Personality: Confident and quick with a smile, kind, bright, an opportunist, but with a relatively good set of morals.
Appearance: Skin- Light golden tan from being outdoors (which he almost always is); Hair- Dark brown, kept back in small short neat braid at the base of his neck; Eyes- grayish green, like mossy stones; Clothing- A somewhat absurd purple men's dress shirt tucked into whatever good breeches he can find, with a fitted black leather vest overtop, sturdy high (covers calves) brown leather boots; Weapon- Handy with a sword, he carries two, and no other weapons aside from a tiny pistol he has yet to use.
History: Formerly a merchant until his business failed, ruined by theives. So, to survive financially he became one himself. He enjoys the adventure and comraderie.

Personality: Ultimately curious, loyal but values her life, clumsy, a dreamer and romantic, playful and sometimes mischeivous.
Appearance: Body- Medium build, not bony/skinny, but not thick/fat (Do you know what I mean?); about 5'4''; Skin- Fair; Hair- blonde, straight, reaches just past shoulder blades; Eyes- blue (but sometimes shift toward grey or green); Clothing- black short leather boots, ragged/patched brown breeches with leather belt holding pouch/sword/pistol, tattered white/offwhite longsleeved buttonup shirt/blouse (if I said poet's shirt would you know what I meant?) with a textured green vest (few tarnished brass buttons), white bandana-ish cloth around her head, many small earrings along both ears. Everything is well-worn, but not falling apart; Weapon- simple saber, flintlock pistol (she hardly ever uses), and a tiny hidden knife/dagger (almost pathetically toy like in size) in each boot.
History: Keila Flint lived as an only child with her mother when her father left them at the age of 7. A single parent with little money, Keila's mother worked long hours in a tavern, Keila working alongside as well, until the woman's job evolved into a more lucrative and demmeaning one, which Keila despised. By this time they were working at a different bar, one nearer a big city. Though she considered returning to her old job, she feared she might somehow be cursed to follow in her mother's footsteps and so decided to live near the harbor at 14. She survived as a petty theif before becoming a pirate at 16. She has been with two crews thus far in her career.

Personality: Rigid, cunning, will find a way to get what he wants, loyal, stiff but tries to be a ladies man, cool, thingyy, neat, almost perfectionist.
Appearance: Fairskinned, lithe, he enjoys wearing blues and greens, not quite delicate but sharp, always neat and dressed in mended garments. Hair- Raven black, kept back in neat ponytail; Eyes- Navy blue; Weapon- Rapier, long silver pistol.
History: He has demanded respect his whole life and will strike down any who challenges his honor (well, honor in a piratey sense, his ability and authority). He will not speak of his past, though he seems to have come from Navy background.

Personality: Down-to-earth, enjoys humor, likes to tease, pleasant but takes matters seriously.
Appearance: Hair- Loose long brown curls; Eyes- Emerald green; Weapon- Crossbow and knife.
History: Known for her good aim with her unconventional weapon, her pirating career is almost nenexistant thus far. She enjoys making men's lives, especially soldiers', miserable and so looks to join a crew to escape from a jam as her mischeif finally catches up to her. Her history before this is relatively unknown.

Hmm.....I think it'd be really neat if one of the girl characters took a liking to Slade..and tried to woo him...if you know what I mean... The reason I say that is because it'd bring up an interesting topic and a nice good bit of drama...Like..Slade could start to fall for her and not want to, etc. You know? >>; Sorry, just a brainstorm.
