[The Painted Lady]

Reece's gaze snapped up from Ash's bloodied body when he heard his name. He felt a small bit of relief flow through his body when he saw Damien's face. He didn't notice the differences in him. Yet.
"Damien!" he called, trying to bring his attention to the two of them on the floor.
He glanced down at Ash. Her eyes were closed, but she was still breathing. Just. The boy was still looking quite distressed.
"Ashley's really hurt..."

Damien strode forward,kneeling down and putting his hand on her shoulder "Ash,Ash its Damien " he glanced around to make sure the coast was clear. He looked over her, She was in a bad way and needed medical attention...fast.

Ash didn't respond. She was comatose as a result of her injuries; it wasn't looking good. Blood trickled from her lips.

"What are we going to do?" Reece asked, voice strained with panic.

[blitz]

"We'll get her out of here, Come on lets go,stay behind me." He scooped up Ash with unnatural ease,he could bearly feel her wieght as he supported her with both arms, He turned ,walking quickly down the corridor "keep up Reece" he called.

Ash's body was limp in Damien's arms as he picked her up. She made a small moaning sound, showing signs of consciousness for a brief second, but the noise was choked off by the blood in her throat.

Reece ran his fastest to keep up with Damien, keeping his panicked eyes firmly on Ashley.
"Is she going to be okay?" he asked in a small voice.

he rounded the corner, 'shes not going to make it Damien, aw what a shame hahaha' the vioce cackled again. The rounded a corner " ARHHHH!!!" a doctor had been cornered by an ever advancing group of infected, Damien intervened,shielding Ash from every blow,he lashed out with his feet, cracking skulls and crushing with each blow, soon the infected lay in heaps on the floor,battered and broken...and very very dead.The doctor was fine,a little shook up but fine.

Though a little bewildered and scared of whatever Damien had just done, Reece stayed close to him.
"What the hell..." he said in mild - well, not mild - shock.
He looked up at Damien.
"What was that?..."

Nothen kiddo, dont worry about it. He turned to the doctor, "i did you a favour,no your doing one for me, come on, he said to the whimpering man.

(( just so you know... you probally already do, no one but damien can hear the vioce))

Reece opened his mouth to question Damien again, but he was interrupted by a weak cough. His eyes shot to Ashley. Copious amounts of blood were spilling from her lips. He had never seen her look so weak and vulnerable. Had she given her life to save his? He shuddered, hoping not, running to keep up with Damien.

he kicked open the door of the medical wing, a Zombie was knelt over feeding on a corpse, Damien quickly dispatched it by stomping its head into the ground...crushing it flat.He put Ash upon a bed "Save her please" he asked the doctor, who stuggled to snap himself out of it. "I...I...Ill d'do my best" he walked towards her,Damien grabbed his shirt "yes....you will" he released him and turned to Reece "we'll be okay sonny,see if the nice man needs some help" he turned his gaze toward the door,awaiting the inevitable onslaught of zombies"

Reece nodded.
"Okay Damien," he said, rushing back toward Ash and the doctor.
"What should I do?" he asked the man.
The doctor looked up, a little dumbfounded. Was his assistant going to be a ten-year old?
"Wash your hands," he said shakily, nodding to the sink nearby. "Then hook her up to that heart monitor."
Reece quickly did as he was told, and soon a very slow, uneven beeping filled the room.
"Now... put your hands here," the doctor said, sounding a little stronger as he pointed to a spot on Ash's abdomen, close to her gaping wound. "Keep it firm. Hopefully it'll stop the bleeding... Give me a bit more time..."

then it came,with unbelievable ferocity,zombies of all sizes begun to attempt to enter the room,but Damien would have none of that,he punched once,twice,the first zombie fell,its face caved in,Damien lashed backwards with his foot,crushing another against the wall,he took the sidearm it had been carrying, blam, another zombie fell,a small entry wound to its cheek and large hole in the back of its head.

The doctor's eyes shot up as the infected swarmed in, but Reece didn't even twitch.
"Keep focused!" he instructed firmly. "Damien's got it covered."
Nervously, the doctor returned to Ashley, working at sealing her arteries and stitching her back up. This was really a job for the operation table, but he would have to make do. He feared the C.U.R.E. officer's reaction if the woman didn't survive.

" awww,imagine what they'll do to him when they get past you,and what they'll do to her hehehehe how unbearably WONDERFUL HAHAHA!" the vioce cackled inside his head , slug after slug shot from the barrel of his pistol,Zombie after zombie fell to the ground,dead.The weapon ran dry,damien adjusted his grip and threw it,it sunk into the face of another zombie,it stumbled and tripped,a quick kick saw its head crushed against the doorway. "hows it going in there,is she going to be ok doctor?" he yelled. He grapped another by the neck,and slammed it against the wall,hearing a snap as the body went limp.

"We-well, it's hard to tell," the doctor stuttered, trying not to get distracted by Damien's fighting tactics, lest he be reprimanded by his young assistant.
"It's a very bad wound... I can only do so much. She'll have to pull through on her own will, I think..."
"Come on Ashley..." Reece whispered, drooping his head, but not relaxing the pressure on her stomach.
