[Cloud Strife]

A small, knowing smirk came across his features as he watched Kutuni ask to help with the cooking. Grin remained plastered on his face as he then spoke up. "Oi! I dun think I mentioned me name! Tha name's Slade. Jes Slade is all ye be needin' tah know." Another wink followed as he finished up with the dishes. He brushed his hands together and with a triumphant smile he turned to face the other crewmembers. "Ya see, boys? Thas how it's done. Who says a pirate cain't clean?! Har har har!" He bellowed once more in laughter and glanced to the two women speaking amongst themselves. He really did think that the women would be a great addition to the crew, though he knew that the crew could be quite rowdy. After this thought, he'd turn to face Kaine. "Aye, Cap'n. Anyting ye need me tah be doin' now? I've got nuthin' but time right 'bout now. So gimme tha werd, an' I'll be on it befer ye cain blink."

Kaine turned to Slade and nodded "Yes actually, could you move those chests and the like out of the spare cabin please." He paused to look at the girls "And have to hammocks brought their for the girl's. I'll not be havin' them sleepin' with the men." He made it sound like he didnt want to risk them temptig the men, when really it was for their own safety.

Slade:
"O'course Cap'n. All ye need tah do is issue tha order n' it'll be dun." With a small wave over his shoulder, he'd go and do as he was told, taking the chests to said locale. However, while he was doing so, he suddenly heard the shuffling of feet. Slade would freeze, pulling out the dagger he always carried on him. "Who's there? Show yurself, ye bloody rat!" Gaze shifted around the spare room, knowing someone other than himself was there...Then, a tiny dagger wizzed passed his head and imbedding itself in the wall behind him. "W-what tha?" He'd stutter but quickly regain his composure. That little surprise attack had given away the location of the intruder. The brat was behind some barrels in the far corner. T'was obvious. Slade would then slowly creep towards the barrels. "Thur now, why dontcha come outta yer hidin' spot so we cain have a lil chat, ya know? I won't 'urt ya. No point in that. 'Sides, thas tha Cap'n's job." Once he finally go to his targeted spot, he'd wrench one of the barrels and unveil...."A kid?! Wha tha hell?!" Eyes grew wide at the sight of what looked like a 12 year old boy. With aim like that, he was someone to watch out for. "Git o'er here boy!" Slade would bark, reaching foreward and roughly grasping the boy by the back of his shirt. "Lil brat. I'm takin' ye to tha Cap'n."

Jake:
Youngster had been behind the barrels, knowing that he would be found out sooner or later...and it was a huge mistake on his part to fling that dagger. He growled inwardly at his stupidity but it was cut off when the barrel was wrenched out of the way by a pretty big dude. Jake knew that he was in trouble, biiig trouble..and he was powerless to do anything about it. "Hey! Lemme go ya jerk!" He'd say when the back of his shirt was grabbed roughly by the elder man. Then, he heard him say somehting about taking him to see the Cap'n. Oh great. "There ain't no way in HELL I'm going with you to see the Cap'n. Lemme go!" As soon as he said this, he was shaken firmly which instantly shut him up. Great, now he'd probably be fed to the sharks. Well this day had only gotten worse. -_- As Slade took him upstairs to see the Cap'n, he noticed that the crew was staring at him. >_< Then...he saw the Cap'n. Uh..oh...

Kaine heard swearing and the sound of approaching footsteps. He turned to see Slade struggling with a young boy "Another one!? What made my ship so inviting to you rats!" He stalked over eyes fixed on the boy in Slades grasp.

Slade was completely and totally ticked with this youngster. For one, he nearly had his head taken from his body, and then the little brat had the nerve to yell at him. "Apparently so, Cap'n. This lil rat was rootin' 'round in that spare cabin, hidin' 'hind some barrels. What do ya wanna do with him?" Slade was still holding Jake by the back of his shirt roughly, refusing to let him go. Everytime he struggled, he gave him a small jerk to warn him to stop.

Jake was attempting to do anything and everything in his power to get out of Slade's grasp, but he just couldn't. "Lemme go ya jerks! I ain't doin' nuthin' to yas, so lemme go!" He continued to growl angrily and wrench his shirt from the man's grasp. However, when he realized his efforts were futile, a sigh escaped him and simply stood there, glaring dangerously at the Cap'n and Slade. "So, what're ya gunna do wit me now? Feed me to tha sharks?" He hissed, seethingly angry. "Well go on a'ead. I got nuthin' tah live fer anyhow." Jake continued with this statement, but after he said this he grew deathly silent. He hadn't meant to say that, it just kinda came out.

Kaine laughed as the boy spoke "Why would i throw you to the sharks when thats what you asked for?" An evil grin spread out across Kaine's face "Hello new cabin boy. Those decks are lookin' awfully mucky." He looked at slade and nodded assuming Slade knew what to do with him.

Slade:
Slade blinked. "Ya cain't be serious, Cap'n. Argh, the lil midget nearly took me head clean off! Ye can't expect me tah work with him!" Once his mini rant was finished, he'd let a defeated sigh escape. "Gah, who'm I tah judge? I dun give a damn." He'd wave a hand dismissively and go back to the cabin to retrieve the hammocks he had originally been assigned to gather. All the while, he continued to grumble and mutter incoherent curses.

Jake:
The young boy just kinda stared at the Cap'n in utter disbelief. "W-wait a minute...ya...yer lettin' me stay on board?!" Jake was in shock, he was actually going to be allowed to stay? That's when he realized what he'd be having to do. "WHAT?! CABIN BOY?! Ugh....dammit, that sucks. -_-" Eventually, he'd give up though, seeing as how he really didn't want to join the sharks for a swim. So, with that said, he wrench his shirt from Slade's grasp and give him a glare. "Just 'cause I'm on this ship, dun mean I take orders from YOU!" He said, pointing to the back of Slade. Apparently, he didn't like him much. However, he'd then turn to the Cap'n with that idolizing look in his eye. It seemed that he'd do whatever the Cap'n told him to do, and absolutely nothing that Slade asked of him.
[I'll wait for Chero now, just had to respond to Kaine's response. xD]

Zac lay sleeping in the crowsnest, he had skipped dinner as he often did. Now he rolled over to see some comotion upon the deck. Slade has caught another of them darn bilgerat stowaways hiding in the storeroom.
With no doubt the captain would put the boy under his watch. It was to far out to sea to put him ashore and the captain never threw someone overboard... unless they'd done something really bad, like that Labaro character who had tried to rouse mutany among the crew.
He rolled back over and fell asleep again though it wouldn't last long now that dinner was over.

Tiana grimaced 'poor kid' she thought as she finished her last dish and put it on a pile of clean, dry and shining others before going to stack them, "Done" she smiled at the captain, then she remembered not to let her guard down, she stopped smiling and left the room, heading down the corridor as briskly as possible, she was hoping that he wouldn't think she was being suspicious, at least for now.

She came to a door on the side and entered without hesitation. There was a desk in the middle with a map layed out, it all looked very interesting. She had to clear her head so she closed the door behind her.

Zac yawned climbing down from the crows nest. He decided to go visit the map room, it had a most wonderous view through the rear windows. He walked down a hall and psuhed open the thick oak door. He spotted a girl and instantly became suspicious. "What are you doing in here?" He asked firmly.

Katy choose not to take offense to the Captains comment on the people who had recently joined his crew were rats. "I guess your ship just smelt of cheese." She smiled, before placing the dish cloth she had been using down and smoothing her green dress, knotting her quickly messing red hair and eying the crew with her deep green eyes. "Is there such place to freshen up on a ship built for men?" she asked this question generally, anyone could answer.

Kaine looked at Katy and blinked. "No fresh water on a ship love, tis all salt. Though their is a bathroom if you feel the need to brush yer hair or something" He grinned begginning to wonder whether the girls would regret boarding his ship.

Slade:
As he continued grumbling and walking along, he went to an unused cabin and set it up for the women. He figured they'd want a room to themselves anyways. With a sigh, he set off to work, idly wondering why the new 'cabin boy' wasn't in here helping him. Then again, he much preferred the silence. -_- "Argh, t'is be an entertaining voyage I do believe, though whether thas a good thing or not is unknown." A small shake of his head would follow as he continued on with his work.

Jake:
The young boy remained by Kaine for a while, unsure of what he should be doing. After all, he hadn't been given any set orders...so...he figured that he'd just stick to the Cap'n for a while. "So, Cap'n. How'd ya get this fine vessel?" He'd ask curiously, scrutinizing his surroundings with more observation than last time. He hadn't had the necessary time to wander around when he snuck on, so he hadn't taken notice to any detail until then. Every so often, he'd send one of the crew members a glare that clearly stated not to say a word about him being there and objecting to it. You see, Jake had always wondered what it'd be like to be a pirate...looks like he'll finally get to live that little dream.

Kaine looked at the boy with a slight grin "I found what i wanted and took it, though some of the parts are bought. I just... took my money back with some interest afterwards." He grinned then went stern "Go swab the deck boy! Instead of standing here lollygagging!" He winked to the boy to show him that despite his harsh tone he was mostly kidding with him though he was to scrub the deck.
