"Pardon me?" Chess smiled at the the little critter tugging at his clothes and he would chuckle before turning to glance in the direction one' was pointing. He'd narrow his eyes and stare at the cloaked Jakoid before glancing back at the fox. He couldn't take chances where there was a possible threat, "Pardon me ladies but this bar seems to be a magnet for trouble tonight" he'd say in all seriousness while cupping the mere handful of a fox in his hand so it didn't fall and standing up. He then moved over and sat at the Prince and Jakoid's table. He seemed to be good at just sitting down where he wasn't invited ^^;; but hey, it could proove worth it one day. "Good day" he'd say with a smile at the two men; not that he even knew who the prince was. He wasn't taking chances at a civilian being harmed where he could have stopped it.
Chess placed the fox down on the table infront of him behind a used beer mug.

The prince glanced up at the stranger and recognised Chess one of his good friends among the city guard. He quickly hid his face. "Good day...." He said in a false growling voice. A small brawl broke out across the room when one man claimed someone through something at him and all the others denied it... quite odd and fortunate really the prince didnt want a guard recognising him.

The jakoid smirked slightly, only to avert his attention to the guard that had seated himself next to him. Great. Just what he needed. He let a sneer appear upon his features before addressing the one whom had just arrived. "May I help you?" He practically hissed, quite displeased with his abrupt arrival. As for the prince, he'd leave him to his own devices until they were alone again.
Meanwhile, the little bat clung to Bjarlza, hoping against hope that the one the vix was looking for would be there. x-x [castle]

Flick's shoulders drooped automatically when she heard Chess's words. What had he done now? When he left, she turned back to the gypsy. "I don't like the sound of that," she sighed.

Ailea nodded and chuckled before turning to the direction of the brawl behind her. "And he may be right" she gulped, hoping it wouldn't reach them. Chess also turned to see the fight start but was glad to see it separated by the bartender; at least they were good for more then serving beer ^^ He then turned back to the citizen and the Jakoid, "No" he said plainly and truthfully almost; there was nothing to help him with... but then... he heard a faked voice. clearly faked xD there must be something going on, he thought and that was what made him stay. Ezcactly. where. he. was. But he did get out a pocket knife and spin it in his fingers idley. he made it seem as in it was a random thing. But this was quite on purpose.

"Don't worry," Flick assured her, glancing over at the small brawl. "They'll sort themselves out. Only time when a really bad brawl breaks out is when Jskar is here."

Just then as if they'd heard her, one of the men in the brawl got out of his captor's grip and punched the other to the ground. A few from the sides joined in to defend there mates.
Chess blew his cheeks out before giving a slightly annoyed chuckle and looking around at the two men, "if you'd excuse me?" he nodded and spun out of the seat to go handle the brawl.
"Eat your words" Ailea joked, looking over her shoulder again to see the brawl once again starting

"Oh dear goddess," Flick sighed, watching Chess and the bartender rush back over to break up the new brawl. "Maybe Chess is right... this place is going to the dogs."

The Jakoid, upon realizing that Chess was otherwise occupied, let a chilling smirk appear upon his features. 'Bad. Move. Buddy.' He thought before suddenly reaching over and gripping Stephan by the front of his shirt; clamping a hand over his mouth. Of course, this was assuming this would work. If it did, he'd sling the boy over his shoulder and high-tail it out of that bar. Also, upon doing so, he'd go behind the building and toss the kid to the ground; drawing his sword and aiming it at him. Again, this was only assuming his initial attack had worked. If it hadn't...well, then there would be more than just one brawl going on. Heh...

The princes eyes widened as the obvious assasin grabbed him. His hand went to his sword and he rammed the hilt into the jakoids abdomen, in an attempt to gain a better footing should he be dropped. He couldnt cry out and his head began to spin as he couldnt breathe. His hood slipped back revealing indefinatly who he was.
The tiny fox began to go phsyco screaming to try and get its voice over the brawl. It jumped up and down and point frantically.

Hearing the voice of the fox, Flick turned sharply, the easily identifiable face of the Prince catching her eye. He seemed to be in trouble. Why was he here anyway? There was no time to think, however, and Flick quickly made her way over as everyone else seemed too involved in the brawl nearby. If something wasn't right, she DID have the capability to sort things out, despite her shy and fragile personality.

Kilja emit a sort of grunt upon recieving the hilt to his gut, however he didn't let go! Not yet! The bat hissed and leaned foreward to get right up next to his ear. "Bad move, kid." He whispered before attempting to gain a better grip on the boy so as to yank him out of the tavern. Again, if this wouldn't work, he'd start the attack inside and risk the prospect of jailtime. It would be fine. If he got thrown in jail, then he would get him out. As long as he completed his job, the bat was 'fine'.
As for the attack, should anything go wrong, the bat would aim a sound punch to the boy's stomach; aiming to knock him out temporarily. Yes, for a blind guy, Kilja knew what he was doing. The Jakoid wanted to make the Prince's death swift; almost completely painless...but it didn't seem like this was meant to be. *sigh*

Tarsha was outside the tavern she had seem and taken interest in earlier in the day. The sun was dimming on horizon now but she could still make it out from the others around; and plus her connection with her brother knew he was there, even if she herself didn't. Tara moved forward with Tarsha's soft pressure on her sides. Horses technicaly didn't go into tavern... but hey, there was a fox and a bat in there already, why not add a horse? Make it a farmyard.
Tarsha entered the tavern to the greeting of grunts, yelling and the sight of many people flinging their weight around. Her eyes were drawn to the centre of the brawl close to the entrance but she could not even find a hooded person and so she knew her brother was not there. She then caught site of a Jakoid hauling someone of simular height to her brother exiting through the back. She watched on as her brother was revieled and her heart skipped a few beats before her face became quite... angry. No one messed with her brother. Even if he was acting like a prute!

Upon realising the seriousness of the situation, the bat trying to haul the Prince out of the tavern, Flick followed in silence, picking up a large metal crow-bar on her way. Creeping up behind the bat as quietly as possible, knowing his hearing was much more sensitive due to his blindness, she took a hard swing at the back of his head in hope to knock him out. She had had practise with this before, having successfully done the same to Jskar when he was in one of his aggressive moods. >.<
