Evie whimpered a little when Sero stopped, jogging up to him and desperately looping her arms around his waist. She was beginning to tire now, and her feet were sore from walking through the forest. She sobbed softly into his chest, but didn't utter so much as a word in reply.

Stephan seemed hesitant to give this stranger his name. One part of him laughed and said that giving his name to a hermit in the middle of a forest was less dangerous than giving it to a woman in the middle of a village. The other half of him berated him for ever giving his name to ANYONE.
In the end, the first half won, the Prince deciding that they were at more of a risk if they insulted this stranger.
"It's Stephan," he announced firmly.

Leilani remained silent behind Stephan. The fewer people she interacted with, the better, but she wouldn't simply ignore the newcomer. She didn't want to be rude. She would only speak if spoken to.

Sero tried to muse the girls sobbing by picking her up with his ungloved arm, he didn't want her to cry. "I havent exactly been out in the sun much" he said to Meira with a slight smile making his way to the boulders in the middle of the clearing. He was ill... and injuried but he wanted to see that Evie was better first. Most of all though, he was tired. He hadn't slept since he had escaped that prison. " Is it safe to stay here" he murmered.

Meira merely frowned, making it clear she didn't believe him, but she made no comment on the matter for the moment, instead turning her attentions to what Sero had just murmured. "as safe as it gets in these parts...there's still danger lurking in the trees but there's little chance of it doing us any harm in the open." she commented, tugging at her hood gently.
