[Sparkles]

[Just try run with it. Only have 1 or 2 characters. Make it up as you go]

"Give him back!" karri yelled at the older boy.
"Not until you tell me" he teasd, waving the little fox about above his head.
"Okay" she sobbed, reaching up for Trinity, but the white fox stayed where she was, making little wining noises, her eyes open wide with fear.
"C'mon, spill it or little fluffy here gets flushed" he walked back into the cubical and held the small fox over the open bowl. Karri sobbed more, "It's in my bag" she fixed her blurry eyes on the fox as it hung limply in his large bulky fingers. "Get it for me, runt!"
She nodded quickly and momentarily tore her eyes away, running over to her school bag. She searched it and eventually found the small compass. She made a wish, that her brother would understand, before running back over and offering to the boy. He snatched it out of her delicate fingers and dropped the fox before pushing passed her and out of the toilets with a smug smile on his chubby face.
"No.." she knelt down and grabbed her creature out of the water, taking him over to the dryer. She hugged the wet shaking fox, "Are you okay Trin?"
The tiny creature nodded, burrowing her head under Karri's arm. "Are you?" it mumbled.
"Brother's gonna kill me" she sighed, watching the door which her brother's compass had disapeared through.
"It'll be okay Karri" she took her head out and walked across Karri's arm so that when she waved her dripping tail about, the dryer clicked on.
"I hope so" Karri looked back at Trin, "But brother doesn't even know I took it."

The tree loomed above his head, its petals falling like rain around him, dancing on the light wind. His eyes rode back and forth along the lines of the page he read, the light gleaming faintly off his glasses. A lock of his short silver hair fell in his eyes and he raised a hand to absently brush it away, that hand then falling to stroke the spine of a large shaggy black dog that lay curled in the grass beside him.
The day was warm and sunny, but not too bright... it was a perfect day by many peoples standards, but for Tai it just seemed like any other day.

One day bled into the next seamlessly, nothing changed, it was like a CD stuck in repeat, playing the same track over and over. Keeping busy was the only thing he could do to give his life a little interest, but it still really only felt like a half existence. He was for his sister, that was what he believed. He loved his younger sibling dearly, and despite what a handful she could be at times he would not trade her for all the world.

((sorry, but i feel like having a depressing character. ))

[Kamil]

Kamil was feeling a bit depressed today; he had just realized how pointless his existance was and became incredibly bored with life. Fortunately, this was not the first time it had happened and he knew how to fix it.
He got out his iPod and went through the list until he found the right song. He hit play and after a few seconds the music started and he began to silently mouth the lyrics. It was the most depresing song he had, but it always made him feel better for some reason.
While he was walking he noticed someone sitting under a tree. He seemed to always be there, but Kamil had never actually seen him do anything. Other than on his walks, he hadn't seen the guy anywhere. Still, he was in a good mood now that he was listening to depressing music so he gave a little half wave and smiled.

Karri ran out of the bathroom and looked around for her brother. As she did so her tears began to well. He never went anywhere without it, what if he'd already noticed?
She stopped herself and took a deep breath. "It'll be alright Karri" Trin tried to reasure her. The snow white fox was sitting inside Karri's school bag with her head popping out of an unzipped section. "He doesn't get angry a lot, it'll be okay"
"I hope so, Trinity" she started walking around the building, looking back and forth for Kai.
Eventually, after crossing a few different areas of the school, she could see him. Begun after school, he was waiting for her under a cherry blossom tree just reading one of his thick books that he'd probably read many times over.
She ran towards him and stopped, panting, a few feet infront of him. She tried to talk, but when she did, her ees welled up with tears again, afraid that he'd be angry with her. "I'm sorry Kai" she wiped her cheeks of the tears that were alredy begining to stain them.

Tai looked up from his book as he heard feet running over, and a small smile would twitch at the corners of his mouth as he recognized his sister. Over her shoulder he saw a stranger walking by, he'd seen this person walk past nearly every day at the same time, only today they gave a small wave and a smile, so he smiled back and nodded a silent greeting. He then marked his page and stood, the large black dog beside him stood, golden eyes gleaming.
His long jacket fluttered a little as he stood, his icy blue eyes glinting behind his glasses, which he then reached up to remove, placing them in his pocket.
"What for Kay?" He asked, using his nickname for her. He stepped forward with a light, concerned frown, "You look flushed... has someone been picking on you?" His voice took on the typical big brother strength as he moved into defender mode XD

"I..." she sniveled, "I broke your compass and it wouldn't go back together so i braught it to school so Daniel could fix it.." she wipd her eyes with the back of her hand, but the tears kept coming, "But some older boy took Trinity and... and i gave it to him. But he still..and..." she ran the few steps between them and hugged him as tight as she could, "I'm sorry I took it, Tai"
"It's true, he was hurting me" Trin practically squeeked.

Tai was a little surprised when his sister owned up to having taken his compass. He hadn't even realised strangely enough, usually he compulsivly checked it. He reached into his pocket and found it empty.
Man had he been stupid?
Karri was now clinging to his waist, so, gently, he knelt down to be at eye level with her, cupping a cheek with his hand.
"Karri, you shouldn't have taken it... but you know, if you'd brought it back to me when you thought you broke it, you probably could have avoided this mess..." His face was gentle but unreadable.
"I thought i taught you honesty?"

[Sparkles]

"I know... but i didn't want you to be angry with me, and i didn't mean to break it, i didn't know it had a message in the back" she looked at the ground, ashamed. "I won't do it again, i promise.
" she said quietly. "But Tai, how will we get it back now?"

[Tifa Lockhart]

Tai's eyes widened as she mentioned a message and he abruptly cut her off.
"Message? So you mean you opened it?" He asked, his voice slightly more urgent then usual, though it retained its usual gentle tone.
The large black dog beside him stood motionless, golden eyes scanning around them.

"I'm not sure.. i thought i broke it. I was just twisting and turning it and pulling bits out and moving them into different spots like you normally do and the back just fell off, and a little bit of yellow folded paper came out with these strange symbols on it so i put it back and closed it, but i couldn't get the last piece in. That's still in my bag... do you want it?" she was happier now, maybe her opening it was a good thing. It had to be

At this Tai slapped a hand to his forehead and began to laugh strangely.
"haha i should have known..." He shook his head and wiped his streaming eyes with the back of his hand. "If you have a piece i would like to see it yes." He smiled gently at her again.

"Okay" she beamed up at him before letting go and bringing her bag around so that she could rummage through it. As she opened it up, Trinity jumped out onto her shoulder and curled up there, watching what was happening, more content now that Karri wasn't in any more trouble.
Karri foun the wrapped up tissue screwed up at the bottom of her bag and opened it. She picked out the small golden knob and passed it to her brother. "It wouldn't go back in. I fixed it all but then to get it back in i had to open it again, but i didnt want to incase i couldn't get it back together again" she frowned, remembering the annoyance that she'd missed a piece.

Tai reached out and gently took the piece, he observed it for a moment before looking down at the black dog that accompanied him. They met each others gaze and held it there for a moment, as if some sort of silent discussion was going on. Finaly they broke eye contact and Tai looked back at his sister.
"We need to get the compass back Karri... but don't stress too much... i'll talk to the principle about it." He was a lot more worried than he sounded, but he didn't want to concern his sister.

[Elario Luminus]

Leon walked through the grassed area and saw his best friends talking under a tree. He cupped his hands around his mouth to shout 'Hey, Tai an' Kay!' before jogging over to them. Bahamut, Leon's tiny black lion cub, ran to keep up with him.

Arriving to the tree where Tai always seemed to be, Leon laughed and held his hand out to shake his friends'.
'How ya been, matey? What's Kay doin'?'
He knelt down by his only other best mate, who he probably would have a massive crush on if she was his age, and touched her lightly on the shoulder.
'What've ya lost, kiddo?'
He always spoke to Karri like this, knowing that she enjoyed his company like that of her brothers.

Leon reached into his back pocket and took out a piece of Tai's compass. He held it up to Tai.
'This looks like it belongs to you, mate. It wasn't shattered; more like delicately pieced apart.'
He stood up to his full height, holding Bahamut cradle style as he went. Playing with the lion cub absent-mindedly.
'Someone knows what they're doin'. That fact kinda speaks for itself, don't ya think?'

Now the situation was getting confusing. There some girl ran up with a fox in her bag, and then another guy with a lion cub.... What's going on? Isn't it illegal to have those animals as pets? Kamil shook his head; he didn't really know.
Even just watching he could tell that something was wrong. The girl had been crying and now they had given some things to the first guy who seemed to be hiding some emotions. None of them seemed to think that the animals were weird.
Watching them, Kamil wondered what would be more rude: ignoring people who were obviously in distress, or interrupting the conversation of complete strangers. He had no idea; it would probably depend on what the people were like and what they were talking about. Unable to make a decision, he sat down on a bench to think about it and see if he could get more information without actually eavesdropping.
