[Cloud Strife]

A nod followed. "I see. I figured you would say something like that. Fine then, it seems that I may join you. After all, I cannot allow you to be alone when this place does fall to chaos, insanity, and ruin." A small smirk was upon his face as she spoke of Arc. "Mm, you'd be surprised, Bjarlza. That man knows far more than you give him credit for. He knows what he's doing, no matter what it looks like." Such blind faith...haha pun. Not intended, mind you. xD

As he spoke all of this, he listened to her as well. However, as she spoke the last part, one of his taloned hands extended forth abruptly; gripping her wrist and tugging her towards him in a vain attempt at shaking her out of whatever stupor she was about to fall into. "Don't ever say anything like that, again, you understand? Everyone here deserves saving. Do not think that one other person holds greater priority over you. Those are thoughts for fools and fools alone. You, Bjarlza, are no fool. I know this..." He emit, his voice harsh yet still holding some kindness in it. The bat hated it when people berated themselves. It was just one of those things that he hated. "And why you, you ask? Because you are one of the only individuals that has actually been willing to approach me. You are special. At least...that is what I think."

Bjarlza's eyes suddenly widened as Kilja told her she was special. A tear rolled along her well featured face but she didn't care, she still stared at him in awe.
For a brief moment she thought she saw her fiance looking at her, telling her she was special. It was all to much and she collapsed to her knees in tears.
"Why are you so kind to me? Look what i do with my life! I don't actually care for anyone i make love to, they're strangers.... i'm just some freaking whore you met at the inn. Whats special about that." She sobbed.

Kilja smelled the scent of salt, instantly clueing him in that she was very close to letting the waterworks begin. Oh great. Just great. Instantly, without any hesitation whatsoever, the bat reached foreward to grasp her wrist; tugging her towards him in a hug. Amazing what a blind man can do. "Mm, but you know that what you do is frowned upon. Most....'whores'....as you put it enjoy what they do. You are no whore. Don't say such a thing about yourself." After speaking he let a ghost of a smile appear. "I am kind to you, because you have shown me kindness in return. It isn't something I've ...well...felt from another person before. Kindness is oftentimes cruel to me." He continued to hold her there. "I'll say it again. You are special. More special than you can ever imagine. Don't think ill of yourself...I may be blind, but I know a good person when I meet them. I am no fool."

Bjarlza sniffed, feeling warm and comfortable in Kilja's grasp.
"If you say so.... i'll believe you." She said quietly, turning her eyes to gaze at the statue of her god.

Kilja simply continued to hold her close, waiting for her crying to completely cease. A taloned hand would gently rub her back, pointed ears twitching from time to time just in case she continued. The bat's wings were folded against his form as he listened to her silently...though he soon spoke again. "Mm...You'll believe me? Thank you..." With that, he would then rest his chin upon the top of her head, silently wishing he could see this woman's face for himself...

Bjarlza dozed off his Kiljas embrace. But it wasn't a natural sleep... she had gone as she has so much, to find the god she'd devoted herself too... she had a favour to ask.

In the dream realm in which Bjarlza had drifted, Dro'Shanjii was resting beneath a large, blossoming tree. He was a physical being in the dream world, leaning his back against the tree with one leg crossed over his knee. His hands were behind his head, and he appeared to be napping. However, he sensed Bjarlza's arrival in the realm. "Ah, FoxChild..." He emit while sitting up and grinning at her. This was his nickname for her. "It has been awhile since we last spoke. What can I do for you?" He inquired while canting his head to the side.

Bjarlza hugged her tail to her chest. What she wanted to ask was a big thing.
"Greetings lord Dro'shanjii. I came wondering if i could have a favour... i would not normally ask such things of a god who has shown as much kindness as you... but i really think more the one person would appreciate this..." She took a deep breath and swallowed.
"Can you make my friend Kilja see.... just once at least... please?" She practically begged. She knew she could get away with things to a certain extent when speaking with her god... he seemed to favour her quite highly.

Dro'Shanjii gave her a pondering look, emitting a sort of murr-like vocalizations. His tail was twitching behind him and his ears were swivelling atop his head in thought. "Your request is not one that I can give lightly, FoxChild. However, I do believe that I can do something for him." A wink followed before lifting a taloned mitt and motioning for her to come closer. "Approach me, dear FoxChild." He murmered while still giving her a large grin.

There was no fear in the vix's eyes. This god held a special place in her heart.. it was maybe why his followers thought they were related. She walked forward and knelt at the gods feet.

[Cloud Strife]

Dro'Shanjii let a smile appear even more than it had been before. A single hand lifted, placing it upon her head. "I grant thee the ability to give sight unto the one you wish, Dear FoxChild." He emit. Suddenly a warm, yellow-looking glow ensnared Bjarlza; the wish being granted. However, it was she whom had to relay the sight. After all, Dro'Shanjii knew not of Kilja. The only one whom he enjoyed speaking with was Bjarlza. xD "There. All done. Now, go back to your boyfriend and give him his sight back." A wink followed as he then placed a kiss to her forehead. "You've truly got a heart of gold, no matter what anyone else says. Now, go back to your friend."

Bjarlza's jaw dropped.
"Pardon my misunderstanding... but do you mean permanantly or temporarily?" She blinked rapidly, trying to think of how much this would suprise Kilja.

[Cloud Strife]

Dro'Shanjii simply smiled. "I am not a cruel individual, FoxChild. If I were to make it temporary, I'd be cruel...giving him what he cannot have. That isn't very fair, now is it?" He emit softly. The God knew very well that giving something to someone was the greatest gift you could recieve. Especially the smile that came at the end. "Now, go give him this delightful gift...so he can see the beautiful world in which you live."

Forgetting all her composure the vix squealed and hugged Dro'shanjii warmly.

Moments later she opened her eyes. "Kilja! Close your eyes for me." She placed her fingertips on his closed eyes and held them there for a moment.
She didn't realise there were ferlasans there to witness the miracle. She removed her hands and looked him in the face.
"Look at me Kilja." She whispered.

Kilja was exceedingly confused. At first he'd been drifting off into a slight sleep-like state but then he was abruptly woken by Bjarlza pressing her finger tips over his eyelids. "W-What is going on, Bjarlza?" He inquired confusedly, only then open his eyes. Those crimson orbs widened to the size of plates, staring straight at the Vixen. The bat's mouth was opened slightly, jaw slackened by the miracle that had just been given. "B-Bjarlza...w-what did...how did....this cannot be possible...I...You are Bjarlza. I can see that now." He swallowed thickly, multiple different emotions surfacing to his usually chilled facial features. "I cannot believe it...I really can't.." Kilja trailed off, reaching foreward to envelop the Vixen in a hug; keeping her close and whispering into one of those fox ears of hers. "Thank you....from the bottom of my heart, I thank you. I'll not be able to repay you back for quite some time...so in return..." He cut himself off before continuing, "I'll tell Arc of my resignation. I cannot be an assassin anymore for now I can see the imperfections of just about everything. Besides, the debt I now owe you is one that I find to be extremely steep. Allow me to devote myself completely to you...act as your personal bodyguard or whatever it is you wish of me." He smirked slightly. "And for the record, I was most definitely right about you being gorgeous. Stunning really." He pulled back briefly, his hands resting on her shoulders in a firm, yet gentle grip. A single taloned digit would rise to run along her jawline. "Amazing..." That ugly glazed over look that was usually always on his features had completely disappeared...thus allowing his crimson orbs to sparkle and gleam like never before.
