"Petty revenge?" the courtesan scoffed. She tried to keep the flames from her eyes as she snatched up her towel again, wrapping it around her once more. She didn't like the way he spoke to her... like she was out of her depth. She knew how to handle herself just fine. "I wasn't going to just sit around and let him kill another girl here," she replied curtly. "That bastardo took one of my sisters lives and had the nerve to attempt another. She later died from her injuries, despite our care, so I sought him out myself." She flicked her hair with an arrogant air, but it was very clear she was protective of the girls in the bordello. "He didn't take too long to realise it was a trap, but I was ready for that. He wanted to play with fire, so he got incinerated. Simple as that."

Cristiana growled at the guards, sick of how they could treat everyone like they were nothing. She was backing up, she was confident but if the Borgia Captian tried to grab her, that would fall away. " What gives you the right to take someone from their home! They worked hard so you could just snatch them from ...what they built up. " Her voice was getting scratchy and the nerves could be heard in them now. The Borgia captian snuffed at Cristiana and gripped his sword tighter before pointing at her. " Stay out of this woman! Your opinion is not warrented" He was getting very angry, the crowd in the square had their eyes on the event that was occuring. The captian didn't like making a scene, he had to stop this abombination. "Give me my Papa back!" Cristiana croaked with tears in her eyes throwing down on the floor the notice she found at her home. The Captian lurched forward and grabbed the fragile woman by the wrist, pulling her in close. " You make no demands here scum!" He threw Cristiana down at his feet and swung his sword letting it sweep quickly over her forearm. It only lightly cut her flesh but enough to make her flinch. Her courage and confidence had lowered drastically when he had grabbed her. She couldn't do more with these Guards. She was too upset and hysterical to try and get more information or to pester them any longer. Cristiana held her forearm, a small amount of blood staining her light brown sleeves. " Leave Now!" The Borgia Captian threatened her again, raising his sword. The crowd was beginning to panic slightly, many removing themselves from the scene. Others just stood and watched, making comments to each other. Cristiana picked herself up and staggered back from the Guards, pushing her way through the groups of people to get herself out of the wrath of the Borgia captian.

Vittorio nodded after the courtesan finished explaining her actions. 'Your reason is well-placed. I myself would do much the same thing if someone was picking off one of my Brothers or Sisters. It turns out that he was a member, a high ranking one, of a secret organisation known as the Knights Templar. They seek and strive for nothing short of pure control over everything. You've probably dealt them a great blow by killing this man.' The Assassin went quiet for a while, picking up his robes and belts from the floor and putting them back on. After he'd finished, he turned to his charge. 'If you'd like, I can help you. I can offer not only you, but your bordello and all the girls, safety from tyrants such as the one you killed today. I can also train you to refine your skills, and give you brand new ones...such as the ability of proper free movement.' He added that last bit with a knowing smile, one that spoke about the courtesans afflicted knee.

Violetta pursed her lips, crossing her arms when he mentioned "free movement". He really had been watching her the entire time... "And the catch? I highly doubt that you are running some kind of carità here. Much less for a woman of my occupation."

Vittorio smirked as he continued dressing himself. "Not quite. I'm quite happy to teach you what I know, bella." He tugged the final belt into place and clamped it shut. "All I require is your commitment to the cause you've brought yourself into. In return, I will teach you how to move through the crowd without being seen, how to hide your kills, how to appear innocent when it should be obvious that they're looking for you, and more." Already he was looking the courtesan up and down, measuring the new clothes for her.

Violetta paused for a moment. "... If I agree, am I free to leave at any time?" she asked suspiciously. She was still concerned with self-preservation...

Vittorio nodded and folded his arms. 'You may leave at any time, but me and my Brotherhood will watch you afterwards to make sure you don't tell our enemies our secrets.' The Assassin flicked out his hidden blades to check their current state, then flicked them back in. 'Do we have a deal?'

Violetta paused, as if uncertain, but this man hadn't shown any malice toward her or any reason to doubt the words he spoke. And if this meant that she could better protect both herself and the girls, then it would be stupid of her to not at least test the waters. "... I suppose we do," she finally replied. "This won't be the last time we meet then, no doubt?"

Vittorio nodded and moved to the window sill. 'That you can be sure of. We will contact you within the next two days. Prepare what you need to.' He climbed out onto the window. 'Until then, bella.' The Assassin jumped up and scaled the wall swiftly, heading East towards the Hideout.

Violetta followed Vittorio to the window, watching him scale the building, then disappeared into thin air. She paused for a moment, before speaking up suddenly, apparently to someone close by. "You know, it's rude to peep into a girl's room, Signore..."

Cristiana was sitting on a bench near a blacksmiths, a bag of coins in her lap... she had grabbed it when the borgia captain had grabbed her and pulled her to face him. She took the oppotunity of course, to snatch his purse and escape without any hassle. Though it wont do much againb.. she needed to get her father back, but who would help her? she couldn't do it by herself

There was the sound of swearing, scrabbling through branches, and then a VERY red-faced Liborio dropped out of the tree and onto the veranda. "Mi scuso madonna," he apologised immediately, still very red in the face. "It was not my intention to peep. I was... following someone."

Violetta gave a quiet laugh. "It seems that many people are making it their business to stalk others today," she said. She started to toy with the wooden crucifix around her neck. "You certainly chose a... convenient time to get stuck in that particular tree." She paused, looking the man up and down. "Hm, I recognise your face... It wasn't me you followed, was it?" she started to smirk. "There's no shame in using the front door..."

Vittorio began heading towards the Hideout, scaling small walls and vaulting rails the entire way. After a particularly long drop, he heard his armour clink uncomfortably. Groaning, he saw that part of his right grieve had become detached and was swinging wildly. Cazzo...fine, to the nearest blacksmiths then. Looking around, the Assassin saw one just a couple of streets away. He leaped down into a bale of hay, climbed out and made it to the blacksmiths without attracting much attention. He paid for the service and sat down while he waited, next to a young woman who seemed more than a little distressed. 'If you don't mind me asking, singorita, why are you so sad?'
