Bahamut circled around Leon's feet, looking at Trinity curiously as if he hadn't met her just yet.

Tai glanced at Leon again, his face was pale. He wasn't sure if all this was something Karri should have been exposed to. Knowing how stubborn his little sister could be he held up a hand to prevent Leon pursuing the matter.
"Karri... we don't know what this could be, the compass was passed down to ME, so it's my responsibility to see that it is safe... it is also my responsibility to see that YOU are safe... i wont have you involved in something that might endanger you in even the remotest of ways." He frowned, his expression resolute, though he was terrible at keeping a stern face with Karri.

Karri smirked up at Leon at first, thinking she'd won, but her face fell a little by the time Tai had finished talking. She stared back at him with the same look and fold her arms in a childish 'i'm not going anywhere' way. But, being a child, she could get away with it easy enough. It not looking out of place, i mean.
Trinity looked down at Bahamut curiously. She jumped down off of Karri's shoulder and playfully jumped up and swatted his nose.

Leon folded his arms and straightened his back, looking down at Karri.
'Okay, tell ya what. How about we don't go to Late Night, and we just go back to my place instead? I'm sure there's a mountain of movies you'd wanna watch, right?'
He toyed with his necklace.
Bahamut made a short noise, kind of like a mix between a yelp and a growl, and reared up over Trinity, playing with her.

Watching the whole scene from a park bench only fifty yards away was Alexander Van Witser. He gently stroked the top of his wolf's head. The wolf, Eclipse, growled quielty at the site of the other animals. Alexander would normaly shush her but he couldn't take his eyes off the compass.
