Pirates

Katy made her way back under decks to the kitchen, relived that no one had see her incident, or at least hadn't made a fuss over it. She had good sea legs due to going on quite a few ships in her short life. She set to work on the kitchen straight away, it was hard work and needed alot of elbow grease. Once she had finished with her first lot of slop, which she had collected in no more then five minutes, she made her way back up to the deck and over to the side, tipping the slump over, right at a silver chain (XD), she thought she heard some hit the chain. On her way back she took a look around the working men, and the captain, a sturdy group they were.

Kaine smiled i did good when i hired that girl, this roudy lot could use a female aboard to keep 'em in order He span the wheel and the ship pulled away from the wharf, wind whistling through the black sails adorned with the pale blue seahorse that was Captain Kaine's symbol.

Kutuni made her way up the chain until she was up to her neck with wind blowing over the deck. It nearly forced her to lose her grip but she didn't. "Shoot" she whispered to herself when she saw that the captain was only 2-3 meters in front of her. The wind blew her voice back to her so that no one more then 5cm away would have heard her.

But she had to take her chances because the wind was getting stronger the further out to sea they got. She flung her body over the side of the ship and crept up behind the captain, he seemed totally hypnotized by the waves... or so it would seem.

Kutuni moved as quick as she could, into a room that was on top of the deck. She opened and shut the door behind her as fast as she could, pulling a fine rope so that a shutter fell down and covered a small window.

As Kutuni looked around, she noticed many fine instruments. One in particular that caught her attention was a small globe. It was made of copper and it was on a chest next to a highly-strung hammock.

Kaine thought he heard something and turned. But there was nothing there. So he returned to the wheel, once the ship was on course he left it to the men and wondered to his cabin. He walked into his heavily decorated cabin looking around as he closed the door behind him. The rug on the floor was slightly misplaced. "Hmmm..." He scratched his chin and looked around the room, someone had come in here recently and it wasn't the crew.

Kutuni swore under her breath when she saw the '''captain''' aproching the cabin.. So that's why it's so neat, never wouldv'e guessed it was a mans room she thought as he got closer. damn... why'd you have to pick this bloody room she complained and tried to find a hiding place, but the best she could find was a small section behind a chest-of-drawers. Kutuni crept over behind it and crouched down.

Kaine walked slowly across the room listening for any sounds. He smoothed out the carpet and pulled out a small hooked dagger. "Alright stowaway, i know your in here." persisntant little bugger he thought to himself.

"Well you didn't have to 'know' I was here if you'd just left me alone for a little bit, at least." She huffed and stood up with her arms folded across her ribs. There was no chance to try and change subject now Now what's he gonna do with me... this should be interesting she softly swollowed and looked at the dagger... but this time she wasn't actually TRYING to change subject, "whoa... where's that beauty from?" she didn't remove her eyes off the rubies imbedded into it.

Kaine chuckled and twirled the dagger in his hand "Like it? He tossed it to her "Keep it i got it from a merchant in the bahamas" He smiled
He was about to leave when he turned and looked back at the stowaway "Just stay out of the way And with that he left the room.

Katy had finished with the kitchen, it was very clean considering, now all she had to do was cook the food. She made her way to the store room, and rummaged away, collecting the very few food supplies; pickles, eggs, salted meat (lasts a long time), very few vegetables, and in the far corner a stack of exotic foods from places she could not even being to dream of, let alone name. She put what she had collected into the kitchen, then went up on deck to find the captain. "Hey, have you seen the Captain?" she asked a crew member "In he's room." The skinny crew member with long legs pointed the way.

"Captain?" Katy called as she got to the door, it was open, and the captain stood there, his back turned, looking at a young girl "Cap....Oh...OH....sorry, I'll come back when you are done." She turned and started to walk away.

Kaine laughed and grabbed the cook by the shoulder "We're not busy i was lecturing my latest stowaway." He grinned "What do you think i should do with her?" he asked Katy

Katy looked at the girl "Well.....I do need a female hand around her, we only left dock what two minutes ago and already I feel outta place, so if it were up to me, which its not, I'd keep her, of course, if you let her on for free, I expect my money back." She smiled "Anyway, I was here on business, how many crew members on board Captain Sir?"

Kaine scratched his chin. "I think there is 28 including me and you and the little girl here" He pointed to the stowaway. "I personally want to throw her overboard to the sharks but i'm gonna keep her here to keep you company. I'm assuming she has no money so she'll pay me back when we get somewhere where she can get me money." he stepped out of the stowaways way and gestured. "You go with her she can be as harsh as she wants with ye, Oh and remember. You mess up i throw you overboard" He pointed to Kutuni. "The rules are harsher for owing passengers"

Kutuni hated cooking and was NOT going to be thrown overboard.. she had some money that she was keeping for when they stopped at where ever they were going to... She sighed and pretended to give in "Fine... consider me paying" she said through grited teeth and stuck her hand in her pocket, it jangled for a second "How much?" she asked in a lighter tone. I hate sharks... but i hate cooking "What about i just do whatever your 'crew' do ... ha?"

Kaine laughed "Give me whatever you've got girl i'm a pirate, the more you give me the betetr treatment you receive. Plus there is NO WAY you could keep up with what the men do SO you will be helping my friend here in the kitchen UNDERSTOOD?" He smirked and held out his hand

"There" she placed a small sack of 23 gold pieces in Kaine's hand and walked passed him. Luckily she had emptied 17 gold pieces back into her pocket before giving him the payment, she had saved it all up for a few years by working for her father in the armoury and refused to let it all be given up to him. She passed the girl and turned her back on them while looking out the door at the crew "I can keep up with them" she insisted.
