Lupin gave a slightly sheepish chuckle when Bali became confused by his way of speech. "Eh, sorry for the mix-up Bali. I tend to confuse others quite easily....unfortunately." With a small shrug, he planted another small lick to Maia's cheekbone before turning to gaze upon Bali. "My, you certainly do seem rather thin. How about, once this blasted storm dies down, we all go for a pack hunt. After all, I'm sure everyone's starving...I just hope there's enough food around here for all of us.." A sigh would follow this, as he started to think about the possibilities and how many problems the damned humans caused. Curse them.

Maia sighed and layed her head on the save floor, she would miss the hunt, and the thrill of the catch. She could no longer participate having her eyes stolen from her. Sure she could smell and hear but that was not enough. She could still stay here and watch the cubs? Yes, perhaps that's what she'll do.

Bali looked toward the entrance 'they seem to be saying that a lot' she thought to herself before turning back to lupin with a slight blush, not actually wanting to say why. The truth was... she didn't know how to hunt. But she covered up the nervousness as best she could and looked at Maiaand tilted her head to the left, she still did not understand what was wrong with her vision.

maia sensed Bali's gaze on her and she turned to where she sensed her. "It is ok to wonder Bali, but i cannot answer you." She then lay her head down on Lupin's paws.

Lupin merely watched as the two females conversed with each other temporarily. A sigh erupted as he placed a small nudge to Maia's cheekbone. "Mm, I do believe it has something to do with the experiments performed on us. I for one, am the result of such ungodly experimentation." A discusted snort sounded as he continued. "I just hope that there is a way to help her. I don't wish to see her suffering any longer...."

Maia smiled and nuzzled her mate. "It cannot be all bad, i'm sure i'll find my purpose sight or not. While you go hunting i'll stay here with the pups, perhaps that is what i'm meant to do." Her voice was not confident but it was strong.

Bali admired her optimism but had hardly any of her own. She would merely live a boring sad life with no friends until the day she died and then be eaten like them all; that's how she thought so far. She heard another thump and she guessed a large snow ball must have hit the opposite side of the cave wall. She wrapped her motionless tail around her legs tightly and crumped her paws together as ight as possible, it was so cold.

A sigh followed his mate's vocalizations as he administered yet another nuzzle to her cheekbone. "Mm, I sure do hope you are right M'dear. Simply take it easy for a while. I am certain that the pups won't mind you being with them." He glanced to Bali, noting that she still felt rather awkward. Lupin didn't say anything though, unsure of what it was that he should say.

Maia looked towards where bali's scent came from and for a moment she saw Bali. She was full of sorrow.... Maia saw coloured clouds around a rough siloette of the wolf. Blue, red and yellow, slight blackness hovered around her head to. Maia gasped and stared, to those around her blankly, but to her seeingingly towards Bali.

Bali lowered her head, fealing cold now she would try for sleep. She left her eyes open for a mere minute before closing them reluctantly and falling asleep. It was a very light sleep, knowing that not mch was going on, but she could still hear everword spoken... just not enough to understand what they ment.

Maia was still awed about what she was seeing. Colours and emotions everywhere. She looked at her mate... he was covered in a swirling black cloud... so... my beloved shouldn't even really be here... She whimpered slightly and lay down beside Bali closing her eyes.
