Assassin's Creed roleplay thread


The date is the year 1500. A separate faction of the Assassin's Brotherhood has moved across Italia, as per the Grand master's orders. In hot pursuit, an elite strike team of Templar hunters. This is the story of those two teams as they strike and counter-strike high-priority targets.

Name: Vittorio (LAST NAME UNKNOWN)

Faction: Assassin

Speciality: Trained to just below Ezio's level, aka everything.

Role in Faction: Ezio's personal Assassin, and Captain of the Faction.

Weapon/s of Choice: Sword, Hidden Blades, Hidden Pistol, Smoke Bombs, Metal Cestus, Crossbow.

Personality: Easy going outside of combat and missions, but inside them he gets a level head and drives his fellow Assassins to be their best and better than. Has a knack for sensing something wrong with a situation.

Name: Violetta Dell'Aquila
Age: 19
Faction: Courtesan (Originally from Teodora's La Rosa Della Virtù bordello in Venice)
Specialty: Trained by the sisters to seduce... then kill
Role in Faction: Assassin for the bordello, independent from the Order (for now...), trained to eliminate threats to the house and the girls inside it.
Weapon/s of Choice: Fan blades, Hidden pistol, Smoke bombs
Personality: Shares Sister Teodora Contanto's views on religion, but is quite self assured and independent when it comes to men. Strong not only in the physical, but also mental sense. Is stubborn and goes after something when she wants it. You better not get in her way...

Just not personally affiliated with either at this stage. Though, her bordello technically probably is sided with the Order.

Name: Liborio Edoardo Modesti
Age: 23
Faction: Templar
Speciality: Exceptionally skilled with the blade, I'm talking Prodigy like - completely unmatched.
Role in Faction: Quite low ranked, just does as he's told.
Weapon/s of Choice: A long but light weighted sword. He has a dagger concealed just in case he is disarmed (however unlikely that is.)

Personality: A passionate individual with very strong religious beliefs. His beliefs are not the typical Roman Catholic however, but rather a 'bastardisation' of traditional beliefs. He believes quite strongly that it is Gods desire for the earth to be cleansed, and therefore legitimately believes that those worthy of the new world will be spared the pain and suffering and live to see the birth of a new world order. He supports the Templar cause with his whole heart, genuinely believing that they are doing the right thing to create a better world. He's oblivious to the negative actions and consequences that are occuring deeper within the order.
He's quite calm and very humble, despite his immense skill with a blade he always denies claims that he is the best in all Italy (though it is highly likely that he in fact, is.) He dislikes shedding blood, but will do so if he thinks it will bring about the birth of the new world. He's inclined to apologising (and even weeping on rare occasions) over the bodies of those he must kill. His dearest wish is that the fighting come to an end and a peaceful resolution found. He's also quite a gentleman, and though it takes a lot to rouse his anger, he has a very bad temper.

Appearance: He has light brown hair and particularly strong blue eyes. He has the 'roman' nose and strong features that make him quite the 'model' good-looking Italian. He wears long black breeches tucked into brown leather boots that go up to the knee and are buckled at the sides. He wears a normal off-white shirt with a low V neck that is laced up with leather thonging. Over the top of this he wears an emerald green tabbard that is trimmed with subtle gold brocade and tied at the waist with a brown leather belt, the clasp of which is the Modesti family crest. He golden cross hangs around his neck. He also has a signet ring bearing the family insignia and leather vambraces on each wrist.

History: He was born in Grosseto Tuscany and raised by a generally normal family. At sixteen he lost a sister to an abusive husband. This fueled his moral compass towards the path of the Templar. He left his family home and traveled to Venice, where he met with the Grandmasters of the Templar order and was initiated to be one of their Knights after they witnessed his skill with the blade. He is currently stationed at (wherever this roleplay is set) but has been given no specific orders as of yet.

Name: Cristiana Bella Mortelarri
Age: 20
Faction: none as of yet
Speciality: Free running, gathering information and theft.
Role: Commoner , although works in her fathers fabric store sometimes. Otherwise she is secretly creating a life of crime which she is very new too.
Weapons of choice: Poison, Dagger, smoke bombs, throwing knives.
Personality: Cristiana does what she needs to do to stay alive, and staying alive means the need for money, though she is not very strong. She relies on her speed when she performs her crimes. She panics a lot and lies most of the time.

Appearance:

Medium blonde hair with blueish green eyes, she stands at a average height with rather good posture despite her daily routines. She is skinny with fair skin, and a has a lovely italian formed face with plump lips. Although it is her rank in society that restricts her from being the beauiful woman under the old clothes and dirt.
She wears her hair down but a few locks are curled at the front.

History
Born into a family who runned a fabric store but it is under threat from the guards that control the region. The store has been
burned down once and trashed another time for not paying fees on time. Cristiana's father runs the store and she adores his strenght.
She is the youngest of a family of six children, having five brothers who are older than her and two of which have left their home and out of Rome.. abandoning them.
Her mother had died when she was younger so she has learned to run the home which is also under threat from guards due to the little income they gather. Cristiana's theivery is a small contribution to helping her family keep their house and their lives.
