Roran sighed slightly and brushed his fringe out of his face with a casual hand.
"Aye, there is a lot of bad news coming out of Terra as of late. What with their Arc vanishing... i think we've rough times ahead."

Roran paused and looked at Imara with serious golden eyes, tilting his head slightly as he spoke.
"What past is that you speak of? The four have been at peace for centuries."

Tilting her head also she gave him a knowing smile of the knowledge that had been hidden from most people,
"My love, before those centuries everyone knows of there was war that plagued each town, and still haunts the lesser parts of each kingdom today." Standing up from the bed, she lent on the post at the end, "Believe it or not, but there are somethings that even the kings and queens are not told of by their arcs for fear of the people knowing that peace does not exist."

"I grew up in the Magic Academy." Roran murmured, rubbing his chin, "So... i guess i count as one of your 'protected'." He didn't seem like he'd been insulted by her comment.

Roran nodded and scooped up his bag, throwing it over his shoulders before he put a hand around Imara's waist.
"Let us be off then! Do you need anything before we depart?" He opened the door for her and pulled it closed behind them.

Roran laughed, golden eyes twinkling as they went down the stairs and left payment on the innkeepers bench. They then hit the busy streets and headed for the dock.
"You don't get sea-sick do you?" Roran asked as he bought two apples at a stand on their way down to the docks.

Smiling meekly she shook her head them stopped,
"No I do not, but the ocean often lulls me to sleep" It was something about the calm of the waters that did it.

The walk to the docks was short, and they didn't have any problem finding their boat, it was the biggest most obvious one there.
"Ladies first." Roran said, offering a hand to help Imara up onto the gangway.
