Karri rolled her eyes, "fine. but only if we can have walkie-talkies and i can talk to you... i don't want to be left out Tai..." she looked down sadly and watched as Trinity pounced on Bahamut and scooted a few feet away incase there was counter attack, then got right back into it and began tugging on his ear and pawing him. She smiled at them sadly, feeling slightly defeated now Tai had laid down the law.... but.... maybe there was a way.... "or.. what if i hang back... let you two clear the way then join you and it stays like that? could we do that? please please please?"

[Tifa Lockhart]

Tai frowned and shook his head, folding his arms.
"This is NOT a negotiable matter Karri. You're to stay with Leon, i'll be as quick as i can. You'll barely notice i was away. Ok?" He raised an eyebrow and the great wolf by his side rumbled deep in its belly.

[Elario Luminus]

Leon folded his arms, all amusement gone from his face.
'Karri, c'mon. Think about this; sooner or later, you'll know what this is all about. It just can't be now. Please do your brother a favour and just stay with me, okay? Charge him a life of servitude, if you want. I don't mind, so long as you stay with me.'

Bahamut growled playfully and pawed back at Trinity, rolling and tumbling around on the grass.

Trinity noticed Karri's sudden mood change, and stopped playing straight away to jump up onto Karri's shoulder. She rested her forehead against Karri's cheek to find out what was going on.
"No!" Karri's eyes narrowed, "You won't, or if you do i come with you. OR if i'm dragged, i'll escape, and you won't even know where we are!" she jabbed her arms into the same position as her brother, and glared as best she could at Leon.

[Elario Luminus]

Leon didn't like what was happening here, but try as hard as he could to hide his mood, it displayed all too easily through Bahamut, who's teeth were bared and was growling softly, but angrily.
'Karri, don't you get it?! What you want to know is beyond your grasp at the moment! You can't do this; it's past what you can fathom. The more you fight me and your brother about it, the more we ain't gonna let you in.'
He sighed and slumped shortly before straightening himself again. Seeing that Karri wouldn't budge, he put a hand to his forehead in exasperation.
'Y'know what? Fine; Karri, talk to your brother. You two can fight it out. I'm gonna walk away, and see if I can still salvage our friendship by not getting involved. Bahamut, let's go. Catcha later, T.' He added, punching his friend lightly on the shoulder. He walked away, shaking his head, towards the car park to get his motorcycle.

When he reached it, he turned and cupped his hands around his mouth.
'If you still want, Karri, I can take you home to wait for Tai where it isn't so public!'

Tai continued to regard Karri with dark eyes and a harsh expression. His eyes followed Leon as he walked away and when he returned to Karri his eyes were even more disapproving.
"The world does not revolve with you as its center Karri. I've never pushed anything on you, i give you chances to make your own choices. So for ONCE please do as i say without making it difficult!" His expression softened a little as he spoke. He didn't like having to exclude his sister like this, but he was concerned that it might not be the best thing for her right now, and as her guardian he'd been forced to grow up and take charge.
"I just want to be VERY careful, because things could get complicated..." He sighed and rubbed his forehead, "if it makes you happy we can get a some walkie talkies so you can check on me from time to time. OK?"
