it." He moved to pick up her six foot staff that was a black colour with a white orb at the end, wrapped in the style of the staff. "He's what you had ordered, the katana to exact measurements is enclosed in the pole, it's wrapped in wipe ribbon at the top and comes with a mounting strap so you are able to carry it upon your back. " Jaseh took up the staff as the male talked about her weapon. Brushing over the staff with her skinny hands, a smile growing on her face. "Thankyou" Jaseh said as he was continuously speaking about her not taking the armor. Jaseh gave a smile and leaned in to give a friendly kiss to the male lightly on the cheek.

Her attendant was a bit taken-aback by her forwardness; not quite sure of what to make of a situation with a woman kissing him in any way. He was a geeky scientist, through and through: a complete failure with the ladies. He wobbled slightly, body shaking and at a complete loss of voice control to prevent from babbling stupidly. As it so happened, he wasn't exactly immune to the female condition: an attractive woman gives him a slight wink or a nudge of any kind; and he was putty.
Luckily for him, one of his co-worker's, Allysa; came over and relieved him of the duty. She looked to Jaseh, not condemning her at all for her willingness to work with a handicapped sense.
"I admire someone like you, participating in this dangerous line of work. And moreso because you're a delicate looking woman, but you give a strong aura. I feel stronger just looking at you." she said, a sweet little voice to hear.
"Did you want anything else, or do you think you're all set to go?" she asked timidly; not sure if Jaseh was really ready to go out as Guardian, just yet. But, before she could voice her dissatisfaction, her superior came over; Dresden Carmack.
"Guardian Jaseh; I presume?" he spoke, not leaving her much time to respond. "I come with an assignment for you, should you wish to accept one so soon?"

Jaseh did not know whether to take the girl's compliment as kind. She knew that she was very delicate and petite, and she rather not people to judge her by her appearance, though when the woman said that she also appeared strong, she couldn't help but smile slightly. Jaseh could sense that the woman was honest in her answer. "no thank you.. though i wont be needing these" Jaseh said as she pulled out a few objects from her pouch around her waist. It was a few bottles of blind serum. It was rather stupid for her to waist space with pointless items. Jaseh was beginning to become a little overwhelmed by the amount of people near her when another person began to walk towards her. She could hear the person's shoes click on the floors. By just the vibrations in the floor, she could feel that this man had good posture. How his feet softly hit and left the floor in a rhythmic balance told a lot about the person. She raised her head to where she heard the person stop and listened to the males voice as he asked her to attend her first mission. " I'm up for it" she replied.

Dresden Carmack inclined his head slightly on reflex, forgetting she was blind momentarily. He looked to Alyssa, and then back to Jaseh. "That's good."
He looked through his files, and found the file he was after; the one with the mission that had been selected for her by Dante himself. It seemed that he had already had his eye on her, and given thought to where she should go. Despite his carefree and exuberant nature, he really was one to think deeply before doing something stupid.
"Here. You've been assigned a mission from the head of the Aquilas Clanhouse, Dante, that says you are to accompany a small troupe, currently advised to be heading to this location. The key members of this group are a tall, redheaded man and a stern looking young woman, plus two shock troopers. I've been told they'll be here in a short while." he paused, taking in her reactions.
"Your assignment; is to accompany and protect the redheaded man, to the best of your abilities. It also gives a note direct from Dante himself to you, regarding this man: 'As strong as he is, he needs as much support as possible. Don't get killed, and don't let him die. Doubtful as either of those possibilities are, be cautious.' and so it seems it's definite that he's got this assignment on a permanent basis for you, until it is stated otherwise. Are you content with this?" he asked.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roaring across the plain outback region outside Perth, Raxel and his rag-tag rebellion headed directly for the GDS Warehouse, in order to acquire some heavy-duty equipment. They needed to organise their supplies and set-up what they intended to do from here on out, as from now would come executing and hunting those beasts that would intend harm on the humans that Raxel's former self was so willing to protect.
"Why are humans worthy of our time?" he asked the wind, as though his past self was listening in.
The two bikes and the warthog pulled to a stop outside the GDS Warehouse. It was time for them to equip. Pulling off his helmet and glasses, he began to make his way into the Warehouse.
"Let's get this over with." he said to Butch, Manik and Rewin.
((OOC: I hope this gets all of us on track again. Just a shame I won't have internet for a long while again... -_-))

Leon nodded. 'Roger that. Butch, grab any gear you can. I'm gonna quickly talk to the science types inside. I wanna see all our equipment and tech ready in half an hour.' Butch saluted. 'Sir, yessir!' and off he went.
Leon, however, headed towards the Manipulation labs, and right into main office to talk to the supervisor. 'I need an additional level gene. Something stealthy, fast but still strong. Is that do-able?' The female who ran the division typed a few things in, adjusted her glasses and typed some more. 'Why, yes, actually. Also, we've received intel that you've reacted to your current gene class too well for you to stay where you are. In addition to giving you another class, we can also upgrade your current one to a similar style, but with enhanced capabilities.' This was too good to be true, but Leon smiled and nodded anyway. 'Let's do it.'
In the OR, Leon was laid out on a cold steel table with cords and all other manner of things sticking in and out of his body. Under anaesthetic, Leon was in a deep sleep, but his subconsciousness could feel it's body getting stronger with each passing minute.

Jaseh listened carefully for the mission she was given. Did this guy still not realise that she was blind? She couldn't tell who these people where from their appearance, the guy was just wasting his breath. Though she remained poliet and decided not to bother him with it... she had other ways on telling who she was after. Nodding to the man she placed her hand on her hip and tilted her head slightly, her ponytail brushing over her shoulder. "What is the males name?" She asked, trying to require as much information as possible.

Carmack looked enquiringly at Jaseh; haven't, himself forgotten her blindness, for a second time. It was apparent that hair colour meant nothing to the woman. But the details of the group were highly secret. Even he didn't know them. At least, not all of them.
"Unfortunately; we have no knowledge of the redheaded man's name. Though we do know the names of those accompanying him: Sargeant Leon Manik, his underman, Corporal Daniel Butch and Rewin. Rewin's a Hunter class, and so she's been assigned as an escort on the unknown man's missions, whatever they may be. You are too escort him, and, should the need arise; protect him. It seems, that he has some value. But that's the extent of my information."
At that moment, his two-way, in his hear blared into life. He heard his direct underling state something important: "Carmack, sir. The redheaded man's party has arrived. Corporal Daniel Butch is being debriefed and reassigned. Sargeant Leon Manik is undergoing surgery to engage enhancements. Rewin and the redhead are heading towards the weapons caches." "Excellent." he responded, and removed his finger from the ear-phone. "Well, Jaseh. It appears they've arrived. If you'll kindly follow me, we can meet him together."
-----------------------------------------------
Having separated from Leon and Butch, Rewin and Raxel waited at the gates, speaking to one of the guards, who swept aside his squad, and let them through. It seemed that they were expected. He could only imagine what awaited him this time. The last location he knew, was filled with scumbags. He only hoped this one was different.
Rewin, Butch and himself were led through to the weapons warehouse by some attendants. From there, a young woman came, asking for Butch. He looked at her, and saluted.
"Corporal, I have orders from the top, reassigning you to a new ODST squad. Here are the papers. Leon Manik is being temporarily removed from active ODST rosters, to work with your current companions. But you have been selected to remain at ODST." she handed him the papers when she finished talking.
Flipping through the information, he went from bland expression, to shocked, to enraged. "Man, this is such bull! Sorry ma'am, but I don't like the look of these orders. Leon gets to stick with these guys, and I get shipped off?! Not cool!" he spoke roughly. "Orders are orders, aren't they? Besides, she mentioned a promotion. That's a benefit, right?" Raxel responded coldly. "Well...yeah...but it seems fishy." "Tough. You don't want to get AWOL listed." he responded, surprised at his own knowledge of terminology.
Butch looked confused, then sobered up. Nodding, he saluted, and departed with the lady. It seemed he no longer seemed upset with the decision, that Raxel could tell, at least. Well, that was one less person for them to worry about, in the long run.
Traveling through the building with their guides, Raxel and Rewin looked through their artillery and weaponry options. They weren't limited; only by their grade. And both had obtained some equipment a couple grades higher than what they were supposed to be allowed, due to Dante's letter, and the facility in which Raxel began his new life. Soon thereafter, however; a woman and doctor looking man joined them.
"Excuse me, but are you the new arrivals? Hunter Rewin and the redheaded man?" he asked. "I suppose we are. Who's asking?" he resonded, maintaining his cold tone. "I am doctor Carmack. I bring Guardian Jaseh, who has been assigned to protect the redheaded man. I assume, is you." he appeared slightly taken aback, by Raxel's tone. "Another member?" he exchanged a look with Rewin. One more of disappointment and disdain, than anything else. "Afraid so." "Fine. You, woman. What are you capable of in combat scenarios?" he asked, coldly and frankly. He was going to test her usefulness before deciding on whether she'd be of any use, or not.

Rewin followed through the assorted different locations in general silence, not really inclined to offering up any conversation or opinion. She did finally speak up however when they were informed by a doctor that they would be joined by a Guardian, who was tasked with protecting Raxel. She was quite displeased about this. "Am i not good enough now?" She grumbled beneath her breath irritably as Raxel turned his attention to the other woman. Rewin didn't find her particularly impressive, not that she made a habit out of finding ANYONE impressive. She just didn't much like the idea of MORE company, it was bad enough she had to deal with two MEN, she did NOT want to have to 'get along' with another woman. This just wasn't how Rewin rolled.

It was a while before Leon made it out of the surgery, and when he did, he didn't feel any different. He turned to face the head doctor there at the time and asked him about the changes. It was rather disconcerting to see the doctor grin. 'We decided to change your resulting shift. Instead of being a light-weight shadow-dasher, we turned you into something magnificent. Something I myself am rather proud of. Follow me, and we will place you through the necessary processes.'The doctor turned on his heels and walked through a lab door, beyond which was complete darkness. Curious, Leon followed. The moment the door shut behind him, the soldier was grabbed by about three heavily built people and thrown against a flat-bed that was raised at a 45 degree angle. Leon was quickly bolted in by his ankles, wrists and waist, and when he tried to get out, he was electrocuted. 'Now now, Leon, you need to sit still for what we're about to activate within you. Otherwise you may risk permanent deformity and mental instability.'Knowing that the doctor was probably right, Leon settled right down. He heard a single clap of joy. 'Just get on with it.'The doctor chuckled darkly. 'Alright, alright. We changed who you are entirely; both physically, mentally, and socially. Your changes will be activated as I talk about them. Your eyes have gone through a occipital capillary reversal, enabling you to see clearer and further than before, as well as the somewhat limited ability to see in the dark.' As he finished talking, Leon's vision instantly changed from pitch-black to a comfortable normal shade. He was able to see who grabbed him with ease, and noticed that these guys were HUGE. 'We've injected protein intramuscularly, making your muscle tissue denser, with a side effect of making your lactase recovery time almost non-existent.' Leon instantly FELT stronger, but thought it best if he left the testing for later. 'Another change is carbide ceramic ossification. We grafted your bones with ceramics to make them almost indestructible. You won't notice this change was already made to give your bones the chance to survive the muscle increase. One last one is that we superconducted fibrification of your neural dendrites. Your reflexes will be as much as 300% faster. You will also notice a marked increase in creativity, memory, and intelligence.' Leon listened intently. These new changes were huge. None of these had been made before, from what he'd heard, and it seemed from the doctors initial reaction, he was right. 'Can I be let go now? I wanna be able to move around.' Just as he finished talking, Leon was dropped to the ground. He moved his arm, which moved WAY too fast for him. The doctor chuckled and switched on the lights. Expecting it to be super bright, Leon was astounded to see his vision change with the light. 'You'll need to get used to your new body. You will have to practice each movement slowly and deliberately until you get the hang of it again.' In fifteen minutes, Leon was ready for the next part. The doctor handed him a document. 'This is your new identity. You will no longer be known as Leon Manik. Your new name, and alias, is Knight. Everyone who you've encountered who's gone under a surgical change will know who you now are.' 'That makes things easy.' The doctor smiled at that. 'Yes, we thought it might.' Knight folded the document. 'Now, I'm assuming I have some kind of armour or something, cause there's no way I'd be fighting monsters like this.' 'And you're right. You get something we call the Sethios.' Now incredibly interested, Knight gestured on for him to continue on. 'Right this way.' Knight followed the doctor to an ara of the room he'd spotted before, thanks to his vision, but it was still obscured by a sheet of what seemed like bullet-proof fogged glass.
((For amour image: www.bungie.net/projects/reach/images.aspx?c=53&i=26968))
As they approached, the glass disappeared, and it revealed a magnificent suit of armour. Knight ran his hand over the metal. 'How does it work?' 'It works by giving you enhancements that enable you to run at speeds of up to forty kilometres an hour, lift two tons, and other things we haven't been able to test.' 'Awesome. Get me in.' An hour later, Knight was all strapped into the armour. 'Right, you'll feel a tingling. That's just your energy shields charging. Your shields will protect you from most blows, other than direct impacts from explosives, and extended damage. After that, the armour starts taking the hits. You'll also notice that your helmet has a HUD that details what two weapons you're carrying, your currently equipped weapons remaining ammunition, a shield and health bar, an aiming reticle, and a motion that shows your how far away your enemies and allies are, and what elevation they're at. It'll also highlight major threats on the battlefield, and display where your team mates are. in the bottom left hand corner there's a little dial. That tells you how long you can activate your Stalker unit, which renders you almost invisible, as well disabling any radar equipment in a radius of twenty five metres around you. Other abilities available to you are the Armour Lock unit, that makes you an immovable and invincible object for about twenty seconds.' Knight wasn't really listening. He was too busy trying not to drool inside the armour. 'Can I go now? I need to get back to my team.' 'Of course. Run along now.'

Jaseh remained quiet while the doctor spoke with a man which was appartently her assignment. She grinned slightly at the males voice... she would be able to easily pick him out now, it was so defined. His tone and manner though was not going to scared Jaseh, she was up for anything. " Quick Sir, faster than most " she turned her head towards the floor where she sensed Rewin was standing, lifting up again to the cold toned man, brushing her fringe slightly off her covered her eyes. " I guess you will just have to trust me if you want to know the full extent" she smiled sweetly, hoping the man didn't judge on her fragile appearance.

He remained unimpressed. They decided that a frail looking young woman, would be necessary to help him? Not to mention, her blindness. He honestly felt they were all insulting him. He knew Rewin was capable. Having sensed a strength of Soul from her. A warrior soul. Stern, strong and determined, unfaltering.
But, with this new woman; he couldn't sense anything. Her soul felt too regular for him. When they first met, Raxel had felt the same with Leon, and Butch. He realised, more thna anything; he'd be more likely trying to keep this woman alive, than the other way around. He sighed, and dropped his head. A motion only the doctor and Rewin would see, due to this new one's absolute blindness. It only seemed to get worse.
"Fine. But know now, that I won't rescue you if you fall behind. Ever. The same applies for Rewin and that ODST from before...Sargeant Manik, I think it was. Anyway; just don't lag behind."
He looked back to Rewin, hoping to catch her eye this time as he rolled his own. It was apparently one of those days. He then looked to the doctor, and began to speak.
"While we're all here. There was something I was required to do. Doctor Ross had requested I undertake some Advancement at this Branch...before his untimely death." he chuckled slightly at that, with only Rewin, himself and the two ODST's knowing anything about Ross' existence, let alone how it ended.
"Ah, of course. Information was sent our way. If you would kindly follow Miss Summers, she will lead you to the Gene-room." the doctor responded, and Raxel's eyebrow raised at the final words.
"I'll find you both later. If you can find Manik; and regroup. The less time here, the better." he said to both Rewin and Jaseh, though with more direction at Rewin. "I'm sure they'll direct you to a living quarters, or something." he finished, as she led him towards his Gene-room activation soon to come.
