The prince flushed in embarrasment as he was reprimanded. "let's just not relay this event to Shikir... i want to live till coronation..." He looked down at the girl. "Once everything is cleaned up here i need a small troop to accompany me back to the capital where we can treat her... and you too Aanu." The prince said, his voice filled with authority.

Aanu merely grunted, simply shrugging and nodding accordingly. "Fair enough, though I still think you should be a little more aware of your surroundings, Prince. Personally, I believe that Shikir might need to know, after all. He IS your advisor, after all...and he'd probably find out on his own, anyways." He chuckled slightly, though he flinched shortly after. What? Even though he was built for battle, that did not mean that he was invincible. He was still in pain despite his joking manner.

Stephan gave a light hearted frown as he looked at Aanu, feeling more then subsequently reprimanded already, without the addition of Shikir's pending reaction. "Alright i'll tell him... but only because if i don't you'll dob on me." He winced as he envisioned being cuffed over the ear by his long time mentor... it was not a pretty vision. He remained silent as he headed for the southern fields where the survivors were being treated. There were barrels of water with ladels that the company had brought with them. They'd been cracked open and were being given to the refugees. The worried looking warriors cheered when they saw the Prince, Aanu and Jarl come over the hill.
Some men were still in the village, dousing the fire, but most now waited for the next move. "We need to get the refugees back to the capital. You 10 will accompany Aanu, the refugees and I back to the city. Jarl will continue the patrol. It would seem this war has already begun." He beckoned over the wagons that used to carry their supplies, which were now being strung to spare horses and began loading refugees on them. "Aanu." He said, turning to his savior after gently placing the girl in the back of the wagon where an elderly woman agreed to keep an eye on her. "Can you ride? If not there is space in the wagon for you." He turned to accept the reigns of his and Aanu's horses from the Gorallan that brought them.

Aanu regarded the prince while also keeping an eye on the other survivors and warriors present. He nodded to each of them that he made eye contact with before suddenly being addressed by the prince. Turning to face him, a flinch following shortly thereafter, he scoffed. "Of course I can ride, Prince. I am not so injured that I cannot stay on my horse!" He stated with pride. Of course, to be honest, Aanu was not exactly sure if he could. Ha ha. He would definitely try to remain upright though, that was for sure!
His reputation was at stake here! x3

The Prince gave a grin, a cheeky glint in his eye as he patted the coil of rope that hung from his saddle. "I can tie you in place if it comes to it." He laughed and brought Aanu's mount forward. "I suppose you can mount by yourself to?" He looked at Jarl who was sniggering quietly to himself.
It was Gorallan blood to be as stubborn as a mule. Many years ago he remembered now, he'd fallen off his horse and broken his arm, yet he still sparred, jousted and rode with it that way for three days. Gorallan's healed quickly and easily making injuries that much more bearable. "Stop goading his pride Your Highness, a Gorallan with a bruised ego is more dangerous then a bull and a red flag." He laughed wolfishly.

Aanu was seriously tempted to spout of an insult towards the prince, but he refrained and merely snorted in his general direction. Though, he did mutter something that he hoped the little arrogant twit would hear. "Hmph, somebody seems to have failed in teaching the crowned prince manners....probably Shikir. I should have a word with the man so he can keep a tighter leash on the boy..." Of course, he was only joking - humorous intentions quite obvious judging by the smirk on his face. Either way, he hobbled over to his stead, placed a hand on the horn of the saddle, and hauled himself (painfully, for he was wincing the entire time) up and onto the horse. "Sh*t...that hurt..." He groaned, lifting his uninjured arm and pinching his nose....attempting to keep the world steady rather than swimming before his eyes. Not cool, man, not cool.
Either way, he was UP! Yay! Aanu was already on a steady route to recovery.

The prince watched Aanu mount up, an amused look on his face, before turning to Jarl. "Mop up here and then continue along the patrol route. I'll have the men that accompany me now rejoin the patrol once matters are sorted in the city. I may not be able to return though... i'll have much to do i suspect... organising lodgings for refugees in the future."
"I understand your highness." Jarl said with a small bow and a smirk. "Don't grumble the whole way home Aanu." He taunted before turning to rejoin the men that were continuing the patrol with him.
The Prince turned and mounted his steed athletically, steering his mount to the front of the now well assembled column, slightly smaller soldier wise then before, it was still a large enough group, with a group of refugees filling two wagons in the middle. "Move out!" He called and the entire column began moving back the way they'd come. Though it wasn't noticeable, the prince was still seething over this attack, the only evidence that broke through his calm exterior was a smolder in his eyes.

Lexa dismounted Rado slowly in disbelief as she washed her eyes over the burning village which flames roared over the roofs and the houses crashed down onto the sooty ground. Rado held back as Lexa walked strongly forward toward the middle of the town. Her eyes full of anger and her fists clenched tightly. She crashed down on her knees with her eyes closed and one hand holding onto her only ring. Then suddenly Lexa opened her eyes to a sound of faint laughing. She picked herself up and sliced out her sword towards the wounded man who laughed contagiously beside to burnt house. He did not flinch at the draw of her sword nor the straight face that stared upon him. So Lexa lifted up her boot and slammed it on his neck breaking him out of his giggling, and pleading for mercy. "Who did this" whispered Lexa in a courageous and forceful voice. He did not reply. "Who did this!" she placed more pressure on the burned man's throat. "Hello Lexa, ... i see this brings back a few memories for you.. i remember that day too" he snickered in his pain and stared deeply into Lexa's grey and blue eyes. "Where are the survives, AND DON'T TELL ME THERE WAS NOT ANY!" Lexa broke out. " i remember you, and you put me through great pain... and now it's your turn" " Lexa i would never hurt you, you were such a good girl... by the way hows your brother doing, last time i saw him he was holding in the blood gushing out of his heart. I dont believe you were there to save him, were you. I dont believe you ever were. Just goes to prove you were always weak." Lexa aimed her sword at his gut and removed her boot. "They are heading back to the city" " i have never forgotten your beautiful face.. why do you hide it" The man screeched to his death as Lexa pierced him through the heart and out again. he laid there still with a look of peril to his face. " I'm not like that anymore... Mezzo." Lexa stared at his bloddy body as her tears carried the dirt off her face. She walked back to Rado who had begun to snort everywhere by sniffing in dandelions. She mounted upon him and turned him away from the wreckage.

((You probably wouldn't post in castle for the mere fact that random people (especially mysterious one's like your character) just wouldn't be allowed in easily, but really, you can post wherever you like ))
